The Netherlands (aka Holland) has an abundance of windmills; at least 1,200 of them! Here are just few found in a town called Zaanse Schans. this clip is raw and has not been edited. It is straight off of my professional dslr, the Canon 5D MII (5d Mark II).
Monnickendam, Netherlands
Monnickendam is a beautiful small harbor town, one hour by bicycle from Amsterdam. This route is one of the most beautiful in the Netherlands.
It is a part of the municipality of Waterland, and lies on the coast of the IJsselmeer, about 8 km southeast of Purmerend. It received city rights in 1355 and suffered a lot of damage during the fires of 1500 and 1513. Monnikendam was also the name of a number of warships - mainly built at the port of that name - during the Anglo-Dutch Wars.
Breeschoterpad Klompenpad
'Ontdek het mooie buitengebied van Renswoude en Scherpenzeel. Wandelen door het agrarische gebied, over landgoederen, langs boerenerven en delen van de Grebbelinie. Klompen aan, rugzak op en gaan!' Dit zegt de klompenpaden website als inleiding op het Breeschoterpad bij Renswoude.
Het is een kort (6 km) en afwisselend klompenpad dat goed te combineren is met het Jufferpad en het Daatselaarsepad. Als deze klompenpaden beginnen op hetzelfde punt.

Leusden city trip #6: the oldest part of the town (Hamersveldseweg) (NL)
The main north-south route in the town of Leusden is located on the west side of the town: the Groene Zoom. We have seen this route in the second video of this series about my hometown Leusden.
The Groene Zoom was opened in the early 1980s. Before that, through north-south traffic went via the Hamersveldseweg. This road is located in the central part of the town of Leusden, starts on the north side at the Valley Canal, goes along the oldest part of Leusden (the former Hamersveld), passes the current village center and the former Amersfoort-Nijmegen railway line and finally ends at De Boom Estate.

De belangrijkste noord-zuid route in de plaats Leusden is gelegen aan de westkant van de plaats: de Groene Zoom. Deze route hebben we gezien in de tweede video van deze serie over mijn woonplaats Leusden.
De Groene Zoom is begin jaren 80 opengesteld. Daarvoor ging het doorgaande noord-zuid verkeer via de Hamersveldseweg. Deze weg ligt in het centrale deel van de plaats Leusden, begint aan de noordkant bij het Valleikanaal, gaat langs het oudste deel van Leusden (het voormalige Hamersveld), passeert het huidige dorpscentrum en de voormalige spoorlijn Amersfoort-Nijmegen en eindigt uiteindelijk bij Landgoed De Boom.

DBGC stond na 3 minuten al met 1-0 achter en moest in de achtervolging. Jeroen maakte 1-1 en Bas schoot voor rust de 1-2 keihard binnen.
Na rust maakte Bas snel de 1-3 en na een fout in de verdediging schoof Jeroen de 1-4 binnen.
DBGC moest hierna nog een half uur stand houden. De verdediging van DBGC kraakte en Roy hield een paar onmogelijke ballen uit het doel. Uiteindelijk trok DBGC de 1-4 over de streep.
Dag 10 fietstocht naar de Sallandse Heuvelrug
vanaf onze CP in Heeten van de Fam. Berenpas (Sitecode: 6536) zijn we een rondje gaan fietsen naar de Sallandse Heuvelrug.
De temperatuur zou vandaag oplopen naar rond de 30º maar als je op de fiets zit is dat toch heel anders, niet zo heet en goed uit te houden. vooral omdat je veel onder de bomen fietst ????????????

Peaceful Walk in Monnickendam ⛅ | The Netherlands - 4K60
Walking scenes around this pittoresque little city. It received city rights in 1355 and was an important city in the 14the century and had a big rivalry with Amsterdam :)
The well-preserved and attractive historical centre, attracting mainly day trippers from Amsterdam. Probably not so well known to foreign tourists, who tend to head straight for Volendam, Edam or Marken but I think it's well worth a visit.
