A Bar-le-Duc, le théâtre des « Bleus de Bar », temple oublié du vaudeville et de l'opérette, espère renaître de ses cendres grâce au Loto du Patrimoine.

En 2018, le sauvetage du patrimoine passera par la Française des jeux. Le 3 septembre prochain seront mis en vente 12 millions de tickets d’un nouveau jeu de grattage portant l’effigie des sites emblématiques de la mission Bern « Patrimoine en péril ! ». Le 14 septembre, à la veille du week-end des journées du Patrimoine, sera organisé le tirage d’un super loto doté d’un jackpot exceptionnel de 13 millions d’euros. Les recettes cumulées (estimées entre 15 et 20 millions d’euros) seront affectées à un fonds géré par la Fondation du patrimoine pour financer en priorité les projets de restauration et de valorisation de 18 monuments.

If you are a fan of blues, ragtime and New Orleans, Paris has plenty of jazz hotspots, such as clubs concert venues and bars for music lovers starting with the Duc des Lombards where you can listen to original musicians in a cosy place.
If you're looking for traditional jazz, visit the legendary Caveau de la Huchette a club famous for hosting jazz musicians such as Lionel Hampton or Rhoda Scott. You can also go to the Jazz Club Etoile, another mythical scene in Paris that usually welcomes big names in jazz, blues, soul, funk but also World music.
Finally , if you want to listen to current jazz, the Sunset-Sunside is a reference jazz club in the City of Light which features 2 venues : an electric jazz and world music at the basement and an acoustic jazz club at the first floor. In the same style, the New Morning where biggest names like Miles Davis, Prince and Chef Baker played, offers jazz and world music acts of good quality.
