El Valle de Chistau es un precioso ricón del Pirineo de Huesca, situado en pleno Parque Natural Posets Maladeta y muy próximo al Parque Nacional de Ordesa y Monte Perdido.
Se extiende por la cuenca del río Cinqueta, afluente del Cinca, uno de los principales cursos fluviales de Aragón. Se encuentra rodeado de cumbres de entre 2.000 y 3.000 metros de altitud, entre los que destaca la Tuca Llardana (o Posets), que con 3.375 m. es la segunda cumbre más alta del Pirineo. Además, cuenta con abundantes ibones o lagos, como los de Millares, Barbarisa o el ibón de Plan. El visitante puede disfrutar de sus pequeños pueblos, de la tranquilidad y grandeza de las montañas. Contemplación, cultura, senderismo, ascensiones y diferentes actividades de naturaleza y aventura encuentran aquí un espacio ideal.
The Chistau Valley is a beautiful place of the Pyrenees of Huesca, located in the Posets Maladeta Natural Park and very close to the National Park of Ordesa and Monte Perdido.
It extends along the Cinqueta river basin, tributary of the Cinca, one of the main river courses of Aragon. It is surrounded by peaks between 2,000 and 3,000 meters high, among which the Tuca Llardana (or Posets), which with 3,375 m. It is the second highest summit in the Pyrenees. In addition, it has abundant ibons or lakes, such as those in Millares, Barbarisa or Plan's ibón. The visitor can enjoy its small villages, the tranquility and grandeur of the mountains. I was on a layover from the Camino de Santiago (Ruta Norte) in the Basque Country of northern Spain (País Vasco) to rest up from the arduous journey in August, 2020. I took some time to explore the amazing city of Bilbao Spain - another historical and beautiful city in a country full of history and beauty. Whilst exploring Casco Viejo (old town) a noticed there were hardly any tourists in a city that would normally be completely full of tourists in the month of August, especially Casco Viejo. Nonetheless, I take you through the colorful and narrow alleyways, past some interesting sites, and up a hill to a beautiful park that overlooks the city. I will have a second video of Bilbao that shows you the modern part of the city - and you won't want to miss it. It is truly an incredible city and distinct from all other cities in Spain because of the mesh of modern and old architecture. Stay tuned...

The Vizcaya Bridge (Bizkaiko Zubia in Basque, #PuentedeVizcaya in Spanish) is a transporter bridge that links the towns of #Portugalete and #LasArenas (part of Getxo) in the Biscay province of Spain, crossing the mouth of the #NervionRiver. On July 13, 2006, the Vizcaya Bridge was declared a World Heritage Site by #UNESCO. In Spain, it is the only monument in the Industrial Heritage category. #UNESCO considers the bridge to be a perfect combination of beauty and functionality. It was the first to use a combination of iron technology and new steel cables which began a new form of constructing bridges which was later imitated throughout the world. The structure is made of four 61 metre towers which are the pillars and stand on the river banks. The towers are braced by iron cables to the crossbeam and are parallel to the river and by cables following the line of the bridge into the hill behind (on the Portugalete side) and the ground (on the Las Arenas side). The upper crossbeam which lies horizontally, rests between two towers by 70 suspension cables. They also help support a great amount of weight and are supported in the corbels which helps balance the weight. The gondola transports vehicles and they hang from a 36-wheeled caty and is 25m. long. It moves along the rails through the horizontal crossbeam.

Today we are taking a ride on the one of a kind Euskotrain narrow gauge railway in northern spain's basque country. The line is a strange mix of Metro / Regional rail service operating mostly in tunnels in Bilbao and San Sebastian as a metro style service while operating more as a regional rail intercity style train between the cities. Come along for a ride in great scenery while i point out the major issues with the service.
