Whenever you decide to travel to Alanya in 2022 or beyond, you can use this video as a way to guide you during your trip to the turquoise coast. We show some of the best things to do in Alanya.

I have been living in Alanya for the past year and it is famous for its stunning beaches, Taurus mountains, and ancient history. Cleopatra beach in Alanya is one of the most famous beaches n Turkey as Queen Cleopatra once swam here.
Take the cable cars up to Alanya Castle which was once the summer residence of Seljuk Sultan Aladdin Keykubad. The Red Tower was also built during the reign of Sultan Aladdin and it is now a national symbol of Alanya. The Alanya shipyard is also nearby and you can buy a combined ticket with the Red Fort Tower.
The Alanya Pirate boat tours are popular with tourists and you can visit many caves and beaches during this tour. You can also see the famous Alanya lighthouse from the seas.
Some popular day trips from Alanya include Manavgat waterfall, Side (where you can try out dune buggies and white water rafting), Koprulu Canyon, and Sapadere Kanyon.
You can find many amazing restaurants cooking up some of the freshest and best produce that grows here in Alanya. One unique restaurant we recommend visiting is called Göl Piknik in the Dimçayi area. This is a fabulous mountainside restaurant with delicious dishes. We chose the sac kavurma, cheesy mushrooms, chips, eggplant, and yogurt salads. In the summer months, you can enjoy your meal outside in canopy’s surrounded by the water and play in the water park. After visiting this restaurant, you can visit the nearby Dimçayi caves, and lakes and enjoy the scenic views.

We came for only 3 nights, but wound up staying a whole week, if you’re staying for a shorter time period, you won’t be asking yourself what to do in Kas, because truly there is a ton there to keep you busy. HOW is this not common knowledge!!??
An entire ancient city (The ancient city of Hierapolis) sits just behind the famous Pamukkale thermal pools (Cotton Castle) Mind Boggling that it is completely over shadowed by the pools themselves.
Don't get us wrong, the pools were cool, sometimes even too cool ❄????
But the city is honestly not to be missed. We explored Hieropolis for hours and were mostly by ourselves the entire time!
Again, getting up early has been the real winner here because we were alone at the pamukkale pools too!
I know this is already the number one thing to see in Turkey but theres even more than meets the eye!

Gigantesca, diversa e única, Istambul é uma das minhas cidades prediletas! Ela é bonita em todas as estações!
O viajante que vai à Turquia deve dedicar alguns dias para conhecer Istambul. Somente na região de Sultanahmet encontram-se a Hagia Sophia, a Mesquita Azul, a Cisterna da Basílica, o Grande Bazar, o Palácio Topkapi e outros pontos turísticos de Istambul imperdíveis.
Çesme
Uma das maiores surpresas do litoral da Turquia é a belíssima Çesme, o reduto de férias dos turcos.
Com praias belíssimas devido à cor azul e transparente do mar, Çesme é uma das melhores cidades da Turquia para visitar no verão e uma de nossas paixões no país.
Quem procura um destino de praia mais sossegado, com muitas praias boas, tem em Çesme um local perfeito.
Goreme
A Capadócia é uma região surpreendente da Turquia.
Mas onde fica a Capadócia? Ela está localizada no centro da Península da Anatólia.
Os brasileiros descobriram essa região a partir de uma novela da Rede Globo e se apaixonaram, obviamente.
Com casas e hotéis dentro de rochas pontiagudas (chaminés de fada), vales repletos de rochas esculpidas pela natureza e usadas pelo ser humano há milênios, passeios de balão e paisagens únicas, a Capadócia é inesquecível.
Todos os anos milhões de pessoas visitam a região e a maioria fica em Goreme, que é a cidade com mais estrutura turística.
Antália
Diferentemente de Çesme, que é uma cidade pequena, Antália é uma grande e importante cidade no litoral da Turquia.
Com história milenar e um centro histórico charmoso, Antália é também um destino de verão, especificamente para quem busca por resorts na Riviera Turca.
Na nossa opinião, Antália vai muito além dos resorts, seu centro histórico é um encanto e há muitas cidades históricas milenares nas proximidades de Antália,
Éfeso
A partir de Izmir (ou Esmirna) ou Kusadasi, milhões de viajantes descobrem uma das mais preservadas cidades históricas de toda a Europa, a exuberante Éfeso.
Com inúmeros monumentos da antiguidade, Éfeso foi a cidade que abrigou a Virgem Maria, o que torna o local bastante atrativo aos cristãos.
Pamukkale
É muito difícil falar das melhores cidades da Turquia para visitar e não citar Pamukkale, a pequena vila com os gloriosos terraços de água termal e com as ruínas da cidade greco-romana de Hierapolis.
Pamukkale significa em turco “castelo de algodão”, porque os terraços são formados por travertino, um tipo de rocha calcária, trazendo a cor branca a eles.
Saiba que Pamukkale e Hierapolis são Patrimônios da Humanidade pela UNESCO.
Muitos viajantes conhecem Pamukkale e as ruínas de Hierapolis em uma viagem de bate-volta a partir do litoral, saindo de Kusadasi, mas há hospedagens na região.
Fethiye e Oludeniz
Fethiye é outro destino muito procurado na Riviera Turca, especificamente pelos ingleses, que descobriram as belezas da região faz tempo.
Na cidade, há grandes praias, sítios arqueológicos que merecem ser conhecidos e Oludeniz.

Bodrum
Bodrum parece uma cidade grega com mesquitas turcas. As casas alvas nos morros, o mar azul e os sítios arqueológicos causam a impressão de estar na Grécia.
Além de conhecer a cidade chamada de Bodrum, permita-se descobrir as cidades e vilas da península de Bodrum.
Konya
Em Konya, o visitante se depara com a diversidade cultural da Turquia. A cidade guarda mesquitas, museus e construções da dinastia Seljuk e também atrai muitos visitantes por causa dos dervixes.
Os dervixes expressam sua fé baseada no Sufismo, uma corrente do Islamismo nascida em Konya e que utiliza a música e a dança na prática religiosa.
Aliás, Konya é uma cidade de peregrinação religiosa devido ao Sufismo

Discovering the Beauty of Turkey's Turquoise Coast | Dalyan and Fethiye
Hey Y'all, welcome back to another video in our Turkey travel vlog series. Today we are traveling down the west coast of Turkey, also known as the Turquoise Coast!
Our first stop on our road trip is the town of Dalyan. The town sits on a winding river, between a huge lake and the lovely beach of Iztuzu. On the way to the beach, we saw some beautiful Carian tombs, which are carved into the cliffside. At the southern end of İztuzu Beach is the turtle rescue centre, established in 2009 largely through the influence of an English woman named June Haimoff. She campaigned for years to save this beach from development. We were lucky enough to meet Captain June and hear her story! This center has saved many loggerhead and green turtles from injuries done by fishing hooks, nets, and boat propellers.
After that, we made it to the town of Fethiye where we enjoyed a seafood dinner right on the water. The next morning we took a boat cruise from town that brought us to a few islands as we sailed along the stunning Turquoise Coast.

Pe 16 martie începea mica mea excursie în Istanbul. Și prima dealtfel pe teritoriul Turciei, o țară pe care am gasit-o mult mai primitoare decât mă așteptam, în plină pandemie de coronavirus.
Călătoria mea de o săptămână la Istanbul s-a transformat însă peste noapte într-una de 3 zile.
