Walking in MEISSEN / Germany ????????- 4K 60fps (UHD)
Meissen (Meißen) / Germany is a small northwest of Dresden in the state of Saxony. Meissen is famous as the home of Meissen porcelain. The of Meissen proximity to Dresden - around 25km or 30 minutes by train - makes it ideal for a day trip when traveling in the area.
We start our 1 hour walking tour of Meissen at the market square. There we see the the Gothic Meissen Cathedral and the Meissen Town Hall.
On this evening we walk all around the old town, see the Elbe river and even head out of the town center to judge the size a bit better. Back in the town we see a bit the Albrechtsburg which is Late Gothic and early Renaissance castle (1471-1495).
At last we explore some more quiet streets before we end our Meissen walking tour near the train station.

Das Elbtal bei Meißen – hier sucht Anna-Sophie Aßmann den Frühling zum Mitnehmen“. Ihre Challenge: Fünf selbstgemachte Frühlingsprodukte sammeln. Das ist nicht einfach, aber auch nicht unmöglich. Denn die grandiose Landschaft an der Elbe bei Meißen hat auch für Selfmade - Spezialisten einiges zu bieten. Hier sind Anna-Sophies fünf DIY-Tipps:
Tipp 1:
Anna-Sophie will im Meißener Hahnemannzentrum Ringelblumensalbe selbst herstellen. Sie verrät Euch Schritt für Schritt, wie das geht.
Tipp 2:
Wollt ihr mal selbst gärtnern, habt aber keinen Garten? Im Paradiesgarten in der Klosterruine Heilig Kreuz kann jedermann eine Parzelle für den eigenen Gemüseanbau pachten. Hier bekommt Anna ein paar Stückchen Frühling zum mitnehmen.
Tipp 3
Das Weingut Schuh ist ein idealer Ort für Genussmenschen. Weinberg, Vinothek, edle Tropfen und noch dazu eine gute Küche mit frischen Zutaten aus der Region. Chefkoch Aaron Schubbert arbeitet mit frischem Spargel und Zutaten aus dem Elbtal. Anna-Sophie bekommt leckere eingelegte Holunderblüten - und kreiert einen ganzen Teller voll Frühling.

Dazu gehört natürlich der entsprechende Wein vom Weingut!

Ein stilsicheres Accessoire aus der Hand eines Designers - das bekommt Anna-Sophie von Lukas Hummitzsch. Mit 16 gründete er schon sein eigenes Modelabel Lukiis. Doch damit soll noch lange nicht Schluss sein.

Wir starten unseren Rundgang durch Döbeln an der Freiberger Mulde (Sachsen) am Hauptbahnhof. Danach schauen wir uns u.a. das Rathaus, die Nikolaikirche, das Pferdebahnmuseum und den Stiefelbrunnen an.

Zwischen Backnang und Oppenweiler liegt das Naherholungsgebiet Plattenwald.
Wir nutzen den Parkplatz beim Waldheim. Von hier aus sind es nur wenige hundert Meter bis zur Freizeitanlage.
Wenn man das erste mal den Grill- und Spielplatz betritt, wird einem schnell bewusst, dass diese Anlage in einer ganz anderen Liga spielt.
Es ist nicht nur die schiere Größe des Geländes, es sind auch die unzähligen Aktivitäten
die hier angeboten Werden. Neben den teilweise überdachten Grillplätzen und den vielen Spielmöglichkeiten für Kinder, kann hier auch Basketball und Fußball gespielt werden.
Eine besondere Attraktion ist die Top gepflegte Fitnessanlage. Hier können die können Basisübungen wie Dips oder Klimmzüge in allen Varianten trainiert werden.
Rund um das Freizeitgelände befindet sich der Walderlebnispfad.
Seine 12 Stationen verteilen sich auf eine Strecke von etwa 3 Kilometer
Auf dem Erlebnispfad dreht sich alles um die Pflanzen und Tiere unserer Wälder.
An den unterschiedlichen Stationen kann man sein Wissen vertiefen und testen.
Nicht nur geistige, auch körperlich Herausforderungen verlangt der Pfad von einem Ab.
Barfuß laufen, balancieren und auch Eure Fähigkeiten beim Weitsprung sind gefragt.
FAZIT
Ein Besuch im Plattenwald ist auf jeden Fall eine kleine Reise wert.
Die Freizeitanlage mit Grill- und Spielplätzen ist ganz bestimmt eine der größten
und schönsten im ganzen Rems-Murr-Kreis.
Der Walderlebnispfad bietet eine Menge Spaß für Groß und Klein.
Im Plattenwald gibt es noch zahlreiche weitere Ausflugsziele. Die zeigen
wir euch allerdings erst in einer der nächsten Folgen.

Bad Lausick ist ein traditionsreicher und sehr beliebter Kurort mit fast 200 Jahren Kurgeschichte in der in der Nähe von Leipzig. Einerseits können Patienten in zwei Rehakliniken viel Ruhe und Erholung finden. Andererseits hält das moderne Freizeitbad Riff viele Angebote für Bade- und Wellnessgäste bereit. Im Sommer finden im Kurpark zahlreiche Konzerte und Veranstaltungen statt.

Celebrate Jewish pioneers linked to Chicago and the big and small screens, and explore the architectural style of one of the largest mausoleums in this Chicagoland cemetery.
UPDATE (May 2020): In this virtual walking tour, we inadvertently conflate the names and dates of two separate cemeteries: German Waldheim and Jewish Waldheim. Although both cemeteries are located in the same general area in Forest Park, IL, German Waldheim was founded as nondenominational and merged with Forest Home Cemetery in the late 1960s. Jewish Waldheim—the focus of this video—has served Chicago's Jewish population separately since 1870. Thanks to the Historical Society of Forest Park for helping us distinguish between the two.
