It was of 9 days' travel in Manang. This vlog is all about the day first.
9:00 am - we left Besisahar
10:00 am - we arrived at Sinho-Sagarmatha hydro Project (Where we can see Nepal's First under-pass way)
10:30 am - Got problem on Jeep (It took 2 hrs for maintenance)
12:30 am - Our journey started again. Had lots of adventure on the way. Some of which are included in this video.
7:00 pm - We finally reached Manang. It was a long travel.

The Manang Valley also knows as cold desert of Nepal,lies in Gandaki province close to the Nepal-Tibet border.

Making it finally over Throng La Pass and ending in Muktinath, Nepal. The female backpacker gives her take on the entire journey, while providing valuable tips and how she would do something's differently. This trek took place in mid to late October.

Yes ! Internet has reached here in Besisahar. Found one small cyber cafe here...at any rate....as usual my dear wife woke me up at 6:30am :) ! Got ready by 7:00am and Dawa was waiting for me downstairs. After having a good breakfast and paying the tab at Hotel Ganesh Himal (Costed 3124 NPR for 2 days with one dinner + 2 breakfast) Dawa and myself set off. After few negotiations we got in one taxi (maruti 800) to reach microbus (midsize van) station at Balajhu around 8:15...got the tickets and waited (having nepali tea) for our hyundai microbus to start....we started off at 9:00am for the 210KM journey to besisahar.... The journey was awesome...squeezed like poultry became comfortable in a while..was seated in front between Dawa and driver. After passing through monkey temple and refuelling (75 NPR for 1 litre diesel) we exited Kathmandu..very beautiful drive..but all curvy going up and down mountains...our driver was pretty good and he did a great job...Dawa was educating me that Nak is female Yak and that we will have Nak cheese on the trek and also have Yak meat ;) ! Also now there are roads from pokhara to jomson...so if required we can always take a vehicle from jomsom...(hmm..not going to do that)..Dawa keeps on chewing tobacco mixed with some chemical (called surti)..even the driver and other passengers do..tobacco chewing is pretty common...i smelled surti and it very punget mix of tobacco and something else...would give a try later (atleast to taste)...after two hours drive the driver pulled over for a mass pee break...everyone got down like trained puppies and started on :) ! I We continued our journey and i started reading about Nepal's history and culture...this country has gone through ups and downs historically and recent politically...we stopped at some hotel to have lunch and were treated with rice and lentils (dal) we also had some lamb meat and fried fish...fish was great..and supposed to be consumed all head to tail..after crossing the many tollgates, beautfiul ravines, small villages and hydroelectric stations (some exporting power to india)...we finally reached Besisahar at 2:30pm. Five and half hour of scenic ride..enjoyed every bit of it. Looks like Besisahar is developing fast...the dirt road is now a tar road upto the town..electricity, mobile network, internet connection...everything is here. We have put up on a teahouse (in making to be a hotel) called Throung La guest house...basically the teahouse concept is that you stay at the place and eat at the place..run by families by extending their homes..generally build floors higher up. Coincidentally I am in room 104 (opposite to 401 that i had in Kathmandu) ...some number magic going on ...anyways the room is small 10x10 cell with basic amneties..a bed..a fan (no need to use..) and a shared toilet / bathrroom at a floor...except for two, i didnt see any hikers...its a pretty low season here. Unloaded myself in the room..took a short nap while charging gadgets..i am in love with my ixus 980..it is an awesome camera...oh yes..found a small owlet (not sure which species)..in the dinning area of the teahouse...looks like a family pet..able to fly around in the room and very friendly cute bird... Around 3:30...i set off for a stroll..i went downhill for a short walk and discovered a girls football match going around...got there and looked like the entire village had gathered there..it started raining and everyone ran for cover (including me)...though it stopped raining in few minutes and the game started after few leaders had given some speech and letting some pigeons free ..ironically the pigeons just landed next to him...didnt fly at all...was thinking that they are really free here in this ...

So this is Ep. 10 of my Adventures Nepal ride on my KTM adventure 390.
After completing Mustang circuit i decided to ride to Manang valley which is considered to be one of the most challenging route in Nepal..
We started our ride from Besisahar and covered only 45kms and reached Dharapani because we started our ride late due to unavailabilty of petrol in Besisahar due to some reasons. Roads were too bad and proper offroads..
