Mitte Waterfalls Most Beautiful Tourist Place In Asifabad Dist. | Explain In Hindi | Koshish Expl
In terms of pristine natural beauty, the Saptagundala waterfalls in Pittalaguda village of Lingalapur mandal surpasses the other waterfalls of Telangana—Kuntala and Pochera waterfalls. In fact, it comprises not just one but seven waterfalls, hence the name Saptagundala. The waterfall, which is 100 km away from Asifabad, is nestled between tall hills on one side and dense forests on the other, the Saptagundala waterfalls also known as Mitta waterfalls is tucked far away from civilisation.There are no proper roads to reach the nature’s beauty.
One has to trek rough and uneven terrain for a distance of three kilometres to reach the spot.A tourist from Jainoor, Ravinder, said that the difficulties encountered in reaching the natural beauty by trekking will soon be forgotten upon seeing nature’s splendour. Of the seven, the most important waterfalls is Pedda Jalapatam. It appears as though the skies have opened up leading to majestic descent of a huge stream of milk.
A wave of relaxation sweeps through the people’s minds once they watch the waterfall’s magic.The rhythmic sound of the waterfalls is sonorous to the ears of the tourists, who are overwhelmed with its beauty, take shower under it.People forget their worries and indulge in capturing the nature’s beauty with their cameras if not a selfie or two.
The waterfall descends gracefully from a height on the stone slabs below. The water gets emptied into a valley which is at least 100 metres below. The natural stone slabs remind us of ancient stepwells of past rulers. A stream runs swiftly from the landing point of the water from a great height.
Some of the seven waterfalls have been named after Lord Rama, Goddess Sita and Bheema. Idol of Bheema was located at the place. Annually, tribals celebrate two fairs in reverence to their deity Bheema. They believe that Bheema went around the place and hence believe that the stone slabs carry foot impressions of the deity.

Exploration Trip to Mitte Waterfalls, Adilabad
Saptagundalu waterfalls(also known as Mitte waterfalls by local people.) is located in Sirpur(U) mandal near pittaguda village inside jungle. As the name says, these are 7 waterfalls spread in a distance over 15Kms and only 3 waterfalls out of 7 are accessible on Foot. One has to trek for about 3-4 Kms into jungle to visit these magnificent waterfalls.
A pleasant road trip will take you to one of the most amazing place called on Mitte waterfall located in Asifabad Dist, Telangana State. The waterfall is a two-kilometre hike from Pittaguda village. The roads are excellent, so if you’re planning a road trip, rest assured that it would be pleasant.
This is an adventurous destination for youngsters and nature lovers.
Mitte waterfalls, is also known as Sapthadundalu (7 waterfalls naturally formed one after the other). It is a 2-km hike from the Pittaguda village. As the name goes by, there are 7 waterfalls that are spread over 15 kms. Of 7 falls, only 5 are accessible that too on foot. One has to walk about 8 kms into jungle to visit these magnificent waterfalls waterfall, especially a series of small falls, consisting of water descending over rocks or boulders that sprays a mist in the entire area as it drops from its great height.
Only few people explored such splendid falls so far. And you can be one of them. If you are exploring more than 2 waterfalls then it’s always suggestible to have experts with you and carrying technical gear.
To explore, one has to cross a small stream and walk through agricultural fields to reach the waterfalls. This would challenge both mentally and physically. It is difficult to hike as the terrain gets slippery and tougher by each step especially in rainy season.

- kollegam To Gadar Loddi Waterfalls There is No Roads, So we have to go by walk to Gadar Loddi waterfalls through Forest. 4-5 kms to reach the waterfall by crossing Three Rivers and climbing over one hill.

The Mitte waterfall has been ignored by the tourism department, otherwise it would have become one of the best tourist attractions in Telangana. Mitte waterfall is located near Pittaguda village in Lingapur mandal in Kumarambheem Asifabad district. However, it is extremely difficult to reach by tourists. This is the best time of year to see the Mitte waterfall. During the heavy rains, a thick cascading waterfall has formed, spraying a mist over the entire area.
There is a picturesque waterfall called Middle or Sapthagundala Waterfall in Lingapur mandal that attracts visitors and nature lovers from all over Telangana. The entire waterfall area is dotted with makeshift tents at weekends with people camping in the area. Recent increases in visitor numbers are attributed to the area's serenity and magnificence.
A popular tourist attraction in Kumram Bheem Asifabad district, the waterfall is located about 70 kilometers from the district headquarters. Located along the stream and deep in the dense forest of the district, it is a series of five waterfalls. It wasn't explored by nature lovers until 2015. Yet it has now become everyone's favorite destination.
