In search of an UNEXPLORED HISTORICAL place in BIRPUR | MAHARANI CHARKI MAHAL | RADHA KRISHNA MANDIR
IN SEARCH OF AN UNEXPLORED HISTORICAL PLACE IN BIRPUR.
The Maharani Charaki Mahal, Radha Krishna Mandir, the Shiv Mandir & the Tank (Talab) at Birpur are the monuments that belong to Maharaja Pratap Sing’s era but not many know about it. I had just heard about this place & I started feeling an urge to go there to explore it but before that I tried to search about it on internet. I didn’t find much so I finally left Jammu city on my Activa with whatever meager information I had gathered. As I was totally unaware of the area so it took a while longer to reach there. Though it was a bit difficult reaching there as I lost my way but I managed to locate the place.
Birpur is about 15Km from Jammu City & reaching there isn’t difficult if one knows about the route. I will give the coordinates of this UNEXPLORED HISTORICAL place in my next video. As already mentioned the place is in BIRPUR village (in Tehsil: Bari Brahmana, District: Samba in Jammu Province of J&K, India.
IN THIS VISEO:
You can call this video as an EXPLORATORY TRAVEL VLOG or a MOTOVLOGGING VIDEO 😊. I’ve started my journey from outside City Square Mall near Dogra Chowk in Jammu City & travelled towards Birpur via Gijjar Nagar Bridge to NH 44 Bypass. Then I took main NH 44 & reached Bari Brahmana, where I found that I had taken a wrong turn. So I returned to Purmandal Mod & took Purmandal Road to reach my destination.
My next few videos will be about my travel to this LITTLE KNOWN HISTORICAL PLACE (the RANI CHARAKI MAHAL, Radha Krishn temple) & few other spots like Data Ranpat Dev Ji asthapan in Birpur village. Do watch the full series.

EXPLORING LEAST KNOWN HISTORICAL PLACE of JAMMU the MAHARANI CHARKI MAHAL, RADHA KRISHNA MANDIR & SHIV MANDIR at BIRPUR.
In my previous full length video I travelled about 15 Km from Jammu City to Birpur village in Tehsil Bari Brahmana, District Samba in search of a least known historical place of Jammu. Its MAHARANI CHARAKI MAHAL complex which houses Shri RADHA KRISHNA MANDIR, a SHIV MANDIR, MAHARANI CHARAKI’s small PALACE & a tank/pond (Talab, तालाब).

I FOUND A TOTALLY UNKNOWN HISTORICAL PLACE 😊
It could be said that 👉 I FOUND A COMPLETELY UNKNOWN HISTORICAL PLACE 😊 as most don’t know about it. Few who know about it are the people who live near it.
I went from Jammu City to Birpur a village about 15 Km away in Tehsil Bari Brahmana, District Samba, on my Activa. I lost my way but I managed to locate the place, though with difficulty. I was totally unaware of the area so it took a while to reach there. My next few videos will be about my travel to this LITTLE KNOWN HISTORICAL PLACE (the RANI CHARAKI MAHAL, Radha Krishn temple) & few other spots. यह कहा जा सकता है कि मुझे एक एकदम अज्ञात ऐतिहासिक स्थान मिला 😊 क्योंकि ज़्यादातर लोगों को इसके बारे में जानकारी नहीं हैं। वह इसके बारे में जानते ही नहीं हैं। इसके बारे में जानने वाले कम ही लोग हैं जो इसके पास रहते हैं।
मैं अपनी एक्टिवा पर जम्मू शहर से लगभग 15 किलोमीटर दूर बीरपुर गाँव गया था जो जिला सांबा के तहसील बारी ब्राह्मणा में हैं। मैं रास्ता भटक गया था लेकिन मैं उस जगह का पता लगाने में कामयाब रहा पर थोड़ा मुश्किल से। मैं उस इलाके से पूरी तरह अनजान था इसलिए वहाँ पहुँचने में थोड़ा समय लगा। मेरे अगले कुछ वीडियो इस ऐतिहासिक जगह (यानी महारानी चारक महल, राधा कृष्ण मंदिर) और कुछ और जगहों की मेरी यात्रा के बारे में होंगे। इस छोटे से वीडियो में मैं महारानी चारकी महल के तालाब पर हूँ। बीरपुर गांव में मेरे अन्वेषण के बारे में वीडियो की पूरी श्रृंखला ज़रूर देखें।

EXPLORING LEAST KNOWN HISTORICAL PLACE of JAMMU province the MAHARANI CHARKI MAHAL, RADHA KRISHNA MANDIR & SHIV MANDIR at BIRPUR (बीरपुर में महारानी चाडकी का महल, राधा कृष्ण मंदिर और शिव मंदिर).
In my last few videos I have been posting my travel to Birpur. Birpur is a village in Tehsil: Bari Brahmana, District: Samba in Jammu Province of J&K, India. I travelled on my Honda Activa Scooter from Jammu city to reach there as I was in search of a least know historical place of Jammu province, the MAHARANI CHARKI MAHAL. It’s only about 15 Km from Jammu city but unknown to most. The complex was constructed by Dogra Maharaja Pratap Sing of J&K for his 3rd wife Rani Charaki. Maharaja Pratap Sing reigned from 1885 to 1925 & it is said that he had five wives & Rani Charki was his favorite. Though maharaja married five times but he had no issue but in November 1904 Maharani Charki gave birth to a male child who was named Kashmir Singh but the child died in July 1905.
On reaching there I could see Maharani Charaki’s Tank/pond (Talab, तालाब). Entering the premises was a nice experience as I could see a temple which is about 110 year old. The place is very serene. Birds were chirruping & tweeting all around though most of them weren’t visible 😊. Though the palace isn’t big but historical it is. It is said that Rani Charika was a shepherd girl of this locality so the palace complex was built for her over here.
In my previous video I took you to MAHARANI CHARAKI’s RADHA KRISHNA TEMPLE & her SHIV MANDIR. In this video you will see her small palace & the adjoining tank/Talab.
