In today’s video I’m taking a look at the most beautiful towns in Colorado and the prettiest places to visit. The vast Rocky Mountains draw in visitors looking for a laidback vacation with amazing culture and attractions.
Enjoy a jam-packed day in one of the national parks or ski at one of the largest resorts in the country. Whatever you choose you won’t be disappointed as each of these towns offers stunning views and one-of-a-kind scenery.
Some of the towns on this list are lesser known and include some hidden gems. As a local, I go off the tourist path to find some unique and scenic towns to visit and with little tourist crowds.
From skiing and snowboarding in the winter to hiking, and camping in the summer, outdoor activities are a way of life in Colorado. The Centennial State is an ideal travel destination and one of the best places to visit for outdoor pursuits in every season.

Top 10 Hike in Colorado | Stanley Mountain Trail on Berthoud Pass
7.8.23 (4K) | We headed back to Berthoud Pass (11,306 ft.) to take on another high elevation hike. The Stanley Mountain Trail is a steep and rocky 7.2-mile hike with an elevation gain of nearly 1,800 ft. Once the haze cleared we were rewarded with stunning 360 degree views of the Continental Divide and Winter Park area. This hike definitely makes our top 10 list!

Hiking the Berthoud Pass Trail - Colorado
In early September of 2022 I drove from Denver to Utah and stopped for a quick hike of Berthoud Pass. The hike was 6 miles total and took about 2.5 hours to complete. This was the highest elevation I've ever been to, with the trail toppingout at 12,500 feet. Besides being windy, the weather and views on the trail were perfect. It was a great way to break up a long drive.
