LEAVING SCOTLAND ????| St Andrews Cathedral & St Rules Tower | Fife Travel Vlog

In our final travel vlog from Scotland and the UK we explore the amazing St Andrews, a gem of Fife and one of the most... ⬇ More Below ⬇

Today we tackle the amazing St Andrews, exploring the cathedral ruins and scoping out the views across St Andrews from atop of St Rules Tower!

As our time in Scotland comes to an end we can't help but feel so impressed, blessed and in love with this country! Fife in particular has blown us away with it's beautiful seaside villages, huge list of things to do and so much going one - not something always associated with the UK.

St Andrews is so much more than just the home of golf - it's got a very special presence and some incredible tales about it's church, cathedral and St Rules Tower as well.

Scotland has definitely been kind to us with the weather, we've had 95% sun during our time in Fife! That's far from normal, but any chance to explore St Andrews in the sunshine is a win in our books. Speaking of our time in Scotland, if you want to see more of our trip here's the full playlist of our time in this epic country —

Sky Princess - Western Europe - Day 7 - St Peter Port, Guernsey

Thank you for joining us as we continue our first ever cruise with Princess Cruises on the stunning Sky Princess. Our cruise was a 7 day trip around Western Europe calling at the ports of La Rochelle in France followed by the ports of Bilbao and La Coruna in northern Spain before heading to St Peter Port on the beautiful island of Guernsey in the Channel Islands on our way back to Southampton.

In this episode, following an amazing sunrise, we arrive at our final port of the cruise, St Peter Port in Guernsey. What a welcome from the local people who give voluntarily of their time to offer advice on what to do & see during your visit ashore. Once again, the weather was perfect and we spent a few hours wandering through the flower filled streets - we were lucky enough to be there during a street festival and there were lots of wonderful singers in various areas entertaining the visitors and locals.

We had a walk along the harbour towards Castle Cornet but as time was running away with us, we did not go inside - maybe on our next visit!! Walking out to the castle did give us some stunning views back towards Guernsey as well as out to sea where Sky Princess was waiting for us to return by tender boat.

If you enjoyed this video and want to be notified of our future travel vlogs, please do like, comment and subscribe - it is free and we really do appreciate it.

SHOCKED by Scotland (it's beautiful!) | Best things to do in Lewis and Harris Island

In this vlog we tour Scotland with Rabbies to the isle of Lewis and Harris, a beautiful island, and find the best things to do ⬇ More Below

We're spending the next few days exploring Scotlands largest island and trying to find the best things to do in Lewis and Harris. We took a tour in England with Rabbies last year also and loved it. So we're back to check out a new country all together. Watch last years series here —

Safe to say that Scotland has completely blown us away - the Isle of Lewis and Harris is stunning! It's a shame more people don't get out to Lewis and Harris when they travel to Scotland though and focus on Isle of Skye instead.

This is our first time in Scotland so all we had to go by was the experience of friends, we'd been told it was going to shock us in the best way possible. They were right. The beaches in Lewis and Harris would probably be considered the best thing to do in our book, not only are they covered in white sand, long and beautiful but they remind us a lot of New Zealand.

Hope this helps if you're planning a trip to Scotland or wanted to specifically know what some of the best things to do in Lewis and Harris.

This is the tour around Lewis and Harris we took, there's plenty of other Rabies Tours also —

Top 5 Attractions in St Andrews, Scotland | Travel Vlog | Covid-19 Post Lockdown Visit Part 3

So here is our story. Hope you enjoy it!
A trip to St Andrews during phase 3 of lockdown in Scotland
For the phase 3 we are allowed to travel across Scotland without any restriction. Yeay!!!
So, last week, me and my wife decided to visit one of the famous tourist attraction in Scotland, St Andrews. It was such a bizzare an interesting experience. Quite different from what we used to. Since, it was the beginning of the phase 3, there wasn't so many people travelling yet.

So, the city was not as crowded as how it usually was. Most of the people are walking with their face covered with mask and within 2 metres distance from each other.
I guess that's the new norma. Most of the shops are still closed and no indoor dining services provided as of the time. Some shops are offering take away or outdoor seating area with limited amount of customer. Indoor tourist attractions such as museums, gallery, aquarium and castles are still closed as well.

Fortunately, it was a sunny day. So, we spent our days outdoor while enjoying the lovely weather. We went to explore St Andrews town centre and had a stop by at our favourite place, Jannettas Galeria to get our favourite ice cream. The queue was unbelievable. We spent almost an hour waiting for our ice cream. It was worth every second. The ice cream was absolutely delicious and would highly recommend it if you are at St Andrews.

However, be careful of the cromars. They are viscious! Make sure to guard the ice cream with your life. Then, we went to have a stroll along the West and East Sands and the Old Golf course club. The views were absolutely stunning. After all, it was an amazing trip. And the free parking was just like the icing on the cake.

Guernsey Seafront Sunday - June 11th 2017

On Sunday the St Peter Port seafront was closed to traffic and transformed into a sea of market stalls and al fresco dining.

Little Chapel St Andrews , Guernsey

Version en français ci-dessous

Art work and labor of love, the Little Chapel is perhaps the smallest church in the world. It was built by the Déodat Brother, who began work in March 1914. His intention was to create a model in miniature of the famous grotto and basilica at Lourdes in France.
Protecting the Little Chapel is provided by Blanchelande Girls' College which is administered by a charitable board. The Little Chapel is beautifully decorated with seashells, pebbles and colorful porcelain fragments carefully inlaid in the walls and ceilings.

Things you might not know about Guernsey ????????

I've been in Guernsey for about a month now, so I decided it was time to finally make a video here! This one is a bit random, showing some of the things I've noticed in Guernsey, but it's also strung out alongside a hike from the Table des Pions, or Fairy Ring, in the extreme west of Guernsey. I'll tell you about the Channel Islands' relationship with the UK, differences between the Bailiwicks of Jersey and Guernsey, the post boxes, traffic filters instead of roundabouts and plenty of other random things about this beautiful little island!

We also stop by the famous Little Chapel to see what all the fuss is about, and I show you a curiosity of Guernsey currency, finished up with a delicious Sunday roast at the Thomas de la Rue, one of my favourite pubs.

I'm here for at least a couple more months, so let me know if you have any video ideas, suggestions or requests in the comments!

Guernsey Traffic Jam - St Saviours Style

One of the rare times we have a traffic jam in Guernsey and I happened to be stuck in it, cor dammie me. Plus it wasn't in a built up area like a lot of people seem to say it happens, but out in the countryside of St. Saviours this time. I thought I'd film it, as this is a special sort of traffic jam. It is of course a farmer moving his lovely cows that's causing the hold up.

I hope you like my homemade siren on the video which was made from my own bodily sounds. This was filmed on the 20th August 2019.

SCOTTISH ROAD TRIP BEGINS ????Exploring Fife — Inchcolm Island & Culross | Scotland Vlog

We're spending the next 4 days exploring the Kingdom of Fife in Scotland - this place is AMAZING to road trip ❤️ Today we travel on the Maid of the Forth ferry for a cruise over to Inchcolm Island to check out the Abbey, then travel to Culross to scope out some famous spots and enjoy dinner.

If you haven't noticed by now, we absolutely love Scotland. The people are so welcoming, the food is delicious, the experiences are varied and the landscapes are breathtaking. The Kingodm of Fife offers all that and more - so here we are for the next 4 days to check it out!

Fife is a stunning coastal region in Scotland, we've seen some of the best little fishing towns and villages. Culross is one of those villages we knew we had to check out - cobblestoned streets, history, great food and movie set material.

First stop for the day though was the Maid of the Forth ferry for a cruise around the Firth of Forth as we make our way over to Inchcolm Island. The Abbey was impressive and things go interesting during seagull nesting season.

Be sure to subscribe to keep an eye out for our next Scotland vlogs as we travel more of Fife.

Scotland's Stunning Coast and Baby Alpacas! | Elie Beach & Lighthouse | Fife Scotland

Fife video 2! Another stunner in Scotland as we head to Claireville Alpacas for some craziness and then onto the Fife Coastal Path to explore Elie beach and Elie Ness Lighthouse. ⬇ More Below ⬇

Is there anything better than a sunny Scotland?? The Kingdom of Fife continues to impress on this visit, each day get's better and today was a real highlight of our trip.

Fife day 2 started off with a visit to Claireville Alpacas for an hour of absolute madness. We took the alpacas for a walk, fed them, hung out with their baby alpacas and then got to meet their crazy unique sheep. Check out Claireville Alpacas here for a hilarious and fun walk or event:

After some food at Bowhouse the sun came out so we hit up a highlight of Fife Coastal Path, Elie. The Elie beach is a magical and calm place, barely anyone there and it was stunning! This is like a 3 in 1 situation bonus, theres the beach, the Elie Ness Lighthouse and the Lady Janet Anstruther's Tower all within a few minutes of each other.
