Atlantic Rail's Katie stops at Fish Hoek Station. She is hauling a set of wooden bodied vintage coaches dating from 1922 to 1938 from Cape Town to Simon's Town. There is a trip - to Simon's Town and back - roughly every other Sunday and on some public holidays. The route hugs the False Bay coastline for a significant part of the journey. Seats are snapped up fast and one needs to book weeks - even months - in advance. Details at
