Lingen (Ems) - Duitsland
De geschiedenis van Lingen is met name vanaf de zestiende eeuw verbonden met het huis Oranje. De geschiedenis gaat terug naar 975, toen Lingen het eerst in de archieven genoemd werd. Lingen lag op het kruispunt van twee belangrijke wegen, de Vlaamse en de Friese Straße en was zodoende al in de middeleeuwen een handelscentrum. Lingen maakte in 1227 deel uit van het gelijknamige graafschap Lingen. Het graafschap werd vanaf de 16e eeuw tot de Nederlanden gerekend. In 1597 veroverde Maurits van Nassau, de latere prins van Oranje, de vestingstad. In 1605 heroverde Ambrogio Spinola de stad. In 1632 ging de stad naar het bezit van het huis Oranje tot de dood van stadhouder Willem III. Daarna, in 1702, kwam het Graafschap in Pruisische handen. Later waren respectievelijk Napoleon, Pruisen, Hannover en daarna weer Pruisen aan zet. Tegenwoordig is Lingen een zelfstandige stad in de deelstaat Nedersaksen.

Der Seepark im Februar 2018. Seitdem hat sich da Einiges schon wieder getan. Weitere Gebäude, eine Uferbefestigung, vorbereiteter Zugang zur Vechte und Vechtesee und die Inseln sind auch sehr stark bewachsen. Einige Vogelarten, insbesondere Wasservögel haben hier ein neues Zuhause gefunden.

The history of Haddorfer Seen (lake) 5 lakes are they digging a gravel and stone same like Offlumer Seen.
The peoples telling, the Haddorfer seen is man made or human made its not natural lake, starting for digging was 1970, then they open to the public or tourist peoples when the summer is coming, this place now is open for tourism, yet, they start to construct a new road and restaurant.
The Haddorfer Seen are located on the Muensterland gravel train, which arose from ice age deposits. After the gravel and sand had been excavated, quarry ponds remained.
The lakes in Haddorf is located in Wettringen municipality in the Steinfurt district, the landscape is very rural, there are mainly field and forest.

Bad Bentheim, in het Duitse Nedersaksen is een oud stadje waarbij we de focus vooral leggen op Kasteel Bentheim (Burg Bentheim) en zijn geschiedenis.
Kasteel Bentheim is de grootste hoogteburcht van Noordwest-Duitsland en werd voor het eerst in het jaar 1020 vermeld. Al meer dan vijf eeuwen is het complex in het bezit van de graven en vorsten “zu Bentheim und Steinfurt”.
Kasteel Bentheim is dagelijks geopend van 10.00 uur tot 18.00 uur (laatste toegang: 17.15 uur).

The salt production at Rheine is documented for the first time during the reign of Bishop Siegfried von Walbeck , 1022-1032. The certified copy of a document from 1439 shows in this context that two women belong to the family of the Counts of Kappenbergalso gave away boiling huts with various church foundations. Since only the giving away of functional boiling huts was likely to have been worth the performance in such a deed of donation, it can rightly be assumed that salt production was already in operation at that time. Around 200 years later, the Bentlager Gertrudis Church, which had previously owned the Siedehütten, was revoked by the government of the Münster bishop and the associated Niederhof Bentlage and its salt works became the property of the bishop.
For the year 1437 it is further documented that the bishop of Münster, Heinrich II. Von Moers , sold the Niederhof including the salt works for 2,600 Rhenish gold guilders to the Bentlager Kreuzherrenkloster , whereby the canons of the monastery made the purchase decision with express reference to the possibilities for Determine salt production. 100 Schlösser Route | Travel Tipps | Reiseführer Deutsch
Die 100 Schlösser Route ist ein Radfernweg und führt auf 4 Rundkursen durch das gesamte Münsterland im nördlichen Nordrhein-Westfalen.
* Länge: ca. 960 km auf 4 Rundkursen
* Ausschilderung: komplett in beiden Richtungen als Einschub in die offizielle Radbeschilderung.
* Steigungen: Nur im Bereich des Tecklenburger Landes (Nordkurs) und der Baumberge (Südkurs) einige kleine Steigungen.
* Wegzustand: Einige Wege führen über die sogenannten Pättkes (Pfade). Asphaltierte und gut gepflegte Radwege dominieren weite Teile der 100-Schlösser-Route.
* Verkehrsbelastung: Zumeist geringe Verkehrsbelastung.
* Geeignetes Fahrrad: normales Tourenfahrrad
* Familieneignung: Bis auf den Nordkurs sind alle Rundkurse problemlos für Familien zu befahren.

We hebben een lang weekend in Bad Bentheim en Ahaus doorgebracht. Vlak over de grens met Duitsland ter hoogte van Enschede. Ondanks of dankzij de herfst kan het er toch mooi zijn.
