20 reasons why the USA is still the king of the world

The United States Of America (USA) is undoubtably one of the most powerful, wealthy and influential countries in the world.

Although it is not perfect and in recent years has battled its own internal problems, it is still a force to be reckoned with.

In this video we've got 20 reasons why the USA is still the king of the world.

About the USA:

The U.S. is a country of 50 states covering a vast swath of North America, with Alaska in the northwest and Hawaii extending the nation’s presence into the Pacific Ocean.
Major Atlantic Coast cities are New York, a global finance and culture center, and capital Washington, DC. Midwestern metropolis Chicago is known for influential architecture and on the west coast, Los Angeles' Hollywood is famed for filmmaking.

The Secret Menu of In-N-Out — California, USA | The Travel Intern

You hear about secret menus — They always pique some kind of interest, and they end up making rounds around the realm of social media.

Since we were in America, and had the luxury of having an abundance of In-N-Out outlets all around us, we decided to try their SECRET MENU!!

But before your eyes feast upon all the unhealthy goodness that the classic burger joint serves, here's a list of good reads if you're planning to head to the States:

LOS ANGELES
00:42 - Hollywood Boulevard Walk of Fame

00:50 - Madame Tussauds Hollywood
It's never too late to do a mannequin challenge around real mannequins.

01:04 - Santa Monica Beach
Cycling along the boardwalk and finally ending it all off at Santa Monica while the sun set was indescribable.

01:24 - Pacific Park
Don't mess with these seemingly tame carnival rides. Sometimes I feel like the smaller scale these look, the more terrifying they are. Haha.

01:30 - Disneyland
I always end up crying in Disneyland — You know, it's just like nostalgia hitting you right in the feels. But that aside, we have Jiax, the ultimate scaredy cat. He looks cool and all on social media, but really. Terrified of a swinging ferris wheel? (HAHA WE LOVE YOU JIAX)

02:03 - IN-N-OUT
Here's where it all goes down:
1) (02:37) Double Double Animal-Style
2) (02:45) 3 X 3
3) (02:53) Flying Dutchman
4) (03:00) Double Double Protein-Style
5) (03:08) Animal-Style Fries
6) (03:16) Neapolitan Shake
BONUS CHALLENGE: (04:15) Mich takes on the DOUBLE JALAPENO challenge issued by our new-found friends in the booth next to us. (IF YOU GUYS ARE WATCHING THIS, SAY HI IN THE COMMENTS!!)

ROAD TRIP
05:43 - Pacific Coast Highway 1

05:46 - Elephant Seal Vista Point
They are literally the cutest floofballs ever :3 We spent quite a long time just watching them in their full glory~

06:46 - Big Sur
UGH MY FAVOURITE ROAD TRIP ROAD (?!) EVER! One of the best drives I've ever had on a road trip!!!!! Super beautiful, with its windy roads and unparalleled coastal view~

06:53 - Bixby Creek Bridge
Here, we got Hendric to channel his greatest, most enthusiastic inner host at our favourite bridge. :-D He was really done. Well, at least we got a good pic of him jumping across rocks ;-)

07:22 - Carmel Beach

Would you go on a secret menu food feast? :-D Let us know!

Why is New Hampshire So Weird???

Few states are as unique as New Hampshire. It's a New England state that had a hand in the American Revolution, but it's different than the other surrounding states, like Massachusetts. In fact, it shares some characteristics of southern states. Despite being one of the smallest states in the country, it has an outsized influence on national politics, for one thing. About the only thing that is similar to other northeastern states is that New Hampshire has a population of educated residents. It's a weird state, ya'll. Join me while I uncover the various reasons why it's such a unique place to live.

Winter in Austria Under $1.4k —Things to do during winter in Vienna, Salzburg, Hallstatt & Innsbruck

Austria is a fantastic destination to visit especially during winter! It offers fun winter sports activities, iconic historical landmarks to visit and delicious Viennese foods while still being on a budget!

Come join us as we visit four wonderful cities in Austria namely Vienna, Salzburg, Hallstatt and Innsbruck and see what these places have to offer!

Checkout our full itinerary here :

______________________________

INNSBRUCK - 00:12
A historic city with an adventurous side. It’s surrounded by snow-capped mountains and numerous ski resorts.

00:25 - Nordkette Ski Resort
Get onto the top of a mountain and see some amazing views while having fun skiing and snowboarding.

00:45 - Swarovski Crystal World
Swarovski was founded in Austria in 1885 and celebrated its centennial anniversary in 1995 with the opening of Swarovski Crystal Worlds. The centrepiece of the park is The Giant by artist André Heller. He created the story of a giant who gathered knowledge around the world, before settling down in Tyrol to watch over Swarovski’s Chambers of Wonders!

SALZBURG - 01:04
Known for Mozart, Red Bull and The Sound of Music, Salzburg is a city bursting with culture.

01:08 - Getreidegasse Shopping Street
The town’s main shopping street. The old houses are displays of the town’s history — important dates and the names of former owners are often found inscribed on the front.

01:13 - Salzburg Cathedral
It was first built in 767, but was destroyed by fires and rebuilt several times over the years. One of the city’s most important religious buildings, the baptismal font inside is where Mozart and his sister were baptised!

01:20 - Mirabell Palace and Gardens
If you’ve watched the award-winning musical film “The Sound of Music“, this place might look familiar. It was built in 1606 by Prince-Archbishop Wolf Dietrich for his mistress. The Sound of Music was based on the real-life von Trapp family who lived in Salzburg before World War II! The spot shown above is where Julie Andrews performed the song “Do Re Mi” in the movie.

01:26 - Hohensalzburg Fortress
The biggest fully preserved castle in Central Europe is the Hohensalzburg Fortress in Salzburg. Built-in 1077, it’s located on top of Festungsberg hill — with unobstructed views of Salzburg's old town.

01:44 - Mozart Museum
Visit the childhood home of the famed composer Mozart, it is now converted into a museum furnished with original furniture, portraits and instruments displayed.

01:53 - Hangar-7
Here you’ll find a collection of aircraft and Formula 1 race cars on display — free for the public to visit!

HALLSTATT - 02:02
Home to the world’s oldest salt mine! A small village of 750 residents but millions of tourist flock over here each year for its picture postcard view.

02:26 - Hallstatt Skywalk
This 350-metre-high viewing platform offers panoramic views of Hallstatt Old Town and Hallstätter See, the alpine lake that connects Hallstatt and the village of Obertraun. Get the best view of all Hallstatt here.

02:37 - Salzwelten Hallstatt
This is the world’s oldest salt mine — over 7000 years old! The salt mine is closely linked with the town’s history and the tour is both educational and scenic.

VIENNA - 03:02

03:20 - Adante-Cooking Class
Learn all about Viennese cuisine by cooking with a local chef! Andante teaches guests how to prepare a full Viennese meal — a starter (depending on the season), schnitzel with potato salad, and apple strudel.

03:38 - Café Sacher
When in Vienna, you’ve got to have the Sacher-Torte and coffee at Sacher Eck Cafe. This rich chocolate cake with apricot jam and whipped cream dates back to 1832 and is now a household name in Austria.

03:50 - Viennese Sausages at Bitzinger Würstelstand
Grabbing a bite at a Würstelstand (sausage stand) is a must. Würstelstands are found all over the city, but Bitzinger Würstelstand (located right beside the Vienna State Opera) is the most well-known.

04:04 - Vienna Ice Dream
This isn’t your typical ice rink. From January to early March, Vienna Ice Dream takes over the area in front of City Hall and the surrounding Rathaus Park — transforming it into a massive ice skating park.

Fasting in America's ONLY Muslim Town (For Ramadan)

???? Get Exclusive NordVPN deal ➼ w/ coupon code 'drewbinsky'
✅ SUBSCRIBE for more travel videos:

Ever since I heard that Hamtramck, Michigan is America's ONLY Muslim-majority town, I knew that I had to visit (because I love Islam!!) And it turned out to be one of the most incredible experiences that I've had within my own country, the United States of America.

My friend @JessicaKobeissi took me around her stomping grounds to introduce me to the culture that she grew up in, and I was completely amazed. So many Lebanese, Iraqis, Yemenis, Bangladeshis, Somalis, Syrians (etc) all living together in this suburban Michigan town called Hamtramck, along with nearby Dearborn.

I went during the very first day of Ramadan - the holiest month in Islam - and I even participated in the fast myself. Watch until the end to see what is breaking the fast (or iftar) at Jessica's friend's house.

The moral of this story is that America is SO BIG and SO DIVERSE, and there are many micro-communities to be discovered. Would you like to see more stories about the different communities in the USA? Please comment below and let me know - your feedback is so valuable to me. Thank you, and Ramadan Kareem to all who celebrate ❤️

NH: Concord, State Capital

The New Hampshire State House is the oldest state capitol in which both houses of the legislature meet in their original chambers.

We had a very good guide. She explained New Hampshire House is truly a “citizens legislature” with 400 members, it’s one of the most accessible in the country.

To be a New Hampshire Congress person, one must be a resident of New Hampshire for two years and be at least 18 years of age.

A conngress person receives just $100 per year as compensation! It’s not much, but then again, the low rate tends to keep career politicians out and minimizes the burden on taxpayers.

The New Hampshire Senate has been meeting since 1784. It consists of 24 members representing Senate districts based on population. Currently, there are 14 Republicans and 10 Democrats.

The Senate has to complete the work assigned on a particular day and must do so before the end of the day. If more time is needed, the clock in the room will be stopped at 12:00 AM and reset to regular time once the work completes.

Weare New Hampshire (NH) Real Estate Tour

-- Tour Weare, NH neighborhoods, condominium developments, subdivisions, schools, landmarks, recreational areas, and town offices.

Weare, New Hampshire is a rural community at the western edge of New Hampshire's Merrimack Valley. Residents of Weare have long made an effort to preserve their illustrious history. Josiah G. Dearborn and Abner P. Collins each began collecting historical facts and family records about 1850, but a town history was not yet written. After years of waiting, a meeting was held at the town-house, March 1, 1882, to take measures to prepare and publish one.

Weare's early settlers, as has been told, resided in log cabins. They procured their food by tilling the land, hunting and fishing. They were crude farmers. At first they could not plow their fields, by reason of the stumps and logs. They dug the soil and hoed in their seed with a clumsy hoe, made by the common blacksmith. But often farm products were scarce. Game from the woods and fish from the ponds, streams and Amoskeag falls were then a great help. In time, Weare developed a more sophisticated agriculture-based economy, though today the community is primarily residential in nature.

Weare is home to Clinton Grove Academy, the first Quaker seminary in New Hampshire. Moses Cartland, who was headmaster for fourteen years, founded the school in 1834. Cartland named the village in which the Academy stands Clinton Grove in honor of DeWitt Clinton, chief sponsor of the Erie Canal. The original Academy served as a private high school. Students came from as far away as Ontario, Nova Scotia, Minnesota and Texas.

In 1872, the Academy complex burned and classes were continued in the Quaker meetinghouse across the common until 1874, when the current building was completed. From 1877 to 1938, the Academy building served as a Weare district school. The building was also used as a meeting place for Girl Scouts and a women's organization. In 1934, during the occasion of the one-hundredth anniversary celebration of the Academy's founding, a bronze plaque was set in the boulder in the schoolyard with an inscription written by John Greenleaf Whittier about his cousin, Moses Cartland. The American Dream — Road Trip from LA to SF | The Travel Intern

The GREAT WEST COAST Adventure with four friends — Are you ready? We started in Los Angeles, headed up the Pacific Coast Highway 1 through the most beautiful Big Sur, spent a couple days in Yosemite and ended it all off with San Francisco!

You can check this itinerary out, it's also an alternative to start the journey from SF to LA:

LOS ANGELES
00:32 - Go LA Card
We really can't emphasise this product enough - you get access to 35 attractions with just one price. Think Six Flags Magic Mountain, Warner Bros. Studio Tour, etc. It's a superb deal.

00:37 - Warner Bros. Studio Tour
We got to tour around the famous Hollywood filming locations and the campus was HUGE!

00:53 - Perry's Bicycle Rental
What better way to soak in the beach ~vibes~ by getting a bike and cycling down Santa Monica beach?

01:06 - Pacific Park
End your bike adventure at Pacific Park after catching the sunset at Santa Monica Pier. The rides are actually more thrilling than they appear to be.

01:09 - San Pedro Fish Market
If you're ever in the southern part of LA, be sure to give San Pedro Fish Market a visit and indulge in their SHRIMP TRAY!!!

01:20 - Griffith Observatory
Get a bird's-eye view of the city from this observatory. You'll also get to see the Hollywood sign from here.

01:26 - Universal Studios Hollywood, Six Flags Magic Mountain
Go on a theme park frenzy!! Thrill-seekers, you're definitely in for a treat~

01:43 - OUE Skyspace LA
This city is FULL of sunset lookout points. The OUE Skyspace LA is the highest open-air observation deck in California!

01:54 - Disneyland
The happiest place on Earth — what else is there to say? :-)

ROAD TRIP UP PACIFIC COAST HIGHWAY 1
02:23 - Big Sur
LOVE LOVE LOVE. Super love. Winding roads along the beautiful coastal stretch, with landmarks that took our breath away~
02:31 - McWay Falls
02:35 - Bixby Creek Bridge

YOSEMITE NATIONAL PARK
02:43 - Yosemite National Park
Snow all around, it was truly like a winter wonderland.

02:53 - Yosemite Falls
Both the Upper Falls and Lower Falls are magnificent sights to behold.

02:57 - Half Dome
On clear days, the reflection of the Half Dome on the water surface makes the entire scene look like it came straight out of a postcard.

02:58 - Bridalveil Fall
During winter, the short walk up to the falls can be quite tricky and slippery, so be prepared for some leg work!

03:01 - Swinging Bridge
I know what you're thinking — it doesn't look like it's swinging. But ya know, it still works. It's an absolute beaut.

03:03 - El Capitan
The red hue cast by the sunset upon the face of El Capitan made all of us speechless. It only lasted a couple minutes before it faded off, but that moment was priceless.

SAN FRANCISCO
03:19 - Go SF Card
Just like the Go LA Card, this card is super handy too! Trust us — it's a good deal.

03:24 - Golden Gate Bridge (Battery Spencer)
For those who wanna get that picture with the Golden Gate Bridge, this is one of the better lookouts we feel. It does get windy though, so be layered up!

03:31 - Mr. Holmes Bakehouse
Yes, this is the shop where we GOT BAKED in. Haha. Super Instagram-famous, and with good reason too! Their cruffins are of a different flavour everyday, so be surprised!

03:36 - Fisherman's Wharf
If you're in SF, you have to spend an afternoon walking and exploring the entire stretch of the Fisherman's Wharf. You get to see and do so many things like:
03:40 - Ripley's Believe It or Not
03:45 - The San Francisco Dungeon (WE LOVED THIS, REALLY. It was a theatre-based show, where you get to move from station to station, something like a theme park, but with a haunting history of the past~)
03:49 - Pier 39 (Get the Speculoos Latte from the Biscoff Coffee Corner)

03:56 - Alcatraz Island Tour
One of the must-dos!! We easily spent 3 hours in there, or more. The audio tour is probs the best out there.

04:14 - The Castro
The historic center of the LGBT community of SF, we really loved exploring the area!

04:23 - MISSION STREET MEXICAN FOOD FEAST!!!!
Mission Street is the Mexican food HAVEN! We highly recommend saving your tummies for at least 4 to 5 stores. We're going to introduce you to one of our FAVE places:
04:27 - Taqueria El Farolita
Anything off the menu is great. Promise.

Would you go on such an adventure with your friends? :-)
