The son of Lanzarote, Cesar Manrique has to be mentioned when talking about Lanzarote and is famous for several cultural places on the island, and his touch even stretches to all corners of the island when arcitectural decisions have to be made.
Lanzarote is truely an inspirational island when coming to it's volcanic landscapes, arcitecture and comforts of easy going resorts, with all kinds of international ammenities.

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region
The coast of Alicante province is part of Costa Blanca and has about 160 km of beaches to enjoy the sea and landscape. The Alicante coast offers extensive beaches of sand for the swimmers who prefer to sunbath and take an occasional dip in the water. However, it also allows you to discover incredible rocky coves for scuba diving, dunes covered with pinewood forests, beaches with boulders and many other corners where it is possible to anchor small boats and have an unforgettable day.

stunning panoramic views over the landscape and sea, a very lush and green area.
The house distributed over 3 floors. The ground floor has a large living room with integrated kitchen, two bedrooms and a bathroom with bath. On the 1st floor there is a large master bedroom with walking closet and en-suite bathroom with shower plate. From this room there is a private terrace with sun all day and views. On the basement level there is another separate area that has been turned into a chill-out area with bed sofa, toilet and a workshop area.
The garden is fantastic with a large parking space, a terrace with pergola and real Argentinean BBQ area where you can sit for hours and watching the views and relax with family and friends.
There is a terrace leading out from the living room where there is some sun chairs today.
A very safe community with large pool area and nice neighbours. From there its 2km to the Golf Course Las Colinas, to the beaches in Orihuela Costa its about 10 min in Car ( 7 km)
Only a few minutes walk from the house there is restaurants and bars.

Hello! ???? This footage was filmed back in 2017, in those relatively carefree days way before the pandemic struck and social distancing became a thing. I have been having a nostalgic time re-editing this vlog. I'm missing travelling and exploring new places - but watching this again made me feel as though I just had a little coffee-break trip to Spain.
It's our first day in San Miguel de Salinas in the Autumn of 2017. We need to get some food shopping.
After starting the day in our Air BnB with a lovely cup of tea, we head out to Eddie's Bar for coffee and breakfast.
We next explore the open-air market in San Miguel de Salinas and I buy lots of fruits and vegetables plus a few other bits and bobs.
Next, it's time to drop into a Spanish supermarket. I LOVE exploring supermarkets in different countries - I think I even prefer it to all the tourist destinations if I'm honest. I'm slightly shocked by what is on sale in the meat section!

What do you eat and drink in the Mercado de San Miguel (aka the San Miguel Market)? It’s such a common question. And I understand the confusion! This place has so many options, and can get really busy!
In this video I take you inside the San Miguel Market for a food tour of sorts. We eat and drink at 9 different stops - including vermouth, olives, cheese, bacalao, fried fish, pintxos, paella and gelato. And I give you my honest opinion on each stop.
I also answer the following questions
- Is the Mercado de San Miguel a market?
- Is the Mercado de San Miguel a tourist trap?
- What time is the best time to visit the Mercado de San Miguel?
The places I stopped at to eat were:
1. La Hora del Vermut for vermouth and banderillas and olives
2. Mya Quesos for cheese
3. La Casa del Bacalao for bacalao and smoked sardines
4. Mr Pinkleton for wine
5. El Señor Martín for fried seafood
6. Arzábal for patatas bravas

And I also give you my opinion on the market as a whole. Is it worth visiting? I think if it’s your first time then yes. But go when it’s quieter, and know that sometimes the prices are expensive. But that it’s a fun place to get your tapas sea legs. So it really should be the beginning of your tapas adventure, not the end of it.

I'm Imo and she's Izzy. We're a UK mother and daughter vlogging combo that loves to get out and about and exploring South Wales and beyond.
We're a homeschooling/home-educating family of two based in the UK dealing with the daily challenges of managing Izzy's severe, chronic eczema and her education. Our resourcefulness is tested on a daily basis, but we'd love to share our little triumphs and discoveries with you as we go along.
Imo is a flautist/flutist (flute player), and these vlogs will often take you behind the scenes of the life of a professional folk musician. Stand by for bits and bobs of live folk music and dance as they pop up in our day-to-day lives.
These videos will not generally feature recorded background music, making them extra suitable for people who aren't keen on pop music!

Modern detached villas in a residential area of San Miguel de Salinas, a municipality of the Costa Blanca South with an impressive golf offer, since it is surrounded by four of the main golf courses in the area, such as Villamartin Golf, Las Ramblas Golf, Real Golf Club Campoamor and Las Colinas Golf.
