Damodar Kund Water Reserve might not be among the famous places in Junagadh, but it is certainly a spot to visit for those who wish to get off the beaten path. Sitting on the foothills of the famous and much-talked Girnar Mountain, Damodar Water Reserve is tagged as holy by virtue of the several myths and legends that have been attached to this spot over the course of time.
2. Bhavnath Temple - 0:23
Bhavnath Temple in Junagadh is dedicated to Lord Shiva. The Shivling here is said to have emerged of its own divine intention. The Bhavnath Mahadev temple existence dates back to the ancient era and its story is found in the Puranic era.

Navghan Kuwo and Adi-kadi Vav are two wells. These wells are very steep and are situated inside the Uperkot fort. The thing that separates these wells from most of the wells is that normally wells are dug in the ground by removing soul, stones, etc.

Sakkarbaug Zoological Garden is also known as the Junagadh zoo as well as Sakkarbaug zoo or Sakkarbaug and is one of the most popular places to visit in Junagadh with kids. It is spread over a large piece of land.

This vlog is about Osam hill near Patanvav has been identified by Gujarat government as a tourist place. Tourism Minister Saurabh Patel on Monday visited the place and
declared state government’s wish to develop Osam hill as a place of tourist attraction on date August 27, 2013.
Lesser know Osam hill is located on north west side of Girnar hill. It is believed that Osam was located next to ancient route to Dwarka. Gujarat’s one of the most
successful kings Patan based Siddha raj Jaysinh’s mother Minaldevi built Pataneshwar mahadev mandir and stepwell here during her pilgrimage to Somnath. The place then
became famous as Patanvav.
Dhank’s ruler Patansinh Vala and Junagadh’s Ra were regular visitors to this place. Present version of Patanvav was established by Vagha Darji in samvat 1802. Patanvav
was border village of former Gondal state. Gondal’s then ruler Shri Bhagwatsinh had built a security post with telephone at Patanvav.
Locals believe that Mahabharat’s Hidimba and her brother Hidamb were living in Hidamb forest located around Osam hill.

1. Girnar Hills - we took ropeway to reach Ambaji temple and then for onwards journey we did trek.
2.Modern lassi - We enjoyed Mango lassi at this shop.
3. Willingdon Dam - This is a lovely place you must visit if you are at Junagadh, go there in evening time.
4. Ashok shilla lekh - Rock edicts

6. Bhavnath Taleti - very old and popular temple of Junagadh.
6. Kava stall - During winters you will see many kava stall near Bhavnath Taleti, we liked the kava at a stall.
7. Patel restaurant - we had Kumbhkaran thali, perhaps for the first time in my life i tried something that big, i had it with my team.

Willingdon dam junagadh is built on the river kalwa at the foot of the hill from where it originates. Willingdon dam was built asvavreservoir for drinking water for the people of junagadh. It was named after Lord willingdon, the then governor of India. Near the dam steps go up to 2779 ft (847 mt) high to famous shrine of jamiyal shah datar, where both hindu and Muslim devotees share their faith. Willingdon dam gives a pretty look of girnar hills, a must visit place with your family and friends. Here you can enjoy one day picnic also. And one more thing there is no entry fee for the same.
