En este video quiero mostrarles los al redores y sitios emblemáticos del pueblo.
Támesis es un municipio de Colombia, localizado en la subregión Suroeste del departamento de Antioquia. Limita por el norte con los municipios de Jericó y Fredonia, por el este con el municipio de Valparaíso, por el sur con los municipios de Caramanta y Jardín y además con el departamento de Caldas, y limita por el oeste con los municipios de Jardín y Jericó. Esta Conformado por dos corregimientos, 37 veredas y un resguardo indígena denominado Miguel Cértiga Tascón.
Támesis is a municipality in Colombia, located in the Southwest subregion of the department of Antioquia. It limits to the north with the municipalities of Jericó and Fredonia, to the east with the municipality of Valparaíso, to the south with the municipalities of Caramanta and Jardín and also with the department of Caldas, and limits to the west with the municipalities of Jardín and Jericho. Cueva del Esplendor en Jardín, Antioquia. Guía completa del 2022.
Esta vez la aventura fue a un pueblo llamado Jardín donde visitamos La Cueva del Esplendor, uno de los atractivos turísticos más importantes de Jardín, Antioquia.
Hoy les contaremos un poquito de este pueblo, el cual queda a unas 3 horas en bus desde la terminal del sur de Medellín, donde es conocido por su variedad de aves, flores y sus ricos dulces regionales. Es un lugar perfecto para conectarte con la naturaleza y olvidarte del caos de la ciudad.
El tour de La Cueva del Esplendor comienza a las 9 de la mañana donde te recogen en unos carros típicos del pueblo (Jeep), esta cueva se encuentra en un área protegida ya que es patrimonio natural de Jardín. El recorrido en el carro es alrededor de unos 50 minutos, luego comienza una caminata de unos 20 minutos hasta la finca Quitasol donde nos dan el desayuno, después de unos 10 minutos de descanso comenzamos a descender otros 20 minutos por un bosque nativo con pendiente pronunciadas,
Luego de atravesar el bosque llegamos a la cueva donde permanecemos unos 50 minutos disfrutando de la fría agua que suele estar a unos 9º luego nos regresamos a la finca quitasol donde nos brindan otro refrigerio, y de ahí de regreso al pueblo.

My backpack on the AT is a Deuter 65+10 ACT Lite, but I found these good ones on Amazon. However I do recommend trying to find a lighter pack for thru-hiking - closer to 2 pounds - (this will be 4-5lbs)
Deuter 50+10L Backpack -
I traveled with a girl throughout SE Asia using this backpack and it did very well for her. It says this one is designed for women because women tend to have wider hips and the bag is designed with this in mind.
Deuter 60+10L Backpack(Women) -
These packs are very heavy though coming in at 5+ pounds. So I'd recommend looking for lighter packs out there even if these are highly durable.
There are a lot of really great lighter weight backpacks as well. Take a look at zpacks, ula, hyperlite, Dan Dursten 40L, Gossamer Gear Mariposa 60 for more great options.
