Today's video is about our visit to the Jennerbahn at Königssee. Someyears back we did the boat tour here to the very famous church st.Bartheloma.

Jennerbahn cable car will take you up Mount Jenner to an altitude of 1,874 meters, where you can have magnificent views and memorable experience.

Unser Kurzurlaub in Berchtesgaden in Schönau am Königssee.
Unterkunft: Hotel Bärenstüberl in Schönau
Schönau am Königssee ist eine Gemeinde im Landkreis Berchtesgadener Land.
Von dort aus kann man viele Wanderungen, E-Bike-Touren, Bootsfahrten und weitere Unternehmungen machen.
Egal ob mit der Jennerbahn auf den Jenner oder zu verschiedenen Klammen (Almbachklamm, Wimbachklamm)

- Gipfelkreuz auf dem Jenner
- Aschauer Klamm in Schneizlreuth (hat eine Länge von rund 2,5 km)

Der Obersee ist nur durch das überqueren des Königssees zu erreichen.
Hier schippert man am Kloster St. Bartholomä vorbei, bei dem man ebenfalls aussteigen kann.
Um zum Obersee zu gelangen, steigt man an der Anlegestelle Salet aus.
Hier läuft man ca. 15 Minuten
Wer weiter läuft, trifft auf Deutschlands höchsten Wasserfall. Den Röthbachwasserfall mit ca. 450 m höhe.

The Königssee is a natural lake in the extreme southeast Berchtesgadener Land district of the German state of Bavaria, near the Austrian border.
Most of the lake is within the Berchtesgaden National Park.
Situated within the Berchtesgaden Alps in the municipality of Schönau am Königsee, just south of Berchtesgaden and the Austrian city of Salzburg, the Königssee is Germany's third deepest lake.
Located at a Jurassic rift, it was formed by glaciers during the last ice age.
It stretches about 7.7 kilometres in a north-south direction, and is about 1.7 kilometres across at its widest point.
Except at its outlet, the Königsseer Ache at the village of Königssee, the lake is similar to a fjord, being surrounded by the steeply-rising flanks of mountains up to 2,700 metres, including the Watzmann massif in the west.
The lake is noted for its clear water and is advertised as the cleanest lake in Germany.
For this reason, only electric-powered passenger ships, rowing, and pedal boats have been permitted on the lake since 1909.
Swimming is permitted except in the lock area at Seelände.
Due to its picturesque setting, the lake and surrounding parklands are very popular with tourists and hikers.
In addition, the surrounding sheer rock walls create an echo known for its clarity.
On boat tours, it has become traditional to stop and play a flugelhorn or trumpet to demonstrate the echo.
Previously demonstrated by shooting a cannon, the echo can be heard to reverberate up to seven times.
The trumpeter plays along with the returning sounds, so that there seem to be as many as seven players.
St. Bartholomä, a famous pilgrimage church with an inn nearby, is located on a peninsula about halfway down the western lake shore.
The small Christlieger island is located near its northern end.
South of the Königssee, separated by the Salet moraine, is the smaller Obersee lake with the 470 metres high Röthbach waterfall.
Because there is no lakeside path on the steep shore of the Königssee, St. Bartholomä and the southern edge can only be reached by boat, or via hiking trails up the surrounding mountains, except during harsh winters when the lake freezes over.
Stepping on the ice, however, can be fatal, as it was for a motorist who, in winter 1964, drowned in his Volkswagen Beetle on the way back from St. Bartholomä.
The car was found only in 1997 at a depth of about 100 m.

Nach der herrlichen Wanderung am Malerwinkel Rundweg entlang, kommen wir an der Jennerbahn und an dem Restaurant Jennerkaser vorbei. Schöne Eindrücke zum genießen. Danach fahren wir nach Berchtesgaden und sehen uns die Innenstadt an. Bei einem fantastischen und sehr leckeren Eisbecher im La Fontana lassen wir es uns gut gehen. Berchtesgaden ist auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert. Eine wunderschöne kleine Stadt mit einer malerischen Fußgängerzone, vielen schönen Plätzen und interessante Sehenswürdigkeiten. Am Abend geht´s wieder zurück nach Schönau am Königssee. Ein leckeres Abendessen mit genialer Pasta und Pizza in der Pizzeria Salento wartet auf uns. Es war wie immer einfach hervorragend! Die besten Grüße an Adriana und Francesco! Wir freuen uns schon auf´s nächste mal! Am nächsten Morgen ist der Himmel wolkenverhangen, aber auch das hat am Königssee seinen Reiz. Sehr früh machen wir uns auf zur Seelände, der Anlegestelle am See und fahren mit dem Schiff in Richtung St. Bartholomä. Was uns dort alles erwartet, seht Ihr dann im 3. Teil, wenn Ihr Lust darauf habt. Es geht auf eine abenteuerliche Wanderung, die mit einem tollen Natur Highlight endet...bis dann, ciao

Nationalpark Berchtesgaden, Schönau am Königssee, Schifffahrt
Der Nationalpark Berchtesgaden erstreckt sich über einen Großteil der Gemeindeflächen von Ramsau bei Berchtesgaden und Schönau am Königssee sowie über einen kleinen Teil des südöstlichen Gemeindegebietes von Berchtesgaden. Er wird im Osten, Süden und Südwesten vom österreichischen Bundesland Salzburg begrenzt. Nach der Gliederung der Naturräumlichen Haupteinheiten Deutschlands gehört das Gebiet des Nationalparks zu den Berchtesgadener Alpen in den Nördlichen Kalkalpen.
An den Park, der sich auf einer Höhe von 603,3 (Königssee) bis 2713 m ü. NHN (Watzmann) befindet, schließt sich im Norden das rund 259 km² große Nationalparkvorfeld (Alpenpark Berchtesgaden) an, das neben den Gemeinden Ramsau und Schönau auch Berchtesgaden, Bischofswiesen und Marktschellenberg umfasst. Ein noch größeres Gebiet bildet das Biosphärenreservat bzw. die „Biosphärenregion Berchtesgadener Land“.
Die Grenze des Nationalparks verläuft vom Jenner gut 1 km ostwärts und biegt dann um das Skigebiet herum nordwärts zum Mannlgrat und über diesen zum Hohen Göll. Ab hier folgt sie konsequent der deutsch-österreichischen Grenze bis zur Neuen Traunsteiner Hütte auf der Reiter Alm. Von hier aus schließt sie den gesamten Osten des Hochplateaus ein, um dann knapp nördlich des Schottmalhorns zum Hintersee abzufallen. In der Ramsau verläuft die Grenze knapp südlich von Hintersee und Ramsauer Ache ostwärts an den Nordhängen von Hochkalter und Watzmann entlang wieder zum Jenner, wobei das äußerste Nordende des Königssees ausgespart wird.
Die höchste Erhebung innerhalb des Nationalparks ist der Watzmann, das zentrale Bergmassiv der Berchtesgadener Alpen. Besonders zu erwähnen ist noch das Wimbachgries, ein Tal, das nach einer geologischen Theorie durch den Einsturz eines Gewölbes über Watzmann und Hochkalter entstanden ist. Es ist mit einer bis zu 300 Meter dicken Schuttablagerung gefüllt, die sich über eine Länge von zehn Kilometern erstreckt. Berchtesgaden Milli Parkı Berchtesgaden və Schönau am Königssee yaxınlığındakı Ramsau bələdiyyə ərazilərinin böyük bir hissəsini, eləcə də Berchtesgadenin cənub-şərq bələdiyyə ərazisinin kiçik bir hissəsini əhatə edir. Şərqdən, cənubdan və cənub-qərbdən Avstriyanın Zalsburq əyaləti ilə həmsərhəddir. Almaniyanın əsas təbii məkan vahidlərinin təsnifatına görə, milli parkın ərazisi Şimali Əhəngdaşı Alplarında Berchtesgaden Alplarına aiddir.
Dəniz səviyyəsindən 603,3 (Königssee) ilə 2713 m yüksəklikdə olan park. NHN (Watzmann), təxminən 259 km²-lik böyük milli parkın ön ərazisi (Alpenpark Berchtesgaden) şimala birləşdirilir, bura Ramsau və Schönau, həmçinin Berchtesgaden, Bischofswiesen və Marktschellenberg icmalarını əhatə edir. Daha böyük ərazi biosfer qoruğu və ya Berchtesgadener Land biosfer bölgəsidir.
Milli parkın sərhədi Jennerdən 1 km şərqə doğru uzanır və sonra xizək sahəsinin ətrafında şimala doğru Mannlgrat'a və oradan da Hohen Göllə doğru əyilir. Buradan o, ardıcıl olaraq Almaniya-Avstriya sərhədini Reiter Alm üzərindəki Neue Traunsteiner Hütte-ə qədər izləyir.Buradan Şottmalhorndan şimalda Hinterseyə enməzdən əvvəl yüksək yaylanın bütün şərqini əhatə edir. Ramsau'da sərhəd Hintersee və Ramsauer Ache'nin cənubundan şərqə doğru Hochkalter və Watzmann'ın şimal yamacları ilə Jenner'ə qayıdır və Königssee'nin həddindən artıq şimal ucunu tərk edir.
Milli parkın ən yüksək hündürlüyü Berchtesgaden Alp dağlarının mərkəzi massivi olan Watzmanndır. Geoloji nəzəriyyəyə görə, Watzmann və Hochkalter üzərindəki tonozun çökməsi nəticəsində yaranan Wimbachgries vadisi xüsusi qeyd olunmağa layiqdir. Qalınlığı 300 metrə çatan, on kilometrə qədər uzanan dağıntı yatağı ilə doludur. Bütün Almaniyada ən aşağı temperaturun müntəzəm olaraq qışda ölçüldüyü dağ gölü olan Funtensee də Berchtesgaden Milli Parkının ərazisində yerləşir.
