This stage commences at Sangju Sangpunggyo, passing through Sangjubo, Nakdanbo, Gumibo, and Chilgokbo
The biking route traverses four of the Nakdong River's eight weirs, specifically Sangju, Nakdan, Gumi, and Chilgok weirs
Gumi, ranking as the second-largest and most densely populated city in Gyeongsangbuk-do, has historical roots in the Three Kingdoms period when it was part of the Silla Kingdom's territory
Notably, Gumi is renowned as the birthplace of former South Korean President and dictator Park Chung Hee
Positioned midway between Gumi and Daegu, Chilgok county holds historical significance in South Korean history
Chilgok is recognized for its prominent fortresses used in resisting Japanese invasions, including Cheonsaengsanseong Fortress, where General Gwak Jae-woo fought in 1592, and Gasansanseong Fortress built after the second Manchu invasions in 1636 as well as for its role as a battleground during the Nakdong River and Dabudong conflicts in the Korean War
The Chilgok Patriots & Peace Memorial serves as a dedicated museum honoring soldiers who valiantly defended the Nakdong River's defensive line for 55 days during the Korean War

Namhae South Korea Travel Guide | EXO Ladder 3 | Seolri Skywalk | Seomi Garden | Voyage Cafe
Hi, this is my first vlog! I recently travelled to Namhae to follow EXO ladder shooting locations. I hope this video will help other EXOLs in travelling to Namhae especially that Korea is now accepting tourist.

Here are the details discussed in this vlog:
????How to get to Namhae:
▶️By plane from Gimpo Airport to Jinju or Yeosu Airport - cost may vary but ours is 80,000 KRW one way. Both airports are 1 hour away from Namhae.
▶️By bus via Seoul Nambu Bus Terminal (Seoul South Station) costs 35,900 KRW one way.
Please buy bus tickets early, as slots are very limited. We ended up buying a plane ticket because the bus is fully booked.

Departure : SouthSeoul Station (Nambu Station)
Destination : Namhae
????How to get around Namhae:
▶️By taxi - is the best option as locations are very far from one place to another. We booked a taxi through Instagram and paid 120,000 KRW for 6hrs, additional charge for airport pick-up.

▶️By public bus - there are bus stops along the main highway but we rarely see the bus, it will be very challenging to go around the city using local bus
▶️Rent a car - is popular choice as well.
????Places we visited/ Recommend route:
▶️Namhae Jung Sikdang Restaurant - if you are arriving by bus, just walk to the restaurant. Please make a reservation to secure a table or visit during non-peak hours. We arrived 11:30 AM and we can no longer get a table.
▶️Namhae Public Market- short walk from Jung Sikdang restaurant
▶️Seomi Garden - Beautiful IG-worthy garden. Entrance fee is 5,000 KRW.
▶️Voyage Cafe - the cafe is near Seomi Garden and serves good coffee. The view is beautiful too. IG: voyage_cafe_namhae
▶️Boriam Temple (optional) - you can save atleast 2hrs from your taxi rental if you will not visit Boriam. However, if you like nature, temples and mountains, we recommend you to visit the temple. It is located at Hallyeohaesang National Park. Environmental fee is 1,000 KRW. The location is beautiful and the view is healing. You can pray at the temple too.
▶️Solbaram Beach - where EXO played hopscotch. The beach is less crowded than Sangju beach.
▶️Seolri Skywalk - Watch the beautiful sunset and enjoy the giant swing. Entrance fee is 2,000 KRW.
▶️German Village- you can drop by and eat sausages and drink beer.
Other locations that you can enjoy:
▶️Daraengi Village - A village in a rice terraces. Namhae's number #1 tourist destination.
▶️Sangju Beach - Namhae's Silver Sand beach.

We took a trip to Namhae 남해, South Korea in April. Namhae Island is located on the southern tip of the korean peninsula by the South Sea and is connected to the mainland by a bridge. We explored the German Village, Gardening Art Village, Hallyeohaesang National Park, Boriam Temple, American Village, terraced paddy fileds in Daeraengi village, Sachon Beach, and Sangju Silver Sand Beach. We also found some German cuisine and I share our favorite cafes in Namhae.

액티비티를 정말 좋아하는 저에게는 최고의 여행 스팟이었던 남해보물섬전망대입니다.
스카이워크에서 바라보는 바다의 아름다움은 두 말 할 필요 없구요 스카이워크에 매달리고 그네 탈 때의 그 짜릿함은 지금도 그곳을 다시 가고 싶게끔 만듭니다 ^^
이용 요금도 여행지의 일반 액티비티 비용에 비해 그렇게 비싸지 않다는 것도 정말 마음에 듭니다.
그리고 영상에서는 제대로 소개하지 못했지만 원래 카페이기 때문에 아름다운 전망을 보시면서 커피 한 잔 하시는 것만으로도 충분히 만족스러운 곳입니다.

주황색 지붕을 한 아름다운 집들이 만들어낸 풍경을 배경으로 예쁜 사진 많이 남기실 수 있으실겁니다.
다만 저는 상가가 너무 많고 해서 조금은 아쉬웠지만 마을의 아름다움은 마음에 들었습니다.
저희도 이번에 방문은 하지 못했지만 독일마을에 있는 원예예술촌도 유명한 관광 스팟이니 기회 되시면 함께 방문해 보시는 것도 추천드립니다 ^^
4. 돌창고 프로젝트

저는 왜 다랭이마을이 그렇게 가고 싶었을까요?
학교 다닐때 사진으로 보면서 배웠던 것 같은데 남해에서 꼭 가보고 싶었던 곳입니다.
그곳에서만 볼 수 있는 풍경들이 있기 때문에 방문해 보시면 좋을 것 같습니다.
영상에도 나오듯이 길이 상당히 가파릅니다. 내려가시면 올라올 때 아주 힘드실 수는 있는데 그래도 한 번 내려가보시면 위에서 볼 수 없는 풍경들을 접하실 수 있을겁니다.
7. 보리암

산 정상에 있는 절에서 바라다 보이는 바다가 정말 아름다운 보리암입니다.
방문하는 분들이 정말 많아서 저희는 2번째 시도만에 보고 온 곳입니다.
해질녘에 가시면 가장 아름다운 풍경을 보실 수 있겠지만 오랜 대기시간이 필요하실겁니다.
기다리기 힘들어도 올라가기 힘들어도 꼭 한 번 방문해 보실만한 곳이긴 합니다 ^^
8. 금산산장
금산산장을 가기 위해 보리암에 오시는 분들도 분명히 계실겁니다 ㅎ
남해바다가 보이는 산 정상에서 먹는 라면을 경험해 보고 싶으시다면 꼭 한 번 가 보세요~
가는 길이 조금 경사가 있고 힘든 길이라 좀 편한 복장으로 가시는게 좋을 것 같습니다.
금산산장 가는 모든 분들이 힘들어하셨어요 ㅎ

블로그 후기 같은데에서 불친절하셔서 별로였다 이런 글도 봤는데 제가 갔을 때는 마감직전이셔서 그런지 친절하셨습니다.
암튼 정말 시원한 물회에 면을 말아서 드시면!! 정말 강추합니다.
양도 많고 맛도 정말 좋고~ 저는 다음에 가도 여기는 꼭 다시갑니다 ㅎ

그리고 이번 영상 제외시킨 부분이 있는데 섬이정원과 멸치쌈밥 집입니다.
섬이정원은 인스타그램에서 유명한 사진 포인트가 있어서 유명한데 올라가는 길도 너무 좁고 험해서 큰 차량 가지고 가시는 분들은 정말 힘드십니다.
그리고 정원도 그 포인트에서의 사진만 좀 괜찮지 정원 자체는 정말 볼게 없었습니다.
전국에 유명하다는 정원을 많이 다녀봤는데 여기는 추천하진 못하겠습니다.
정말 실망했던 곳인데 영상에 남기긴 그래서 이 글을 읽으시는 구독자분들은 아셨으면 하는 정보라 남겨봅니다 ^^

Yeosu and Namhae, South Korea 여수 남해 여행
This video is the first of my two part my summer vacation road trip. I visited the cities of Yeosu and Namhae in the southern region of Korea. Follow me as I roam through these cities. In Yeosu, I walked around Odongdo island, rode a cable car, went to the Expo center, walked through an underwater tunnel at Aqua Planet, visited Hyangriam Hermitage and tried their signature soy sauce crabs. In Namhae, I went to the beautiful Boriam temple, stopped by the famous Daraengie Village, and had a relaxing time at Kunst Lounge cafe in the German Village. Namhae Island is a great place to enjoy romantic and lyrical scenery wherever it has long been called the One Point Line (一島島), especially Geumsan Mountain and Sangju Beach in the southern tip of the island are a scenic spot with exquisite harmony between mountains and the sea. The view of the sea wearing Sangju Beach from Boriam near the summit of Geumsan Mountain, which rises in the middle of the island, ensures both cuteness and an open view. Among the temples nesting toward the sea, perhaps Boriam's view is the coolest. Bike Touring Korea: Busan Bike Ride Day 1 Sangju to Daegu
Trying to finish Korea's Cross Country Cycling Road 4 Rivers Bike Path. 2020, Covid-19 came to Korea, then flooding of Han River in August same year. I only did Ara, Hangang, Bukhangang and some part of Namhangang bike path. Last spring I did Yangpyeong to Andong and planned to finish at least the 4 Rivers but I had a bike accident. Hope I can accomplish something this time.
