Tallahassee (/ˌtæləˈhæsi/ TAL-ə-HASS-ee) is the capital city of the U.S. state of Florida. It is the county seat and only incorporated municipality in Leon County. Tallahassee became the capital of Florida, then the Florida Territory, in 1824. In 2010, the population was 181,376, making it the 8th-largest city in the U.S state of Florida, and the 126th-largest city in the United States. Tallahassee is home to Florida State University, ranked the nation's eighteenth best public university by U.S. News & World Report. As the capital, Tallahassee is the site of the Florida State Capitol, Supreme Court of Florida, Florida Governor's Mansion, and nearly 30 state agency headquarters. The city is also known for its large number of law firms, lobbying organizations, trade associations and professional associations, including the Florida Bar and the Florida Chamber of Commerce.[8] It is a recognized regional center for scientific research, and home to the National High Magnetic Field Laboratory. Tallahassee's terrain is hilly by Florida standards, being at the southern end of the Red Hills Region, just above the Cody Scarp. The elevation varies from near sea level to just over 200 feet (61 m), with the state capitol on one of the highest hills in the city. The city includes two large lake basins, Lake Jackson and Lake Lafayette, and borders the northern end of the Apalachicola National Forest.

The flora and fauna are similar to those found in the mid-south and low country regions of South Carolina and Georgia. The palm trees are the more cold-hardy varieties like the state tree, the Sabal palmetto. Pines, magnolias, hickories, and a variety of oaks are the dominant trees. The Southern Live Oak is perhaps the most emblematic of the city.

Well it's Boyle County schools. Yet it's only just a couple miles to town. I'll put it down here if I know what it is. Just want to show you the neighborhood that's just beautiful. Another oldest neighborhood and there's maybe a couple hundred houses in here. They're all wonderful. Prices What you pay value is what you get. You're going to love the value here. The price is right on this house is a great neighborhood solid as can be and volcanic but the value is the location. You go right on out here and make a left and there's the community pool. It's like 250 bucks a year or something like that for the whole family. What a deal is that the kids can walk right their bicycle you can walk. God knows I need the exercise I should be walking and swimming. Anyway the community pool right there and they've got snacks and things like that it's nothing fancy it's not the country club but you're going to love having that as a feature.
