En esta ocasión visitamos las aguas termales de chiles en Nariño Colombia.
¿Cómo llegar a las aguas termales de chiles ?
Una forma de llegar a las termales de chiles desde cualquier parte de Colombia es llegar al municipio de Cumbal y luego de ahí dirigirte al asentamiento de chiles que esta aproximadamente a una hora en auto.
Estas termales de chiles que visitamos están de cierta manera al pie del volcán chiles al cual le debe su nombre.
Este es uno de los lugares con aguas termales en Nariño que esta de cierta manera cerca a Ipiales y por tanto es un sitio turístico mas de Nariño Colombia

Starting this week I will be publishing a series about Nariño ( and its main tourist destinations. I want to show you this department in which international tourism is minimal today, but which is beautiful and has many things to do.
Nariño is one of the 32 departments of Colombia and is located in the southwest of the country. Nariño is the only department that shares the Pacific Ocean ( the Amazon jungle ( and part of the Andes Mountains ( in its territory. In Nariño you find beach, mountains, canyons, volcanoes, lagoons and more.
Today we are at Laguna de la Cocha in Nariño ( also known as Lake Guamués. It is a natural reservoir located in El Encano Nariño, near Pasto ( and it is the second largest lagoon in Colombia, after the Laguna de Tota.
The Laguna de la Cocha is located at 2,700 meters above sea level and is surrounded by several natural reserves where you can do activities such as bird watching, hiking, kayaking, fishing, and much more. In addition, it is located in a paramo area, so you can enjoy this beautiful ecosystem.
Also, in the middle of the Laguna de la Cocha is the Isla de la Corota ( the smallest natural area protected in Colombia by the system of National Parks of Colombia.

Y finalmente, incluimos también la visita al Cerro Colimba en el Municipio de Guachucal, Nariño (Colombia), desde donde se puede divisar toda la planicie del páramo de Guachucal y su imponente Volcán Azufral.

Buesaco ( is a municipality located in Nariño, it gets this name due to the ethnic group that lived in the territory before the arrival of the Spaniards who conquered the region. It is a town with a lot of history, there the battle of Juanambú ( happened, which was part of the independence battle of Colombia.
In Buesaco there is the Parque Cañon de Juanambú ( where visitors can still find bridges, trenches and refuge caves from the battle. In addition, they can practice activities such as rafting, rappelling, climbing, hiking, kayaking, canopying, camping and swimming in natural pools.

La Ruta Dulce de Nariño | Vía Circunvalar al Volcán Galeras | Batalla de Bomboná | Nariño (Colombia)
Bienvenidos al Canal Emy's Curiosities.
Los invito cordialmente a recorrer esta espectacular vía que rodea totalmente al Volcán Galeras, y conecta a 6 Municipios del Departamento de Nariño (Colombia).
Encontrarán bellos paisajes y a la hermosa Cascada Wilque o Guilque, en el Municipio La Florida.
También encontraran en el video, la visita al sitio histórico denominado Piedra de Bolívar, donde se libró la Batalla de Bomboná en 1822... Justo el día de la publicación de este video, se conmemoran 200 años de esta batalla, en donde el Ejército Patriota al mando del General Simón Bolivar, se enfrentó al Ejército Realista (Español), al mando del Coronel Basilio García, con la ayuda de las milicias pastusas. En esta región los habitantes todavía eran leales al Rey. Con esta victoria del Ejército Patriota, se aseguró la Conquista de Pasto y alrededores..., y se dice que gracias a esto, se evitó que el Coronel García llegara a reforzar las fuerzas realistas de Quito (Ecuador), lo cual seguramente, habría cambiado el resultado de la Batalla de Pichincha, e impedido la libertad del país hermano... Dicen los moradores, que la estigmatización nacional hacia los nariñenses, surgió a raiz de que los habitantes no querían ser Liberados del dominio Español..., pero su explicación es sencilla: El nariñense es leal a su palabra, y en ese momento, habían jurado lealtad al Rey.
