Ostfriesland, Germany (Leer and Emden) on the North Sea
I enjoyed making this video about northwest Germany so much that I don’t even care if nobody else watches it. I have such great memories of my time there. I hope I can live there someday. Seeing the rich tea culture made me appreciate teatime that much more, and I now have a deeper understanding to why my family practiced afternoon tea growing up. Bünting and Thiele are the two main brands. The tea is accompanied with German rock sugar and very heavy cream. When the cream is added to the hot tea, it floats to the top making a beautiful flower in the cup. Our Airbnb was great, and we have the most awesome host and hostess! Unterwegs in der Krummhörn in Ostfriesland an der Nordseeküste. Zwischen Greetsiel und der Stadt Emden liegen idyllische Dörfer. Gebaut sind sie auf Warften, das sind künstliche Hügel. Die Warftendörfer mit ihren roten Backsteinhäusern, engen Straßen und bunten Vorgärten gehören zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten der Krummhörn.

Hi and welcome to WannaGoBiking. Time for another Bikepacking trip ! In this series I'll be cycling from my hometown Groningen in the Netherlands over Germany and Denmark to Norway :-)
My dear friend Peter-Jan will be joining me all the way to the tip of Denmark so that's going to be a fun first week or so. In this first episode we set off to a little village just across the border. We left after work to get a head start. Which proved to be a good idea as the routes were long enough in the end.

Increíble pueblo con un rio el Ems y un lago donde hay viviendas, a unos 10 km por carretera con la frontera de Holanda, es decir, Países Bajos y muy cerca de la costa también. Económico, lindo, con todo, supermercados y bares, centro comercial muy cerca, conexión con autopista....... realmente recomendable el sitio

Mitte August verbringe ich ein Solowochenende mit dem Pössl im Münsterland, auf dem Rückweg gen Heimat mache ich Zwischenstation in Papenburg und an der Thülsfelder Talsperre.
Heute geht es vom Gasthaus Schulte-Lind in Papenburg mit dem Gravelbike entlang der Ems nach Weener zum alten Hafen und zurück
