In this video you will see:
- Las Teresitas Beach is the most emblematic beach in Tenerife. This artificial sandy beach is about 1,5 kilometers long with calm waters thanks to the breakwaters, making it an ideal option for families with children. You will find all the amenities right on the beach (showers, lifeguards, disabled access) with a lot of parking places and some beach bars.
- Acantilados de Los Gigantes (Cliffs of the Giants) are vertical cliffs along the western coast of Tenerife. They are vertical walls reaching heights of 500 meters in some places. The Giants, a grand part of the natural heritage of Tenerife, is a great spot for nature lovers.
- Access to the coast of El Sauzal. The access road for vehicles is located at the entrance to the Las Breñas. Summer hours: from 08:00 to 22:00. Hours for the rest of the year: from 08:00 to 19:00.
The parking area is made up of 8 parking lots for motorcycles, with unlimited hours and 31 parking lots for cars, subdivided into: some with limited hours, restricting their use to two hours and others with unlimited hours.
- Garachico is located in the north of the island of Tenerife. The town offers visitors the opportunity to explore one of the oldest villages in the Canary Islands. Founded at the end of the 15th Century by a Genoese banker, it was a key trading port for commercial traffic between Europe and the Spanish colonies in the Americas. Destroyed in 1706 by a volcanic eruption, Garachico is one of the most beautiful towns in Tenerife. The natural pools El Caleton are extremely popular during the summer months when tourists and locals come here to swim. These pools were formed after the 1706 volcanic eruption.
- Castro Beach is located in the north of Tenerife in the region of Los Realejos. This beach is relatively hidden and must be reached through the protected area of the Rambla de Castro.
Here you can find the only beach with a waterfall on Tenerife island and with a hidden cave. From the viewpoint San Pedro you can take one of the 2 trails leading you down to the beach. Tip - Before going to Playa de Castro make sure that it is low tide, otherwise the sandy beach is hidden under water and just rocky.
- Loro Park is one of the best modern zoos in the world. At Loro Park you can watch the orcas and the dolphins with their top performance. The Park is famous for its many parrots which you can view and enjoy as you move around the park. There are also plenty of other shows and sights - sea lions, parrots, pelicans, chimps and even sharks. Siam Park known as the best water park in Europe needs no further introduction.
- Anaga Rural Park is a natural jewel of the island of Tenerife. This mountainous region full of craggy peaks and deep ravines was declared a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve in 2015. This area is the oldest part of Tenerife as it was formed by a volcanic eruption 7 to 9 million years ago. Here you will find Tenerife's most wonderful areas of laurel forests. Here you can experience hiking, mountain biking, horse riding or if you are more of a sea lover, make the most of the area's good winds by going sailing, diving, crown the Atlantic's powerful waves on a surf board, steer a kayak wherever you want. Attention: Inside the Park there are several specially protected areas where access is restricted.
- Mil Ventanas de Güimar is without a doubt one of the most unique and amazing hikes in the world really. With its dark tunnels, narrow paths, steep vertigo-inducing drop-offs, incredible views, it has everything a true adventurer may desire. I wouldn’t recommend it to people who suffer from claustrophobia or extreme fear of heights. Also, keep in mind that this is not an official trail and is not maintained. To put it simply, if you do this hike, you do it at your own risk.
- Masca Village is generally considered Tenerife's prettiest village, and outside the hours of 11am and 5pm, when streams of crowds visit the village, it's hard to argue with this opinion. The Barranco de Masca is one of the most popular hiking trails in Tenerife, Canary Islands. The hike is difficult, and you must be in good physical condition to do it, but I assure you that it’s well worth it!
The access to the trail is restricted and you need to visit before
Hiking Teide by Night and seeing the sunrise from 3718 meters high was the most impressive experience in Tenerife.

The Canary Islands are located off the west coast of Africa in the Atlantic Ocean and Santa Cruz de Tenerife is it's joint capital! The city is the center of maritime industry and tourism and with sub tropical temperatures round the year, its easy to fall in love with this place.
Besides opting for one of the several low-cost airlines which serve the islands, you can also cruise your way here by taking a ferry from mainland Europe. Once arrived at the docks, it's a quick 5 minute walk to the center, which is also known as Plaza de Espana!
The plaza's location on the seafront makes it a good meeting place and a great starting point when exploring the city. The Plaza de Espana is a mega photo point for all the visiting tourists. There are several monuments here with the most distinctive being the memorial dedicated to the 39 residents of the island who fought and died on Franco's side in the Civil War in the 1930s.
As you can see, the center is so close to the marina and the ferry port that you can actually see the ships from here! Another nice thing about the city is that it's very WiFi friendly! In fact, the center is actually a free wifi zone set up by the town hall and I was told that on hot days, you'd often see locals and tourists alike sitting at a square with their feet dipped in water and tapping away on their smartphone screen for hours!
I really liked this location! It was also very close to the main shopping streets with several cafes and restaurants alongside.
The Market of Nuestra Señora de Africa - best place to buy the most fresh produce from this island for example bananas, tomatoes, papayas, cheese and so on. We'll go after exploring the walking street!
About the walking street, speaking to some locals I found out that this street has some really high end expensive shops and they're mostly aiming at the tourists i.e. the locals mostly come here for window shopping or for a casual stroll but not really for actual shopping. I think this is the same for most of the walking streets world wide! The locals are smart and they know better!
Anyway, did you know that Tenerife is home to more than one million people? Yeah, that's right. In fact, nearly half of the residents of Tenerife live in this city. For me this was hard to imagine because I hardly saw any people when traveling around the island away from the center!
It's a small island, travel time is less and there are excellent bus services to other parts of the island! So I think a lot can be done within a short time period! Also, I think 1 day is more than enough to explore Santa Cruz, what do you say?

Hola mis chamos. Hoy los quiero llevar a conocer mi parte favorita de Tenerife España : Tenerife Norte la región más verde de la isla y para mí, la más bonita. Acompáñenme a descubrir los bellos paisajes del Parque Rural de Anaga hasta llegar a Taganana y a la salvaje Playa de Benijo en Tenerife Norte. Seguiremos hacia la Punta del Hidalgo, un lugar precioso y tranquilo, y culminaremos viendo el atardecer en Tacoronte y El Sauzal, dos rincones insospechadamente bellos de la Isla. Day trip excursion from El Sauzal over Taro Parque to Puerto de la Cruz, located in the North of Tenerife, Spain (Canary Islands).
El Sauzal, a quiet village with great views of Teide and the Atlantic Ocean, is located halfway between Santa Cruz and Puerto de la Cruz.
Taoro Parque / Taoro Park lies on Taoro mountain and offers great panoramic views on Puerto de la Cruz next to beautiful gardens, paths, fountains and waterfalls.
Tenerife’s main tourist resort in the north is Puerto de la Cruz. Puerto is the municipality in the northern part of the island of Tenerife (Canary Islands, Spain), northwest of La Orotava and west of Santa Cruz.
Most parts of the video were shot at Playa de Martianez and Playa Jardin, small town beaches.
Playa Jardin, the city beach of Puerto de la Cruz, is located on the edge of Puerto de la Cruz. Playa de Martianez can be found more central, close to H10 Hotel.

Heute möchte ich euch mit auf die Reise nehmen zu einem der schönsten Plätze in El Sauzal auf Teneriffa. Wir machen einen Spaziergang zu dem schönen Parque de Los Lavaderos einem unbekannten Juwel in El Sauzal.
Dieser wunderschöne Park befindet sich auf einer Steilküste in einer Höhe von ca. 200 Meter. Früher wurde dieser wunderschöne Park als Waschplatz für die Bewohner genutzt. Da es hier durch die Quellen genügend Wasser gab, war das der ideale Ort um Wäsche zu waschen. Das Wasser der Quelle wurde über Rinnen und Kanäle in verschiedene Becken geleitet. Heute zählt er zu den schönsten Plätzen von El Sauzal.
Wie gelangt man zu diesem schönen Park? Nicht weit entfernt von Puerto de la Cruz liegt der schöne Ort El Sauzal. Über die TF-5 ist man in kurzer Zeit in diesem bezaubernden Ort. Leider konnte ich nirgendwo ein Hinweisschild finden, wo genau sich dieser atemberaubende Parque de Los Lavaderos befindet.
Laut Navigationssystem wird man zur Ortsmitte geleitet bis zu kleinen Kirche und danach heißt es ... Ihr Ziel befindet sich auf der rechten Seite.
Wir konnten das Ziel nicht sehen und haben uns deshalb bei Einheimischen erkundigt. Er liegt gar nicht weit vom Ortszentrum entfernt, jedoch ist er etwas versteckt. Dort angekommen geht es durch ein kleines Tor die vielen Stufen hinunter. Eine tolle Aussicht über die Küste bis hin zum Teide. In der Mitte des Parks befindet sich ein kleines schönes Café von wo man die tolle Aussicht genießen kann.
Für Naturliebhaber ist dieser Parque de Los Lavaderos der perfekte Ort. Eine üppige Vegetation und plätschernde Wasserfälle warten auf euch. Man sollte gut zu Fuß sein, denn es gibt einige Treppen, die zu bewältigen sind.

Are you ready for a hike in the beautiful north of Tenerife?! Then come along ????????
Today we follow “Sendero Las Breñas” (path Las Breñas), and we walk along costa el Sauzal (Sauzal coast). This is such a gapped way to recharge and connect with nature, this place offers beautiful views all along. The path is more difficult at the beginning but nothing crazy (there were children 7-8 yo kids doing it), do wear the right shoes, take some water and food with you!

Trotz der aufwendigen Gestaltung weiter Teile, läuft man hier meistens allein durch die Gegend.
