In Cauca, we meet good musicians and visit two fincas
Which is the most interesting part of Colombia? Extremely hard to say but Cauca is among the candidates for sure. Among its features are: the best of Colombian music, a thrilling mix of indigenous and Afro-Colombian heritage, all kinds of landscapes from Andean highlands to Pacific rainforest, and the absence of international tourism that is common to all parts of Pacific Colombia.

Cali is a Colombian city located in the department of Valle del Cauca, southwest of Bogotá. In this beautiful city you have many things to do and discover, let me introduce some:
The Ermita Church is located on the river, right after the boulevard and the pedestrian zone. There used to be a church in the same place, but it was destroyed by an earthquake in 1925. The current building was built in 1942. The church follows the neo-Gothic style and is an absolute eye-catcher.
Very close to the boulevard and the Ermita church you can find the giant trumpet. Jairo Valera was one of the great salsa masters. Below the trumpet are lyrics by the band Salsa Niche.
The project started in 2011 and the boulevard and pedestrian zone stretches around one kilometer along the center of Cali. The boulevard is a popular meeting place, especially in the afternoon and evening.
The artistic installations by sculptor Hernando Tejada found their place along the Cali River in the center of Cali. The installations were inaugurated in 1996 and have delighted all visitors ever since. The various cats fit perfectly into the environment.
The Caliwood Museum shows the film history of Colombia and abroad and has a variety of historical cameras and players. Tours are in Spanish.

Silvia es un seductor pueblo étnico y cultural, ubicado en las estribaciones de la cordillera central que se fundó en 1562 y que ha forjado el destino de una región indígena y campesina.

Saliendo de La Plata en el Huila, vamos de nuevo hacia Popayán a recoger nuestras maletas y a conocer el bello municipio de Silvia en el Cauca., llamado comunmente La Suiza de América,... Conocida asi por sus hermosos paisajes montañosos, su clima fresco, su cultura indígena, puesto q es el tercer municipio con mas alta población Indígena de Colombia.
Silvia esta conformado por seis grupos de población : la etnia Guambiana, la etnia Páez, la etnia Ambalueña, la etnia Quizgueña, la población Campesina, y la poblacion Mestiza.
