This list of the best amusement parks in the United States, compiled by U.S. News, is provided for your consideration to assist you in making a decision. Read on to find out more if you are interested in riding one of the roller coasters that is the tallest in the nation, falling hundreds of feet out of the sky, or continuing your search for the world's best funnel cake.
Number 10. Cedar Point.
Cedar Point, which boasts itself as the roller coaster capital of the world, has 18 roller coasters that will keep you on rides for the entirety of the day. In the early 1920s, Knott's Berry Farm in the vicinity of Anaheim may have begun as a modest berry farm, but today's visitors will find a vast theme park that is divided into four distinct sections, each of which features a different assortment of rides and attractions. The rides and attractions in Camp Snoopy are geared toward younger children, whilst those at the Old West Ghost Town feature a saloon and roller coasters with a Western motif. The architecture and attractions of Fiesta Village, on the other hand, pay homage to the Hispanic heritage of California. Knott's Boardwalk is the fourth part of Knott's Berry Farm, and it draws its influence from the beachy atmosphere of Southern California. It is also home to some of the most thrilling roller coasters in the park, as well as a stage for live performances.

Hello from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania! Pittsburgh is hands down one of our favorite larger cities in the United States. With three rivers, 446 bridges (the most in the world!), historic buildings, and gorgeous green hills all around, it's so dang picturesque. And while we have been to the city before (for Adam, many times), this was our first time truly exploring the city together, so we spent one day doing as many touristy things as possible!

A Brief History of West Mifflin
West Mifflin is a borough in Allegheny County southeast of the city of Pittsburgh. The area was named after the first elected governor of Pennsylvania, Thomas Mifflin. He was governor from 1744 through 1800. The area came with the purchase of 1784 from Virginia. Mifflin Township’s original boundaries started at the mouth of Streets Run at Six Mile Ferry up the Mon River to the Washington County line. Streets Run was at Hays at the time. Also at around the community’s beginnings, Mifflin included Hays, West Homestead, Munhall, Duquesne, Lincoln Place, Dravosburg, Pleasant Hills, Jefferson Hills and a town named Mifflin as well, the prefix West was added to become what it is today, West Mifflin.
Facts about West Mifflin
The borough is home to one of Pittsburgh’s iconic places, Kennywood Park. Kennywood is one of the country’s oldest amusement parks. Other businesses in the neighborhood include Bettis Atomic Power Lab, Bombardier (a monorail manufacturer), CCAC South Campus and Allegheny County Airport. As of the 2010 census, there were 20,313 people living in West Mifflin.
