Small and exceptionally clean beach. There are no hotels in the town and therefore no tourists.
Only local Spaniards have a rest.
There is an electric train station 10 meters from the beach.
Highly recommend for a good stay.

San Andrés de Palomar (in Catalan and officially Sant Andreu de Palomar ) is a neighborhood and the oldest part of the district of San Andrés of Barcelona . Old independent municipality with more than 1000 years of documented history, it was annexed to Barcelona on April 20, 1897.
It has an area of 174 hectares and has a population of about 55,000 inhabitants. Its limits are: Rovira i Virgili street, old Riera de Horta, Santa Coloma promenade, Meridiana avenue , and railroad tracks.
The first written notice dates from 992 , the year in which an exchange document of an inheritance is signed and in which a place called Palomar is mentioned. In 1034 the names of Saint Andrew, patron of the parish, and Palomar appear together. The limits of the old town of San Andrés de Palomar ran through the Besós river to the Collserola mountain range , and from Moncada and Reixach in the north to San Martín de Provensals in the south. The Horta stream was the division with the neighboring municipality of San Martín. Located on a plain with fertile land, its main activity was agriculture. Irrigation was possible thanks to the Acequia Condal , a canal that around 954 had Count Miró I built to conduct the water from Moncada to Barcelona. During the eleventh , twelfth and thirteenth centuries , a first nucleus of houses was built around the church.
In the 16th century , one can already speak of farmhouses scattered around the demarcation of the town of San Andrés de Palomar. The San Andrés peasantry originated from the leasing or cession of land by an organized middle class. Over time, the different streets around Calle Mayor, the old Roman road, were formed. The industrialization that took place at the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century led to the establishment of important companies in San Andrés, such as the Fabra and Coats textile, La Maquinista , Fabricación Nacional de Colorantes, and a large number of small companies and workshops. Llafranc is one of three coastal towns belonging to the municipality of Palafrugell, province of Girona, Spain, the other two being Calella de Palafrugell and Tamariu. It is part of the Costa Brava, the coastal region of northeastern Catalonia, in the comarca of Baix Empordà.
Many domestic tourists come from nearby Barcelona, while the international tourists come from a whole range of countries, especially the Netherlands, England, France, and more recently the United States. Llafranc is within easy walking distance of other, similar towns, such as Calella de Palafrugell.
The Hotel Llafranc dominates the main sea promenade and was popular with artists such as Salvador Dalí and Ernest Hemingway. The English writer Tom Sharpe was also a resident of Llafranc.
El Far is the most popular residence in Llafranc, located 1.5 km north of the beach on a steep hill overlooking the beach and town. El Far has a lighthouse, hotel and large development with communal pool.

Es un municipio del Maresme que tiene la singularidad de ser el de menor extensión del país.Protegido por la sierra Litoral,
cuenta con cuatro playas de bandera azul. En Caldes empieza la ruta de las 3 villas que transcurre también por ant Andreu de Llavaneres y Sant Vicenç de Montalt.Sus inicios se remontan al siglo XIII, levantado alrededor de un antiguo hospital y de una iglesia. El emplazamiento de una fuente de aguas termales, dio el nombre al municipio. Desde 1870 hasta 1920, Caldetes, vivió una primera edad de oro, al ser centro de veraneo de la burguesía catalana. Importantes poetas y escritores catalanes como Apel·les Mestres, Joan Maragall, Jacinto Verdaguer o Josep Palau i Fabre, vivieron en el municipio. Aunque se considera que el diminutivo de Caldetes, (aplicado especialmente al barrio marítimo o vila nova) nació en el siglo XVIII, el nombre ya fue utilizado el año 1600, en la Geografía de Cataluña de Pere Gil. Durante la Guerra civil española Caldetes fue considerada ciudad abierta por tener varias embajadas dentro del municipio, lo que significaba que no podía ser bombardeada.
Uno de los principales atractivos de Caldes d'Estrac son sus baños termales que datan del s.XIX. También podemos visitar las casas de can Bastos y can Gili, darnos un paseo por el parc Muntanyà o ver las varias torres de vigía que se encuentran por el pueblo.Su fiesta mayor se celebra el primer o segundo fin de semana de septiembre en honor a la Virgen del Remedio.
Sus Playas son preciosas con aguas tranquilas y arena dorada. Cuentan con la distinción de bandera azul.
La más importante es la Playa Els Tres Micos también es conocida como Platja dels Anglesos(Playa de los Ingleses). Con una longitud de 600 metros y una anchura de 40 metros, esta playa se diferencia de muchas otras por su arena dorada y aguas tranquilas con su paseo marítimo de nivel enmarcado por algunas torres modernistas.Se puede caminar hasta Sant Andreu de Llavaneres por la derecha del hotel Colón en el llamado Paseo de los ingleses.
