The Best Gelato in Italy Ep. 1 - Rovigo, Veneto
I've set out on a mission to find the best gelato in Italy. But first I thought it would be best to start out with the small city I now call home, Rovigo in the Veneto region of Italy. Rovigo Italy is a small city but with plenty of options to check out when it comes to gelato. In the first of this series, I'll be going around town to try and find which one I like most. In this video, we'll also briefly cover how to order gelato in Italian / how to order gelato in Italy, but as time goes on we'll talk about more flavors.

Badia Berardenga Castle, Castelnuovo Berardenga, Siena, Tuscany, Italy, Europe
Founded in 867 by Wiginisio, comes from Siena (count of Siena), forefather of the family of Salic origin later called Berardenga or Berardenghi, in the nineteenth century it was transformed into a villa. The church has a Latin cross plan, with a short-developed nave, because it was shortened to create direct access to the cloister. Originally the façade stood at the high bell tower, one of the most beautiful in the Siena area. The presbytery preserves the Romanesque features, with the transept arms covered with crosses, the semicircular apse and the elliptical dome protected externally by an octagonal lantern. The plastic of the capitals, the external decoration of blind arches, the presence of rhombuses and molded rounds, a hint of two-tone denounce a Pisan influence. The crypt, which belonged to a previous building, appears older than the church.
