Many foreigners spent the winter months in Fuengirola, especially Scandinavians seem to love this small town 25 kilometers west of Malaga.
Today we take a walk through Fuengirola. We visit Down Town, Los Boliches, the Beach Promenade and the Tuesday Market.
Fuengirola is a vibrant coastal town located in the province of Malaga, in the Andalusia region of southern Spain. Situated on the Costa del Sol, it is known for its beautiful beaches, lively atmosphere, and rich cultural heritage. Let's explore some key aspects of Fuengirola:
Beaches and Waterfront: Fuengirola boasts an impressive coastline that stretches for approximately 8 kilometers. The town is blessed with sandy beaches, including popular spots such as Los Boliches Beach and Fuengirola Beach (also known as Carvajal Beach). Fuengirola Torreblanca to Los Boliches Spain Wonderful Day March 2023 Costa del Sol | Málaga [4K]
Torreblanca is one the districts of Fuengirola, in Andalucía, southern part of Spain. On the hill on the side furthest east of Fuengirola is the neighbourhood of Torreblanca, easily accessible by bus or car and also by train to the Torreblanca train station. The road up through Torreblanca winds past some very beautiful, established villas with impressive gardens. As with the whole coast, much development has gone on in this area over the last few years and there are now also apartment blocks and many more houses than ten or twenty years ago. However, it has maintained its intrinsic Andalucian country/suburban style and is still very much a favoured area for a peaceful holiday close to the beach, or a good permanent neighbourhood.
One of the privileges of living in this very nice residential area of Fuengirola is the much sought after views from many of the houses and apartments and the tranquil, leafy location of many of the properties. There are shops and facilities close to hand and it is a very short drive to Los Boliches or the town centre for shopping.
Along the long and beautiful promenade of Fuengirola lies the Torreblanca beach. Although it is still a very popular beach, its location, a little further from the city center, makes this beach quieter than others. In it, beautiful views of the sea, good facilities and a wide range of options await you so you don't get bored. As in many of the beaches in the area, the sand in Torreblanca has a striking dark tone. During the summer season, if you are into water sports activities, this beach will not disappoint you, as you can choose from a wide range of options, such as jet skiing, windsurfing and kayaking.
When you're hungry there are plenty of beach bars you can enjoy a good meal without giving up the excellent views of the beach, although the options you will find in the city are also very interesting.

Si quieres disfrutar de unas #playas de lujo pero sin masificar , puedes visitar #torrenostra una pequeña localidad de #castellon , situada entre Peñiscola y Oropesa. No permiten pernoctar en primera linea de #playa , pero si en el resto del municipio. Nosotros hemos pernoctado 3 dias en segunda linea de playa (a unos 200m) con nuestra #camper y se oian perfectamente las olas del mar por las noches. Como siempre a cambio de esta valiosa informacion ya no hace falta que os pida que seais responsables al pernoctar, sed discretos, y respetar las buenas practicas recogidas en el decalogo del movimiento #soykaracol .
