Enjoy a jam-packed day in one of the national parks or ski at one of the largest resorts in the country. Whatever you choose you won’t be disappointed as each of these towns offers stunning views and one-of-a-kind scenery.
Some of the towns on this list are lesser known and include some hidden gems. As a local, I go off the tourist path to find some unique and scenic towns to visit and with little tourist crowds.
From skiing and snowboarding in the winter to hiking, and camping in the summer, outdoor activities are a way of life in Colorado. The Centennial State is an ideal travel destination and one of the best places to visit for outdoor pursuits in every season.

We stayed at Headquarters Campground which is walking distance the village of Alma and close to Fundy National Park!! To book Headquarters Campground, you need to book it thru the Parks Canada website. We had a full hookup site at Headquarters!! There are some sites with great views of the Bay of Fundy!! They also have many tent sites, oTENTiks, and Yurts n a wooded area overlooking the Village of Alma and the Bay of Fundy.
