Hello friends, this is my latest VLOG about a very beautiful Turkish coastal town name Cinarcik. Cinarcik is on the coast of the sea of Marmara. It is a 30 minutes ferry ride from Istanbul. Cinarcik is famous for its beaches and laid back lifestyle. We visited this place several times before and fell in love with this place. So we decided to visit this place one more time and luckily we found a place that we felt was the right place for our dream vacation home. History Of ” Yalova “
The history of the city of Yalova goes back to about five thousand years; That is, to the third millennium BC, where it was occupied by the Hittites in 200 BC, followed by the Franks, then the Kimberley, then Roman, the Byzantine, and the Ottoman in 1303 AD. And it was associated with the city Istanbul in 1930 at the behest of the founder of the Republic, Mustafa Kemal Ataturk.
Çınarcık Area

Yalova A City That Has Been Followed By Many Historical Civilizations
History Of Yalova
Historians say that the city of “Yalova” was the home of many civilizations dating back to 3000 BC, and it was also under the rule of the Kingdom of Bitina after it was ruled by the Hittites, Phrygians and Persians for a short period of time.
The Roman and Byzantine Empires the “Yalova” until 1326, and then came the authority of the Ottoman Empire in 1326 and ruled it.
“Yalova” was associated with the city of Istanbul in 1930, at the behest of the founder of the republic, Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, who gave it great importance, even saying, “Yalova is my city.”
According to historical accounts, Yalova was one of the most prominent cities in the time of the Greek Empire, which was named after the city of “Pylae” which means the gates, as it was then an important passage to the Asian continent by crossing the Marmara Sea from Europe.
In the history of modern Turkey, Yalova was one of the favorite cities of Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, where he spent the last years of his life in this city. In 1995, Yalova was separated from Istanbul, to join the list of the 81 Turkish states.
The Romans occupied the area in 74 BC, and after the fall of the Roman Empire, the city was part of the Byzantine Empire.
In ancient times and in most of the Middle Ages, the city was known as Pylae or Pylai and in Greek it was called Bithynia, a Greek word meaning “gates”, as it was at the beginning of one of the main routes to Asia for those who crossed the Sea of Marmara from Europe.
Other historians mentioned that the city had special strategic importance in the Byzantine period, due to its geographical location, as the “emperors” used it as a disembarkation point from “Constantinople”.
In this context, historians pointed out that Emperor Heraclius landed there in 622, at the beginning of his counterattack against the Persians, as Romanos IV Diogenes did the same in 1071, on his way to the Battle of Manzikert.
In the ninth century, as documented by historians, “Yalova” was the site of one of the lighthouses that carried news from the border with the Abbasid Caliphate, and included an imperial inn for travelers.
Yalova was incorporated into the territory of the Ottoman Empire, was part of Sancak Kocaeli, and was known respectively as Yalakabad and Yalova.
According to the Ottoman population statistics in 1914, the total population of Yalova was 21,532, of whom 10,274 were Greeks, 7,954 were Muslims, and 3,304 were Armenians.
On September 5, 1920, the Greek forces occupied Yalova during the Turkish War of Independence. During the period of their occupation of the city, the Greek forces committed massacres on the Yalova peninsula.
The Greek forces, which were stationed in the areas of “Ada Pazari, Yelwa, Sabanca, Kandera, and Izmit”, began to move initially towards Bursa and later to the “Eskişehir” area after the Greek defeat in the second “İnönü” battle to concentrate forces on the Bursa line – Uşak) and attacking the Turks in Afyonkarahisar, Eskişehir and Kütahya, and the Turkish forces that waited behind the Sakarya River, took advantage of this opportunity and attacked the Greek forces to achieve a crushing victory over them. Adapazari was liberated on June 26, 1921, Izmit on June 28, 1921, and Yalova on July 19, 1921.
After its liberation, Yalova became a district center in Karamursel district of Kocaeli Province, and became a district center in Istanbul Province in 1930, before becoming an independent district (state) in 1995.

Bu Covid-19 salgını günlerinde evlerimizden çıkamazken ve havalar da yavaş yavaş ısınmaya başlarken belki doğa özleminizi gidermeye yardımcı olur umuduyla geçen sene gitmiş olduğum #sudüşen şelalesinin 360 derece video görüntülerini derleyip sanal tur olarak yayınlamak istedim. gidemesek de belki böyle gezerek bir nevi kendimizi avuturuz. Video çok uzun olmasın diye bazı kısımları hızlı geçmek zorunda kaldım. dilerseniz videoyu durdurarak çevreyi inceleyebilir siniz.
Yalova'nın Çınarcık ilçesi ne yakınlığı ile bilinen fakat Bursa İlimiz sınırları içinde bulunan Sudüşen Şelalesi, İstanbul'a yakın sayılan ve gezilip görülmesi gereken sayılı doğal güzelliklerden biridir. Ben Yalova'nın Çınarcık ilçesindeyken gitmiştim. Yarım saatlik bir mesafede. Gidiş ve dönüş yolları virajlı olmasına rağmen gayet rahattı. Kuş cıvıltıları Yemyeşil bir doğa ve ferahlatıcı şırıltısıyla Sudüşen şelalesi. Ben hafta içi bir gün gitmiştim ve çok sakindi. Şu virüs salgını geçtikten sonra gitmeyi dşünürseniz eğere klınızda olsun hafta sonu mutlaka belli bir kalabalık oluyordur. En azından erken gitmeye çalışın. Keyifli seyirler
Bu arada Otopark sorunu yok. Girişte geniş bir park lanı yer alıyor.
Ayrıca iç kısımlarda yeme içme yerleri de mevcut. Şelalenin su debisi düşük olduğu zamanlarda derenin üzerine masalar yerleştiriyorlar ve ayaklarınızı suya sokarak yemek yiye bilir çay içebilirsiniz :)

• يمكنك زيارة الينابيع العلاجية الحارة في حمامات ترمال في يلوا بغرض الاستشفاء من عدة امراض أو للحصول على الراحة والاستجمام في أحد حماماتها الساخنة ومن اشهر تلك الحمامات نذكر:
حمام والدة السلطان Valide Banyo
وهو حمام يضم قسمين منفصلين قسم للنساء فقط و آخر للرجال و يحتوي على مسبح داخلي و غرفة ساونا و بخار. بني هذا الحمام في القرن الرابع من قبل الإمبراطور البيزنطي قسطنطينوس في بلدة يالوفا، أطلقت عليه هذه التسمية بعد ترميمه من قبل السلطان العثماني عبد المجيد الثاني واستخدامه من قبل والدته بقصد العلاج.
حمام السلطان Sultan Banyo
وهو حمام قديم في يلوا تيرمال يضم غرف خاصة للعائلة تضم حوض استحمام صغير ، ويعتبر من افضل حمامات يلوا .
حمام الرصاص Kurşunlu Banyo
من حمامات يلوا تيرمال المعروفة، تعود تسمية الحمام إلى قبته المصنوعة من الرصاص وهو حمام مختلط للنساء و الرجال يضم جاكوزي و ساونا و يتبع له مسبح مكشوف وغرف عائلية خاصة.
شلال صودوشان
شلال صودوشان (بالتركية: Sudüşen Şelalesi) احد اهم اماكن السياحة في يلوا يبعد حوالي 9كم عن قرية تيرمال ويعتبر مقصداً للسيّاح وسكان تركيا بشكل عام

Fellow SHENANIGANS!! I travelled to Yalova over the weekend and absolutely loved the calmness and it is a perfect getaway from Istanbuls rush.
Personally, I LOVED Yalova! Very Calm and the place was full of Families enjoying their weekend. Definitely a place worth visiting :)
We visited the Su Dusen Waterfall and the Yalova City Centre. Captured the most beautiful sunset I have ever seen in my life with the drone *absolutely beautiful* and had quality time with mum and brother :) XO
