Takoradi is a beautiful city in the Sekondi-Takoradi metropolitan assembly and the capital of the Western region of Ghana.
The town has so many amazing things to boast of as it is also blessed with an overhead bridge, the first of it kind in the region which is still under construction. We are going to show you aerial videos of some selected areas of the town.

Takoradi houses the harbor and has timber, energy and technology industries. Over the years it has attracted a good number of investors, including miners, as the city is close to the mining towns in the western part of Ghana.
Takoradi has a beach which many are found at the west of the town. The town has a popular street canival which is popular to tourists .
The town also has a tropical Savana climate.
The town is blessed with the Gyandu park for sports activities with the Region having the famous Essipong stadium.

Sekondi-Takoradi Stadium, is a multi-purpose stadium opened in 2008 and has a capacity of 20,000 spectators. It is primarily used for football matches and serves as the home stadium of Sekondi Hasaacas FC. The stadium hosted some matches during the 2008 African Cup of Nations.

My Interesting Staycation Experience at Best Western Atlantic Hotel in Takoradi
From the roadside in Elmina, I hailed a passenger van to Takoradi, the capital city of Ghana's Western Region. The ride took almost three hours and since I got really exhausted I rewarded myself with a heavy lunch at the famous Indian restaurant in the city. Afterwards I checked in at Best Western Atlantic Hotel and had a tour of the various hotel amenities. I've had a wonderful staycation at the hotel and this vlog summarizes my experience for you.
