Downtown Des Moines is the central business and cultural district of Des Moines, the capital city of Iowa in the United States. It is often referred to simply as Downtown DSM or Downtown Des Moines. Downtown Des Moines is home to performance spaces like the ornate Hoyt Sherman Place and the modern Civic Center. The Wells Fargo Arena hosts big-name concerts, plus hockey and basketball games, and there’s Minor League baseball at Principal Park.
