10 Best Places to Visit in the Philippines In March & April
#philippines
Welcome to Sunrise Trip Due to its more than 7,000 islands, the Philippines is a place that is simple to visit more than once. Choosing which locations to visit first is the hardest choice a traveler has to make. The three main island groups of the Philippines—Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao—represent various geographical regions. Every region of the Philippines has a different landscape, from mountainous and tropical to urban. You may spend the day strolling around Manila's colonial past or visit a private sanctuary on the island of Bohol to get a rare view of small tarsier monkeys. Hiking in the rugged, beautiful mountains is an unforgettable experience. Given that the Pacific Ocean surrounds you, it is not unexpected that the Philippines has some of the best beaches in Asia and offers excellent scuba diving options. With this list of the top destinations in the Philippines, you can organize your vacation around this tropical island nation. 10. Baguio On the island of Luzon, the city of Baguio lies tucked away in a mountainous area. Although being a city, Baguio is small and has a cottage-like atmosphere. Because of the dense pine forests and milder temperatures that surround it, Baguio is known as the City of Pines. You may take in a round of golf at one of the resorts nearby or explore one of the many hiking and biking paths in the region. Unlike other tourist attractions in the Philippines, Baguio is surrounded by trees rather than the sea.. Several of the shipwrecks that have been preserved are found in waters that range in depth from three meters in shallow water to 42 meters in the deep sea. Due to their vastness, some of the wrecks require more than one dive to examine, but you may easily spend a week diving here. Check to visit Barracuda Lake, a former volcano with many interesting rock formations and fish, for diving that isn't on a shipwreck. 8. Sagada In the northern tribal region of Sagada, the Philippines, you can have one of the most distinctive experiences. Tribes that welcome passing travelers can be found nestled in the untamed and isolated Cordillera Mountains. The advanced outdoor enthusiast would love this place. The difficulty and thrill level needed for outdoor adventure are increased by the steep mountains and high heights. In Sagada, hiking is a favorite activity, especially to the highest peak in the area, Mount Ampaco, or through the difficult Echo Valley. The hanging coffins that are hidden deep in the mountains in this part of the Philippines are one of the best sites to visit. Since this is not a tourist destination but rather a true tribal region hiding an experience deserving of bragging rights, it is necessary to connect with a local guide who can take you to this amazing spot. 7. Davao City Go to Davao City, which has a sizable metro area, for a city atmosphere away from Manila. The largest city in the Mindanao area of the southern Philippines is Davao City. Davao City has several natural characteristics, such as the Eden Nature Park, Philippine Eagle Center, and the Davao Baywalk near the sea, despite its malls and substantial population. Mount Apo, the tallest mountain in the Philippines, is one of the top locations to visit in Davao City. Due to the presence of several sizable malls, such as Abreeza Mall and SM Lanang Premier Mall, Davao City is a great place to go shopping. The modest Davao Museum of History and Ethnography is worth a visit for a glimpse into the history and culture of Davao City. 6. Manila The island of Luzon, the Philippine nation's capital city of Manila is a hive of constant activity. While visiting Manila's top attractions, climb aboard one of the vibrant jeepneys, the city's primary mode of public transportation, to experience local life. One of the joys of your trip will be the bumpy journey through the streets on the iconic and tacky jeep/bus hybrid vehicles, which are typically crammed with residents. Make plans to see the city's biggest park, Rizal Park, and the 16th-century San Agustin Church. The public market at Quiapo Church is where you can buy fresh produce and handcrafted itemsthousands of people probably attend services there.

Tagaytay Philippines Sky Park Taal lake & Volcano (Best day trips from Manila)
Daytrip to Batangas and Tagaytay Philippines to visit the People's park in the sky. Near the Taal lake and Taal volcano. A popular destination in the highlands outside Metro Manila. Nice spot, very comfortable temperatures, nice restaurant, cool t-shirts and souvenirs - And fantastic views of Taal lake and the volcano before the 2020 eruption in the PDZ (Permanent danger zone).
The People's Park in the Sky also known as the People's Park (or the sky park) is at the top of the 2,500 ft Mount Gonzales. Considered a historical location. The park is basically an incomplete mansion, known as the Palace in the Sky. This was constructed during the Marcos Era. There is also a a Shrine located here of Our Lady, Mother of Fair Love, and a doppler weather radar station maintained by (PAGASA)

Manila Clock Tower Museum. How to get there, what to see and do. Mayor for a day.
There's a new museum in the Metro, and it's located at the Clock Tower of Manila City Hall.
The clock tower, designed by Antonio Toledo, was completed during the 1930s, and is the largest clock tower in the Philippines, reaching close to 100 feet (30 m) in elevation. It stands out during nighttime when the whole of the tower lights up.
In 2013, the clocks have been upgraded and digitalized so that it will always be synchronized with the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) for Philippine Standard Time.
Recently, the clock tower has been converted into an art gallery and a museum.
Find out how to book an appointment, how to get there, and what to see and do during the visit.

Dugyot no more! The last time I went to Manila was three years ago when I took the plane to Ninoy Aquino International Airport for Taiwan. To my astonishment last week, Manila has indeed changed big time and noticeably. Due to the efforts made by Isko Moreno Domagoso - Manila's City Mayor now running for Philippine Presidency, Manila has transformed from then stinky, dirty, and disorderly to now clean, organized, and systematic New Manila. There is still a lot to improve but the city truly deserves its now tagline ''Ang Bagong Maynila''!
Moreno cleared the chaotic Manila's large commercial district, Divisoria where roads and spaces in the vicinity were previously packed with street vendors. He also did clear-up operations in the heavily congested Recto, Juan Luna, and Quiapo. The underpass connecting Intramuros and Manila City Hall also called Lagunsilad was also rehabilitated and has become a tourist spot due to its appealing murals and well-lit pass.
My short side trip in Manila as I really took a vacation in Tagaytay was truly an amazing experience. I stayed in Binondo, Manila's China Town and the food was really great. I was also able to witness the opening of the new bridge that connects Intramuros to Binondo. I hope that Manila's pressing woes continue to be addressed as the city's cultural heritage is vast in history that tourists and locals deserve to grasp.
Have you gone to Ang Bagong Maynila? Share your experiences; let me know in the comment section.
