Trip to Balangir (Patnagarah Bus Stand to Harishankar )--
At first, we reached at Sambalpur Station and then we travelled to Patnagarah. from Patnagarh bus stand .Form that bus stand we took a bus to khaprakhol, from khaprakhol road we hired a four wheeler and reached at Harishankar(Gobardhan Parvat).
HARISHANKAR which is Situated in Balangir District 402 Km Away from State capital Bhubaneswar and only 40km away from Patnagrah via khaprakhol road of Odisha.
You can enjoy the nature and see two Hindu lords, Vishnu and Shiva.
The temple was constructed by the order of then queen Durlabha Devi of Maharaja Vaijjal Dev Chauhan.
This mythological place is on the slopes of Gandhamardhan hills.... Yeh Wahi Parbat hai jiska warnan Ramayan Main hai...
According to mythology,
Lord Hanuman carried Gandhamardhan Parbat on his shoulders from the Himalayas to save the life of Lakshman during Ram Ravan Fight.
You can find Nrusinghanath Temple On the opposite of side of the Gandhamardhan hills.
Inside the Temple Campus, a Huge Hanuman Statue is there.
Outside of the Temple Near WaterFall an open Siva temple with Siva linga is present for Visitors.
This dancing Ganesha Statue has been found, which can be traced to the early 12th century according to Wikipedia.
Harishankar is a tourist attraction spot because of beautiful waterfall and temples.
After all, you can have the prasad of Harishankar only at @45 Rupies in the Temple Varanda.
The waterfall is the main attraction of Harishankar.
In winter especially during Christmas and new year, people are coming here to enjoy the beauty of nature.
You can spend your time in this beautiful place but with care.
Hygenic Fresh Fruits are also available for bhog or to taste.
This is all about Sri Harishankar Devasthana
And waterfall near it.
Then we reached at patnagarh bus stand, and had tea there. After that we had our dinner (roti and chana masala).
The famous and best #LaxmiPuja wea going on.We enjoyed a lot and then visited to patneswari temple and samaleswari temple balangir.

This video is information about the harisankar temple and Waterfall which is situated in the Khaprakhol block of Balangir district of Odisha.
Amidst picturesque landscape of the southern slope of Gandhamardan hill stands harisankar, a place of pilgrimage with uncommon scenic charms. A perennial stream bursting into droplets rushes on it's hard granite bed to form cascades at different stages. As a cool resort in the lap of nature, Harisankar is a ideal place for heat of the Summer season.
A cool bath on sliding on the streaming rocks brings the visitors uncommon happiness. It is believed that one can refrain from all his skins with having a bath in the stream and worship the lord harisankar for which the devotees from various part of the country come here to fulfill their wishes. Harisankar as a amazing variety of flora and fauna. A deer park adjoining to the Gandhamardan hill is of huge tourists importants. Tourists from far-flung places flock to harisankar on the occasion of Baishakha mela. It is also a very popular picnic spot. Tourist can stay in the panthanivas to enjoy the picturesque scenic beauty of Harisankar.
On the Northern slope of the Gandhamardan hills lies Nrusimhanath in Bargarh District. Both the places are connected by a hilltop road of 16 km distance.The pilgrims cover this distance within a day on foot during Nrusingha Chaturdasi mela. Mountain trekkers and adventurists also find the Journey an interesting one. Harisankar is connected by all weather good motorable road 81 km away from Balangir. Regular bus services operate to and from Balangir. But visitors are advised to take their own transport from Balangir.

Hotel Uphar Palace: Service of the hotel was average , though i had dinner at this hotel but did not shoot it, i found the dinner also to be average, in fact staff hospitality was below average.
Though room was fine and the tariff that we got was really good, bottomline we stayed near the heart of the city and got a decent tariff..
