Ústí nad Labem is a city in the Czech Republic. It has about 92,000 inhabitants and is the capital of the Ústí nad Labem Region. It is a major industrial centre and, besides being an active river port, is an important railway junction - Wikipedia

Ústí nad Labem is a city in the Czech Republic near Děčín and the border region of Bad Schandau / Germany . With about 92,000 inhabitants it is an important railway junction with the train connection Dresden - Prague, as well as having an active river port.
We start our tour of this city at the train station, walk to the city center. Our tour checks out a few parks on our way around Usti nad Labem. The city is rather quiet as a music festival appears to take place in Park Republiky.
From the Masarykova street we head back into the direction of the train station, see a few churches along mostly empty streets. A thunderstorm is brewing so we get to see the Bílina river and Elbe river which leads us back to the train station, right where we started.

Šajā apmeklējām Adršpahas klintis, kas ir augsti, neparasti smilšakmens veidojumi, kas atrodas starp pārgājienu takām, mežiem un gar lielu ezeru. Patiešām interesanta vieta, ņemot vērā, ka neko tamlīdzīgu Latvijā nav iespējams pat redzēt.
Takas šajā teritorijā iet gan no Andršpach puses, gan no Teplices puses, kas esot mazāk tūristīga un arī ieejas biļetes esot lētākas.
pēc 2 ļoti lietainām un dubļainām dienām mūsu kempingā, saprātām, ka vairs nespējam to izturēt. Jau pustumsā un krēslā sacīju vīram, ka vācamies nost un laižam tālāk! trešo nakti, lai arī jau samaksātu kempingā, vēl gulēt aukstumā un mitrumā es nevēlos. Samīcījām dubļaino telti auto un mukām prom.
Devāmies uz pilsētu Hradec Kralove. Šeit mums bija sarunātas bezmaksas naktsmājas vienā studentu dzīvoklītī, kur kādreiz dzīvojusi mana māsa.
ieradāmies vēlu vakarā un vismaz bijām sausumā un siltumā :)
turpmākās 4 dienas veltījām pilsētas un tuvākās apkārtnes apskatei.
lietus beidzot sāka rimties un atgriezās saule un kaut nedaudz vasaras siltumiņš.

The end of summer is a great time to visit, I usually stay for at least a couple weeks to get out of the Arizona heat. I brought my Mavic with me this time to get some shots of the scenery on my trips around CZ. I admit I have a mild fascination with hay bales ;)
Shot around Prague, at Lipno, the Amerika quarry near Karlstejn, Zebrak/Tocnik ruins and a couple other spots.. edited in 4K/30fps.

Prague main railway station (Czech: Praha hlavní nádraží, abbreviated Praha hl.n) is the largest and most important railway station in Prague in the Czech Republic. It was originally opened in 1871 and named Franz Josef Station after Franz Joseph I of Austria. During the First Republic and from 1945 to 1953 the station was called Wilson Station (Czech: 'Wilsonovo nádraží') after former President of the United States, Woodrow Wilson. His statue stood in the park in front of the station before being torn down by German authorities when the U.S. entered the war in 1941. A new statue of Wilson was installed in 2012. In 2010, the station served 132,560 trains and 22 million passengers.
The Art Nouveau station building and station hall were built between 1901 and 1909, designed by Czech architect, Josef Fanta, on the site of the old dismantled Neo-Renaissance station. The station was extended by a new terminal building, built between 1972 and 1979, including an underground station and a main road on the roof of the terminal. The new terminal building claimed a large part of the park, and the construction of the road cut off the neo-renaissance station hall from the town. In 2011 a refurbishment of the station was completed by Italian company Grandi Stazioni, which has leased retail space for 30 years from 2002.
