Aachen is a spa city near Germany’s borders with Belgium and the Netherlands. Aachen Cathedral was founded around 800 A.D. and a Gothic chancel was added later.
Its Domschatzkammer (treasury) has medieval artifacts including the shrine of Charlemagne, who was buried here in 814 A.D. Nearby is the baroque town hall, Aachener Rathaus, with 19th-century frescoes. Sulfurous water fills the fountains of Elisenbrunnen.

Biker Ranch Eiffel in Simmerath, Germany
For our rides we are always looking for good, nice stops. And off course, when we find a cool biker stop, we will use it in our rides and tours. But we also want to share those real cool biker stops with you outside the rides and tours.
If we are going to the Eiffel, we always love to stop at the Biker Ranch Eiffel.....hot coffee, good food and always a good bunch of bikers there on a dry day! And we love their typical German currywurst. So, if you're in the area, go and check it out for yourselves.

Hi I'm Muriel and together with my husband Johan I am setting up Quazy Rides to share the fun of road tripping with you. For our rides and tours we are always looking for the best stops, of course. And we are always happy if we can find a true biker stop and then we want to share it with you as soon as possible. So that's why I'm sharing this cool stop: the Biker Ranch here just across the border between The Netherlands and Germany. And we come here quite often if we pass it and today we are here with the Roadking club. If the weather is okay like today there's always a fairly good bunch of other bikers here, because you can have a drink or even a good bite to eat. So a good biker stop!

Aachen is one of our top 10 cities in Germany and worth a visit. Aachen Cathedral is world-famous. And so are the tasty Printen. Aachen is located at the border triangle of Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany. Because of this location, you can feel Europe everywhere you go. We are theTravellers and show you Aachen in 5 minutes.
We start our Aachen tour at the city hall. It's worth taking a look inside. We continue to the Centre Charlemange city museum. On the way through the old town we eat some Printen. We pass the Elisenbrunnen - another landmark of Aachen. A little further out of town is the Lousberg. From here you have a view of the city from above.
If you're in Aachen for the weekend or even longer, e.g. for ERASMUS at rwth Aachen, it's worth taking a day trip to Monschau and the border triangle.

It is located between Maastricht (NL) and Liège (BE) in the west, and Bonn and Cologne[b] in the east. The Wurm River flows through the city, and together with Mönchengladbach. Aachen is well known for being home to the first UNESCO World Heritage Site in Germany - Aachen Cathedral.

Today I am going to show you a beautiful city called Monschau. Its a hilly area in the city of North Rhein Westfalen (NRW), Germany. Its close to Aachen and is very famous for its natural beauty, beautiful lake and trekking hills. Here is Eifel National park and Rursee. I will also be showing you the panaromic view of the valley.
