Waterville, Ohio
Waterville is a small city in Lucas County, Ohio. Waterville was platted in 1830 by settler John Pray on the west bank of the upper Maumee River opposite of what was then known as Pray's Fall a rapid on that stream. This city has that small town feeling. It is rich in history, and even host ghost walks in the fall to tell about its historical buildings, and maybe a few ghost tales. I enjoyed my visit, the Dale's Dinners has some great burgers too!

Kennebec River Views Near Waterville, ME
Take a trip around Waterville and Winslow's part of the Kennebec River. We start in Fort Halifax Park in Winslow with views of Lockwood Mill across the river. Then we headed up stream to Head of Falls Park in Waterville. From there we can see the old Hollingsworth & Whitney Company Mill, the Two Cent Bridge and the Lockwood Mill from a different angle. There are many places your family can enjoy getting wet on the Alabama Gulf Coast. One of those is Waterville USA.
North Shore Wave Pool is a great place to float along, then get rocked by the waves that come intermittently. The Crystal Waters River is a slow float past the palm trees and other attractions.
Kids love the multiple water slides with their straight drops, enclosed tubes, and twists and turns. The adults enjoy just relaxing and watching the little ones play at Shrimp Boat Village.
