????OUR HOTEL RECOMMENDATIONS IN EACH SPOT
⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯
11. Santiago de Compostela. Hotel Pazo de Altamira is a lovely, modern hotel within a gorgeous old Galician stone building. And it’s right opposite the fabulous market!

10. Jerez de la Frontera. Definitely try and stay at the famous Hotel Casa Grande - a big old mansion with a gorgeous rooftop terrace for drinks -

9. Vera Valley. I would suggest staying in the village Valverde de la Vera and my pick is the cosy and rustic La Picota:

8. Cadaqués. I love Tramantua Hotel, a white-washed gem run by a husband and wife team… service is fantastic, and it’s right in the old city, plus near the beach:

7. Cáceres. We stayed at the budget but good Hotel Iberia Plaza Mayor with views of the square): If you want to stay IN the old city though, the Parador here is a 14th century palace - the full Caceres medieval dream!

6. Oviedo. Prices in Northern Spain are often cheaper, so you can happily get a great hotel here without spending a lot. Check out the excellent Barceló Oviedo Cervantes:

5. Zahara de los Atunes. Either go with Hotel Avenida Playa (simple, clean, and right off the beach - or the slightly more chic Hotel Doña Lola -

4. Las Alpujarras. Casa Rural la Fragua is a gorgeous little tucked away whitewashed apartment in Capileira (either stay here or in Pampaneira). This place is perfect for exploring the villages around the area.

3. El Rocío. I love Hotel La Malvasía with its old-world luxury, the fact it’s only a 5-minutes walk from the famous Santa María del Rocío church and they also have a terrace which is perfect for sunsets.

2. Mejorada del Campo.
Bus info: (take the bus from Conde de Casal). Don’t spend the night there. It’s a day trip. But my favourite Madrid hotels are below (in descending price order):

Pestana Plaza Mayor (right on Plaza Mayor and with a pool) -
Gran Hotel Inglés -
The Pavilions -
Vincci The Mint -
7 Islas -

1. Cádiz. Right in the old town, I love the wonderful Hotel Boutique Convento Cádiz, housed in a renovated 17th century monastery:

Aragon, Spain | City of Zaragoza, Huesca, Teruel | Video 4k drone | Aragon what to see

Aragon, Spain. It turns out that Europe also has places that tourists know little. For example, Aragon (Spain) is a fairly large region with the fewest inhabitants. This video is about this region. Video review of Aragon was shot from a 4k drone. You will be able to see the entire region from a bird's eye view on the video and (believe me) fall in love with these places, surrounded by greenery and flowers of the city. You will be amazed by everything from the natural beauties of the luxurious landscape, magnificent landscapes and stunningly beautiful places to unique ancient sights, temples and palaces.

general information
The Aragon region is located in the southeastern part of Spain. These places will amaze travelers, and everyone will find a place to their liking. Those who are interested in ancient architecture travel to Aragon to see Romanesque temples and Mudéjar art monuments. Excellent national cuisine and excellent wines of Aragon will appeal to many gourmets. The north of the region is a marvelous corner in which the combination of mountain peaks with serene green carpets of the valleys is organic.

Capital
Zaragoza is the capital of Aragon. Everything is beautiful here - from wide boulevards and squares, busy neighborhoods to small lanes and shady squares. Zaragoza began its history from the era of the Romans (they called the settlement Cesaraugusta). It is enough to visit the Roman Forum Plaza de la Seo or look at a fragment of the wall on Avenida Cesar Augusto. Zaragoza is also full of beautiful parks and museums. The unique tapestry museum of La Seo keeps a whole collection of specimens from the 15th-16th centuries, the art museums of Manet and Rubens, and so on.

Nature (landscapes, beautiful places)
The Aragon region has a special nature - many-sided and extraordinary. In the northern part are the Pyrenees, the center is the plains along the Ebro River. The beauty and luxury of nature and landscapes make you dizzy. In Aragon, the territory of the best national park in Spain, Ordesa, is spread.
Many tourists enjoy visiting the thermal springs of Panticos, known since ancient Roman times. The region is famous for waterfalls shrouded in iridescent flashes, blue-eyed clear lakes and winding gorges. Tourists come here to take advantage of specially equipped cycling and hiking trails. The natural landscapes of Aragon also contain many interesting representatives of the fauna. It is here, in the area of Lake Galokanta, that the largest colony of cranes is located. All natural parks and reserves are under state protection.

Major cities (Zaragoza, Huesca, Teruel)
Zaragoza is the capital of Aragon and it is here that the largest number of attractions, interesting buildings and temples are concentrated.
Teruel is considered the second city after the capital and it has the largest number of Mudéjar buildings. It can rightly be called a city-museum of architecture of this style. The city is located at an altitude of 915 meters above sea level. Teruel also has many interesting buildings that Spain can be proud of. The main attraction of the city is the temple of Santa Maria de Teruel. It was built in the 13th century in the Mudéjar style.
Huesca is a city built 10 centuries ago, located at the foot of the Pyrenees in the valley. Like other cities of Aragon, Huesca is a box of architectural masterpieces. There are caves where people lived in ancient times. The building of the cathedral can be considered the most famous in the city. In 1945 the Museum of the Diocese was opened here. Another attraction is the monastery of St. Peter, founded in the 12th century. Pay attention to the building of the Villahermosa Palace, built in the Renaissance style in the 17th century in the very center of the city with a coffered wooden ceiling. There is an arched entrance and a series of semicircular windows.

What to see
Aragon has a lot of attractions and unique natural landscapes. This is the building of the temple of Nuestra Signora del Pilar with rich interior decoration with a grandiose jasper column.
Be sure to visit the natural park Stone Monastery with picturesque waterfalls, lakes and trees that form an oasis covered with greenery. In Teruel there is a tall tower built in the Mudéjar style with an observation deck at the very top.

Sights of Aragon
Zaragoza is famous for the historic center of Casco Viejo, where the baroque basilica of Nuestra Señora del Pilar rises and the Aljaveria Palace. You can visit the famous monastery of San Juan de la Peña. In each city of the Aragon region, you can see a lot of unique sights.

[4kspain] Walking tour TERUEL, famous attractions in teruel, teruel tour, Plaza de El Torico, Aragon

[4k]4k spain walk.Teruel

Walk through the famous tourist attractions of Teruel
It is famous as a city of sad love stories.Feel the beautiful Mudéjar style of this city
Teruel is a city in Aragon, located in eastern Spain, and is also the capital of Teruel Province. It has a population of 35,675 in 2014,making it the least populated provincial capital in the country. It is noted for its harsh climate, with a wide daily variation on temperatures and its renowned jamón serrano (cured ham), its pottery, its surrounding archaeological sites, rock outcrops containing some of the oldest dinosaur remains of the Iberian Peninsula, and its famous events: La Vaquilla del Ángel during the weekend (Friday to Monday) closest to 10 July and Bodas de Isabel de Segura around the third weekend of February. Teruel is regarded as the town of mudéjar (Moorish-influenced architecture) due to numerous buildings designed in this style. All of them are comprised in the Mudéjar Architecture of Aragon which is a World Heritage Site by the UNESCO.
Teruel's remote and mountainous location 915 metres (3,002 feet) above sea level and its low population has led to relative isolation within Spain. A campaign group with the slogan Teruel existe (Teruel exists) was founded in 1999 to press for greater recognition and investment in the town and the province. Due in part to the campaign, transport connections to Teruel were improved with the construction of a motorway between Zaragoza and Sagunto. However, Teruel remains the only provincial capital in peninsular Spain without a direct road or railway link to the national capital, Madrid. A running joke in the Spanish online satirical publication El Mundo Today is that Teruel does not exist.

4K HDR WALK in TERUEL SPAIN | Walking Tour on a Sunny day in Downtown City Center

Hello and welcome to another beautiful city in Spain, Teruel!
Teruel is a high-altitude town in the mountainous Aragon region of eastern Spain. It's known for classic Mudéjar architecture, a style combining Gothic and Islamic elements. Examples include the Santa María de Mediavilla Cathedral, dating to the 12th century, which features an elaborately painted ceiling. The Torre de El Salvador, a 14th-century Mudéjar tower, has an intricate facade and stairs to the top.

Medieval Fair | A Weekend in Teruel, Spain

Teruel is a small city halfway between Valencia and Zaragoza and is known throughout Spain for “las boda de Isabel de Segura” (The wedding of Isabel de Segura), which is an annual, medieval-themed event, with decorated streets and buildings, food stalls, exhibitions, markets, tents of the various guild groups and many people often wearing historically rigorous costumes of the 13th century. It is the hometown of my friend Pablo and I travelled there in a group of 15 people. Together we got to explore the city, learn about Teruel´s history, experience it´s nightlife and we also got to try a home-made paella.

I would like to thank the people that were with me on my journey for making this trip truly unforgettable and sharing their footage with me.

One of the most beautiful towns in Spain even in winter! Cycling in Albarracín (province of Teruel)

The Camino del Cid route is a cultural and tourist itinerary that crosses Spain, retracing the steps of El Cid, a legendary Spanish mediaeval warrior. It begins in Burgos, in the north of Spain, and ends on the Mediterranean coast, in Valencia, after 2000 km.
The route is divided into 11 sections. One of them is called The Three Taifas, which crosses the territories of the former Moorish principalities of Zaragoza, Toledo and Albarracín, from Calatayud as far as Cella, where the Cid recruited the men that would help him conquer Valencia. A fascinating journey that takes visitors through walled cities and intriguing towns such as Albarracín, set against a backdrop of the wild unspoilt landscapes that make up the Alto Tajo Nature Park.
