On the pedestrian's bridge Brücke der zwei Ufer / Passerelle des Deux Rives between Strasbourg and Kehl. Short trip to a Rhine bridge between France and Germany on a sunny day. The Passerelle des Deux Rives is a pedestrian and cyclist bridge over the Rhine. It was designed by the Parisian architect Marc Mimram as the centerpiece of the cross-border regional garden show between the cities of Strasbourg and Kehl. It was inaugurated and handed over to its intended use at the opening of the horticultural show on April 23, 2004. The Passerelle des deux Rives is part of the cross-border park Garden of the Two Banks.

Das Paradies - Eine Wasserkunstanlage in Baden Baden
Das Paradies ist eine Wasserkunstanlage in Baden-Baden, die am Annaberg einen Höhenunterschied von 40 Metern überwindet. Das Paradies bietet an seinem oberen Ende einen Blick auf die Altstadt mit dem Turm der Stiftskirche, das Neue Schloss und den gegenüberliegenden Friesenberg. In den 1950er- und 1960er-Jahren verfiel das Paradies zunehmend, für kurze Zeit erwog die Stadt sogar den Abriss des Kleinods. Im Zuge der 1981 in Baden-Baden ausgerichteten Landesgartenschau erwachte die Wasserkunstanlage aus ihrem Dornröschenschlaf und wurde weitgehend wiederhergerichtet.

Baden-Baden lies at the northwestern border of the Black Forest mountain range on the small river Oos, just 10 km (6 mi) east of the Rhine. Nestled at the foot of the Black Forest in South Germany, Baden-Baden is a chic destination for those who fancy a dip in its famous salt- and radon-rich thermal hot springs. Baden-Baden has been a popular destination for so long that it's starting to show its age, but not to worry. Baden-Baden is still very classy, picturesque and well-maintained. Places to see in ( Baden Baden - Germany ) Museum Frieder Burda
The Museum Frieder Burda is an art museum in Baden-Baden , built to a design by the architect Richard Meier and opened in October 2004. The private collector's museum adjoins the Kunsthalle Baden-Baden in the Lichtentaler Allee . In addition to works of classical modernism and contemporary art from the collection of the builder Frieder Burda regularly special exhibitions are shown.
The American architect Richard Meier has designed a bright, open building with two large halls, two cabinets and a basement. The three floors are accessed via walk-in ramps as in older Meier buildings. The construction of the Staatliche Kunsthalle by Hermann Billing , whose sequence of smaller and larger rooms is still considered a particularly successful example of well-proportioned and functional museum architecture, is 100 years older than the museum is connected by a glass bridge; The content of the bridge is also part of the program: there are joint exhibitions that cover both museums.
The new building with around 1000 square meters of exhibition space cost around 15 million euros and was fully supported by the Frieder Burda Foundation. For the two-year construction, no public funds were used. The museum was built by the Baden-Baden architect Peter W. Kruse.
The Frieder Burda Collection includes about 1,000 works by modern and contemporary art, including paintings, sculptures, objects and works on paper. The focus is on: German Expressionism, Abstract Expressionism, German painting from 1960, Picasso, painting from 1990. At the museum's opening, the collection was to be seen for the first time in its main focuses. Around 150 of a total of 550 artworks at that time included the opening exhibition in the new building and the adjoining Staatlichen Kunsthalle Baden-Baden. Founding director was from 2004 to 2006, the Karlsruhe art historian Klaus Gallwitz .
