In today’s video I’m taking a look at the most beautiful towns in Colorado and the prettiest places to visit. The vast Rocky Mountains draw in visitors looking for a laidback vacation with amazing culture and attractions.
Enjoy a jam-packed day in one of the national parks or ski at one of the largest resorts in the country. Whatever you choose you won’t be disappointed as each of these towns offers stunning views and one-of-a-kind scenery.
Some of the towns on this list are lesser known and include some hidden gems. As a local, I go off the tourist path to find some unique and scenic towns to visit and with little tourist crowds.
From skiing and snowboarding in the winter to hiking, and camping in the summer, outdoor activities are a way of life in Colorado. The Centennial State is an ideal travel destination and one of the best places to visit for outdoor pursuits in every season.

Day#8 is up. It was a nice scenic drive from Blackhawk to Estes Park through the peak to peak scenic highway. The drive through rocky mountain national park was absolutely breathtaking. If you are coming from Denver, I would suggest atleast 3 days at RMNP. The best things to do in Colorado Springs
Gilpin County Casinos reopen June 17th. Central City and Blackhawk.
This is my video driving from I-70 up the Central City Expressway through Central City and Blackhawk. I give a history of the towns as well as information on the various events and things to see in the area.
I've been coming up to Central City for 5 years now. It's a nice place to visit even though it's at 8500 feet above sea level.
Here are a couple of books on the history of Gilpin County.

Two corrections where I misspoke.
I stated that I was getting on from I-25 not I-70.
I stated that OMG road was 3.7 miles from Central City to Idaho Springs. That is how the crow flies. It is actually 8.6 miles total.
