We’re Doug and Jamie - an aussie / american couple who love adventures, good food and exploring new places. For the past few years we have be using what we’ve had to explore more of Australia - which wasn’t much. But in 2020 we upgraded Doug’s work van and it now doubles as our home on wheels part time. 2022 was the year we decided it needed a makeover so we jumped into a big van build series over the winter, ready to hit spring in our new setup! Our hope for this channel is to grow a community of likeminded people and to inspire others to jump in the drivers seat of their own life (pun intended) and create their own magic. And after surviving life in one of the most lockdown cities in the world the last few years, we are back in action ready to share our adventures!

Parks in Minnesota Ep 10 | Hidden Falls Regional Park
One of the few man-made falls we'll be exploring. Hidden Falls is 15 minutes (7.2 miles) from Saint Paul and 20 minutes (7.6 miles) from Minneapolis. Hidden Falls is a beautiful place to watch boats go down the Mississippi River, have picnics either on a picnic table or on the grass, go for a walk, and many more.
Hidden Falls is the busiest from May to October. The water flows best after snowmelt and heavy rainfalls. The best time to go is in the colder seasons, rainy days, or early in the morning. The park is friendly for all ages and stroller-friendly.

Brunswick Town and Fort Anderson Historic Site | NC Weekend | UNC-TV

Parks in Minnesota | Ep 28 | St. Croix Boom Site
I found this hidden gem in 2019 when I was looking for another waterfall in the area. A friend of mine knew about the area but couldn't find how to get to the beach.
This little location has a lot of history and when you come here you would have never thought it would.
The hike is intense and highly recommend wearing shoes with good grip since it's mostly sand and dirt plus lots of claiming up and down. Personally don't recommend it for small kids.
Boom Site is 27 minutes (24.7 miles) and 35 minutes (29.5 miles) from downtown Minneapolis.
Some other parks in the area are Arcola Bluffs Day Use (5min), Marine Mill (11min), Willow River State Park (21min), Lake Elmo Park (21min), Cascade Falls (23min), and Tamarack Nature Center (23min)
The closest places to eat will be in Stillwater. Freight House, Nacho Mamas, The Wild Hare, P D Pappy's, Papa's, Leo's Grill & Malt Shop, and Mad Capper Saloon & Eatery.

00:00- INTRO* Like you saw in my last video, Gig Harbor is a nice little city so let’s explore more of the Waterfront & find out some hidden gems. So stay tuned only on the Epic Travel Adventures.
00:45 – Gig Harbor a small 6 sq mi city of about 11 K people is one of the safest in Washington State. With great schools, fine dining and beautiful views it is no surprise that it grows by 2.8% annually making it 81st largest city in the state.
01:03 – On the Harborview Dr. you will see the “NetShed No. 9” - a highly rated American style restaurant with amazing bay views and scrumptious food.
01:54 – If you haven’t already noticed, the city is surrounded by lots of water which is why there are lots of docks and boats everywhere. Since it does rain off season, you will see lots of people out and about enjoying the Sun in this beautiful PNW.
04:14 – Gig Harbor is located about 45 minutes South of Seattle. As you can see the Puget Sound surrounds a lot of neighboring cities. The red “you are here” dot is our current location.
04:47 – This “Ship to Shore Marine & Kayak” shop specializes in high performance Eddyline Kayaks and paddleboards. They also sell maintenance supplies, souvenirs and even snacks.
06:40 – The “Ancich Waterfront Park” is an open space park with tables, grass, and a beach access. Here you can also utilize the kayak and canoe storage facility.
11:32 – Gig Harbor is one of the top 10 places to retire based on factors such as tax-friendliness, medical care, and social opportunities for seniors.
11:43 – The “Eddon Boat Park” you see here is about 2.9 acre historic boatyard site which was acquired by the city in 2004. The boatyard itself was constructed in the 20th century with the brickhouse on the left constructed in 1946. Eddon Boat is the last known facility of its type on the West Coast and as a result it is on the city’s historic places registry.
13:36 PREVIEW* - Next, let’s look at the city of Gig Harbor, feel the atmosphere and enjoy our exploration. Don’t miss it, ONLY on the Epic Travel Adventures.

Parks in Minnesota |Ep 24 | Battle Creek Regional Park
Battle Creek was a beautiful park to explore. I'm surprised I haven't been here sooner. There are so many different trails to explore and I can not wait to explore them all in different seasons.
Here are some parks that are nearby Battle Creek:
Indian Mounds (an overlook downtown Saint Paul is also a perfect place to watch the sunset), Maplewood Nature Center, Lake Elmo Park Reserve, Tamarack Nature Preserve, and Carver Lake Park and Beach.
Some places to eat nearby are:
The Tavern Gill, Green Mill Restaurant and Grill, Thai Pepper, Las Islas, and The Fireside Lounge Bar and Restaurant.
Battle Creek is 5 minutes (4.5 miles) from downtown Saint Paul and 17 minutes (14.1 miles) from downtown Minneapolis.

Parks in Minnesota | Ep 30 | Munsinger Garden and Clemens Garden
I was surprised to see how big this garden was when we pulled up. In June I did a photo shoot with Kaylee and we were trying to find a garden to do the shoot at. I wanted to come here but the garden was too long of a drive so we decided on the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum instead.
The garden is a 1hr 18min (78.7 mile) drive from Saint Paul and a 1hr 4min (66.1 mile) drive from Minneapolis.
Parks close to the garden (some of these are the same parks we went to on this day):
Barden Park (3min), George Friedrich Park (4min), Sand Prairie Wildlife Management Area (7min), Heritage Park (9min), Sauk River Regional Park (13min), and Quarry Park and Nature Preserve (14min).
Places to eat around the area are:
Olive Garden, The White Horse Restaurant & Bar, Green Mill Restaurant & Bar, Applebee's Grill & Bar, Five Guys, Chick-Fill-A, Burger King, Noodles and Company, Wendy's, and Culver's.
Vlog Channel: Saint Cloud Vlog will be live on Aug 13th at 6:30pm

Places to see in ( Raleigh - USA )
Places to see in ( Raleigh - USA )
Raleigh is the capital city of North Carolina. It’s known for its universities, including North Carolina State University. The number of technology and scholarly institutions around Raleigh, Chapel Hill and Durham make the area known as the Research Triangle. The North Carolina State Capitol is a 19th-century Greek Revival–style building with a statue of George Washington dressed as a Roman general in its rotunda.
Raleigh Neighborhoods such as :
Boylan Heights
Cameron Park
Five Points
Glenwood/Brooklyn
Oakwood
Mordecai
The downtown area is home to historic buildings such as the Sir Walter Raleigh Hotel built in the early 20th century, the restored City Market, the Fayetteville Street downtown business district, which includes the PNC Plaza and Wells Fargo Capitol Center buildings, as well as the North Carolina Museum of History, North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences, North Carolina State Capitol, William Peace University, the City of Raleigh Museum, Raleigh Convention Center, Shaw University, Campbell University School of Law, and St. Augustine's College. In the 2000s, an effort by the Downtown Raleigh Alliance was made to separate this area of the city into five smaller districts: Fayetteville Street, Moore Square, Glenwood South, Warehouse (Raleigh), and Capital District (Raleigh). Some of the names have become common place among locals such as the Warehouse, Fayetteville Street, and Glenwood South Districts.
The Inside the Beltline neighborhoods include Cameron Park, Boylan Heights, Country Club Hills, Coley Forest, Five Points, Budleigh, Glenwood-Brooklyn, Hayes Barton Historic District, Moore Square, Mordecai, Rosengarten Park, Belvidere Park, Woodcrest, Oberlin Village, and Historic Oakwood. Inside the Beltline refers to I-440 which used to be called the Beltline before being re-branded to ease driver navigation. These neighborhoods were typically built before World War II.
Midtown Raleigh is a residential and commercial area just North of the I-440 Beltline and is part of North Raleigh. It is roughly framed by Glenwood/Creedmoor Road to the West, Wake Forest Road to the East, and Millbrook Road to the North. It includes shopping centers such as North Hills and Crabtree Valley Mall. It also includes North Hills Park and part of the Raleigh Greenway System. The term was coined by the Greater Raleigh Chamber of Commerce, developer John Kane and planning director Mitchell Silver. The News & Observer newspaper started using the term for marketing purposes only. The Midtown Raleigh Alliance was founded on July 25, 2011 as a way for community leaders to promote the area.
Southeast Raleigh is bounded by downtown on the west, Garner on the southwest, and rural Wake County to the southeast. The area includes areas along Rock Quarry Road, Poole Road, and New Bern Avenue. Primary neighborhoods include Chastain, Chavis Heights, Raleigh Country Club, Southgate, Kingwood Forest, Rochester Heights, Emerald Village and Biltmore Hills. Coastal Credit Union Music Park (formerly Time Warner Cable Music Pavilion, Alltel Pavilion and Walnut Creek Amphitheatre) is one of the region's major outdoor concert venues and is located on Rock Quarry Road. Shaw University is located in this part of the city.
