Schwäbisch Gmünd to Aalen | Germany
Schwäbisch Gmünd is a town in the eastern part of the German state of Baden-Württemberg. With a population of around 60,000, the town is the second largest in the Ostalb district and the whole East Württemberg region after Aalen. The town is a Große Kreisstadt since 1956, i.e. a chief town under district administration; it was the administrative capital of its own rural district until the local government reorganization on 1 January 1973.
There are some institutions of higher education in the city, most notably the Pädagogische Hochschule Schwäbisch Gmünd (University of Education Schwäbisch Gmünd) and the Landesgymnasium für Hochbegabte (State Highschool for gifted children).
Schwäbisch Gmünd was a self-ruling free imperial city from the 13th century until its annexation to Württemberg in 1802.
Aalen is a former Free Imperial City located in the eastern part of the German state of Baden-Württemberg, about 70 kilometers east of Stuttgart and 48 kilometers north of Ulm. It is the seat of the Ostalbkreis district and is its largest town. It is also the largest town in the Ostwürttemberg region. Since 1956, Aalen has had the status of Große Kreisstadt (major district town). It is noted for its many half-timbered houses constructed from the 16th century through the 18th century.
With an area of 146.63 km2, Aalen is ranked 7th in Baden-Württemberg and 2nd within the Government Region of Stuttgart, after Stuttgart. With a population of about 66,000, Aalen is the 15th most-populated settlement in Baden-Württemberg.

WoMo-Wochenende Schwäbisch Gmünd
Unser Ziel für unseren kleinen Wochenendausflug ist das Stauferstädtchen Schwäbisch Gmünd, das malerisch im Remstal ungefähr 50 km entfernt von Stuttgart liegt. Unterhalb der Schwäbischen Alb ist es umgeben von den drei Kaiserbergen und bietet viele wunderbare Wanderungen, Radtouren aber auch Sehenswertes für Kulturbegeisterte. Wir besuchen das Städtchen mit seiner goldenen und silbernen Vergangenheit und die beeindruckende Felsenkirche Sankt Salvator. Im Erholungsgebiet Himmelsgarten weckt eine Holzkugelbahn das Kind im Manne und wir haben Spaß im kleinen Dinopark. Dann spazieren wir über das Kalte Feld zum fantastischen Aussichtspunkt, der heute leider benebelt ist.

Camper-Weekend Schwäbisch Gmünd
Our destination for our little weekend trip is the Staufer town of Schwäbisch Gmünd, picturesquely situated in the Rems Valley about 50 km from Stuttgart. Below the Swabian Alb, it is surrounded by the three imperial mountains and offers many wonderful hikes, cycling tours but also sights worth seeing for culture enthusiasts. We visit the little town with its golden and silver past and the impressive rock church of St. Salvator. In the Himmelsgarten recreation area, a wooden ball track awakens the child in you and we have fun in the small Dinopark. Then we walk across the Kalte Feld to the fantastic viewpoint, which is unfortunately foggy today.

Driving in Germany: Bundesstraße B29 from Schorndorf to Schwäbisch Gmünd
In this video you can ride along on Bundesstraße B29 from Schorndorf to Schwäbisch Gmünd in Germany's Baden-Württemberg state. The B29 is an important metropolitan expressway and has a 2 x 2 alignment from Waiblingen to Schwäbisch Gmünd. There are plans to expand this all the way to the city of Aalen, which is situated on Autobahn A7 much further East.
In fact, a part of B29 expansion is already under construction near the city of Aalen. I will feature the B29 between Schwäbisch Gmünd and Aalen in a future video on the channel.
Schorndorf is a historical city about 20-25 kilometers from Stuttgart. It's the birthplace of Gottlieb Daimler, one of the founding fathers of the automobile and Mercedes-Benz / Daimler. Schwäbisch Gmünd is a small city about 50 kilometers out from Stuttgart. It has a nice historical city center and is home to quite a few offices from larger companies in the area.

Germany - Visiting Schwabisch Hall and Ellwangen
This one is long overdue. End of 2022, one week before Christmas, I embarked onto my first trip out of the borders of my country. Now, multiple conditions might not have been on my side, but inspite of that I got to visit a couple of Southern cities in this beautiful country. The footage alone Is not able to totally make you feel the way I felt there (although I tried).
Beautiful culture, nice people (although idk why they refuse to speak English), amazing well kept architecture, rich history, clean well maintained no speed limit roads, so many things to talk about: the good the bad, the less nice. I tried to put up only the better parts of what I have seen, but all in all, THIS is truly a country that is worth visiting!
Attention: This is rather a vlog, I wanted to film something every day I was there even if not every day I got to visit something new. I spent the days preceding and the Christmas with my sister there and it was very nice.
I know these tend to be longer videos, but trust me there is something to see at every corner, especially due to the fact that culture and tradition seem to be well kept in this Bavarian area. AND! I got to visit these parts around Christmas which makes it even more lovely due to decorations and all.
As always, filming with my phone, editing on my tablet, nothing more, I really felt the need for larger sensors especially giving the fact that a lot of footage is at night and some shots are pretty grainy. I am sorry for that.
My budget does not yet allow me to get a professional camera, although some places are more accessible while filming on a smaller device. I know a larger sensor on a bigger lens and maybe a last generation GoPro or a 360 camera would help tremendously... I don't have that yet. Until then you can leave in the comments what I could have done to do a better job, filming and editing wise (except lenght, that I know).
Germany everyone! I hope you all approach these clips with at least half of enthusiasm as I did boarding that plane!

Visiting Schwäbisch Hall in Germany in January 2022
Shortly after New Year's Day 2022, I went on a little excursion to an area I had not yet been to. I drove through the city of Schwäbisch Hall. This city was different than I had imagined before and I walked a little through the old town. In the old town there are very many almost 500 year old houses to see.
