Places we visited.
Hotel: We stayed at Hotel Central, beautiful old building on the market square. Good room, friendly people and amazing breakfast!
Sweets:
Tum Tum Old Dutch Candystore - my favorite since I was a little kid
Zammateo - where you get some of the best Italian icecream you ever tasted
Bossche Bol - Jan de Groot. Duh, he is famous! The sweets in his shop seriously sell out, sometimes you have to order them. But they got them on many terraces.
Going for lunch: Korte Putstraat. Cute little street, also great at night!
St. Janskathedraal - amazing by day and beautiful by night.
NOTE 2016 is the year of Jeroen Bosch (Jeroen Boschjaar) since he died 500 years ago. Some special events are happening this period :)

In may 2013 we spent a saturday in Den Bosch the capital of the province of North Brabant in the Netherlands. There are many ways to see this beautiful city. Our favourite way was not by boat, how 150 000 visiters in a year. We walked trough the city and enjoyed the lively Market Square, the canal network called the Binnendieze below the old city, Saint John's Cathedral, Noordbrabants Museum, City rampart, many old buildings, pups and restaurants in the alleys and the Bastionder museum, enjoy !
Im Mai 2013 verbrachten wir einen Samstag in Den Bosch der Hauptstadt der Provinz Nord-Brabant in den Niederlanden. Es gibt viele Möglichkeiten, um diese schöne Stadt zu sehen. Unsere Lieblings-Weg war nicht mit dem Boot, was jährlich ca.150 000 Besucher wählen. Wir gingen durch die Stadt und genossen den lebhaften Marktplatz, das so genannte Kanalnetz der Binnendieze unterhalb der Altstadt, die Saint John Kathedrale, das Noordbrabants Museum, den Stadt Schutzwall, viele alte Gebäude, die Restaurant Gasse und das Bastionder Museum, übrigens auch ein super Tipp zum shoppen, auch an den Wochenenden, viel Spass !

Wat te doen en te zien in Den Bosch / ‘s-Hertogenbosch, Nederland [SUB] Bezienswaardigheden
‘Den Bosch’ is de hoofdstad van de provincie ‘Noord Brabant’ in Nederland.
Het is een van de oudste steden van Nederland en het historisch stadscentrum is een van de meest complete van het land.
Officieel is de naam: ’s-Hertogenbosch.
Het is een middeleeuwse vestingstad met de rivier ‘De Binnendieze’ die onder de stad door stroomt en een rondvaart over deze rivier is een van de grote attracties van deze stad.
Naast het gebakje de ‘Bossche Bol’ is de ‘Sint Jan’ kathedraal beroemd in Nederland.
Bezoek ook de middeleeuwse ‘Markt’ met het oudste stenen huis van Nederland, ‘De Moriaan’ genaamd.
En natuurlijk mogen 2 belangrijke musea niet vergeten worden: ‘Jheronimus Bosch Art Center’ en het ‘Noord Brabants Museum’.
