Toledo is called the “city of the Three Cultures “as different cultures – Christians, Muslims and Jews – occupied this beautiful city full of cathedrals, mosques and synagogues over the centuries. The Number 1 tourist attraction in Toledo is the 13th century high-gothic Toledo Cathedral of Saint Mary which is considered the finest example of Gothic architecture in Spain. Inside you can find an artwork by El Greco - The Disrobing of Christ. You cannot miss the Alcázar of Toledo, a stone fortification, where the main attraction is the Army Museum. Another must-see place is Alcántara Bridge, which was built at the beginning of the 2nd century and offers you stunning views. Another outstanding sight is The Monastery of San Juan de los Reyes. It was built in the end of 15th century by King Ferdinand II of Aragon and Queen Isabella I of Castile and is open to public. Toledo is a walkable city and looking at its buildings you can easily see how different cultures shaped its present-day architecture. Do not forget to taste Toledo marzipan which is made of almonds. It is sold as a daily snack in various shapes such as little bears or pigs and is a traditional dish.

Bario del Carmen is peaceful during the day and bursting with life at night. It’s one of the most popular areas of Valencia Old Town and a great place to stay. El Carmen is officially located in the north east of the old town behind Plaza de la Virgin and near Torres de Serranos and Torres de Quart.
This part of the medieval old town is famous for the many cafes, bars and restaurants. Calle Caballeros, which is just off the square, is one of the best places to go for nightlife in Valencia. There are many attractions in this area of the old town plus you are also very close to the lovely Turia Gardens.
Plaza del Carmen in Barrio del Carmen is dominated by the medieval church of Carmen and full of fountains and orange trees, this is an idyllic place to spend time exploring the local historic and artistic places of interest. The Convent of Carmen is now a major center for arts and culture in Valencia.
The area is easily accessed from Calle Serranos and if you’re coming from the other side of the Turia Gardens you can reach el Carmen by crossing any of the nearby bridges such as the Puente de Serranos

Valle del Jerte, Comarca de la Vera (Monasterio de San Jerónimo de Yuste), Hervás, Granadilla, las Hurdes, Sierra de Gata, Alcántara, Valencia de Alcántara, ciudad de Cáceres, Trujillo, Guadalupe, Parque Nacional de Monfragüe, etc.
Una gran escapada con preciosos paisajes, Naturaleza, lugares históricos, castillos, iglesias, gente encantadora y buena comida.

The 8 people eat around the kitchen, watching Japanese chef Toshiya Kai and French chef Felix Chaques at work.
Toshi restaurant is listed in the Michelin Guide and has been awarded and received 1 Sol by the Repsol Guide 2022.
There is only one tasting menu available, both for lunch and dinner.
In my case the menu consisted of 8 dishes for a cost of €85 without drinks.
