Batumi is a city in Georgia you must not miss visiting. Having said that, it is a city that should be visited during summer. It has a milder climate than rest of Georgia. In Jan. it is 6 degrees, when it is perhaps minus 1 or so in Tbilisi. In my opinion, Batumi is stunning and way better than Tbilisi. It looks modern and posh, very Europe-style. Do not miss this city in Georgia!

Borjomi Central Park | Popular tourist destination in Georgia | Ahsan's Window
The Borjomi Central Park is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Borjomi, Georgia.
We spent two nights in Borjomi mainly to visit the park and the other two close by destinations Rabati Fortress and Vardzia Caves.
At the park entrance a battery-operated cart driver approached us offering a roundtrip ride to the mountain top around the park at GEL 10/- each. We are a family of six and we readily rented the service which turned out to be a good decision. The driver was friendly, accommodating and patient, not showing any signs of frustration in spite of my children stopping him time to time for the photoshoot while driving up the mountain. After reaching the mountain top he took us atop of the mouth of the waterfall which was quite adventurous. He gave his best to show us the parks surroundings.
The path leading to the park is flanked with the souvenir shops and there is a Turkish restaurant next to the park entrance where we had delicious dinner.
The shops sell empty plastic bottles of various sizes to tourists for filling mineral water from the park which supposedly have healing powers. I drank the water right from the spring which was warm with a peculiar taste somewhat a combination of sweet and salt having aroma of metal.
The park is a rejuvenating place to walk around and there is a tranquillity in its atmosphere.
The park remain open late in the night.
The entrance ticket is just nominal GEL 2/- per person.

Borjomi Tourist Scam Georgia 🇬🇪
In this video, I'll share my experience with falling for the Borjomi tourist scam in Georgia. I begin the video in the town where I walk around and show the beautiful town of Borjomi, afterwards, I make my way to a park where the government has set up a ticket office to enter the park for nothing special about the place but besides walking about and enjoying nature. It's like any other town park in the world where you enter for free like any other person.
I continue my way walking in the park hitting a trail to start my hike in Borjomi park, and made my way up to the main street where there wasn't any ticket office there.

An ancient cable car (aerial tram) beside the Borjomi Central Park entrance carries you up to a hilltop Ferris wheel and the pine woods of the Borjomi Plateau, a lovely spot for some easy walking and with spectacular views over the town.
Borjomi is a resort town in central Georgia. It's known for its mineral waters, with springs in Borjomi Central Park. Borjomi, together with Bakuriani, was named by Georgia as an applicant city for the 2014 Winter Olympics on June 22, 2005, but it was eliminated as a candidate by the International Olympic Committee on June 22, 2006. In the Nearby area of Borjomi cable car is the Heart of Borjomi, where there are Hotels and store (stalls) of different traditional products which the georgian showcase to their visitors. This is now country number 15 of my solo backpacking trip around the world.
After spending a few days in Tbilisi it’s now time for me to move on to the next town. So in this video I figure out how to get to Borjomi from Tbilisi using public transport. I take a mini bus, known locally as a marshrutka, and it turns out to be quite an experience.
After taking a marshrutka from Tbilisi to Borjomi, I explore the area with a little bit of hiking and find a fantastic viewpoint.

Beautiful Borjomi - Georgian spa town
Borjomi is a beautiful town in central Georgia. It’s most famous for its natural mineral springs, producing the lightly sparkling water which made the town famous.
Borjomi water is Georgia’s biggest export and is now exported to 40 countries. You can taste the water straight from the source. Just head to Borjomi Central Park.
The town remains a popular tourist destination. It’s surrounded by mountains and forests and is popular in the summer and in the winter.
The nearby ski resort of Bakuriani is also worth a visit. You can take a scenic train journey through the mountains from Borjomi to Bakuriani. Unfortunately it was closed for renovation when we were there but we hope to go back and do it one winter.

Visit the Mineral Park
Due to recent renovations, the Mineral Park will appear fairly modern, but it has been around since the mid-1850s.
