We visited Androsia, a famous clothing company here in Andros. We stopped and explored many blue holes. The boys were not prepared with swim suits and all, but that didn't stop them. They jumped right in. We are very proud of Chase, who has never jumped from a high cliff or distance. He jumped in so fast for that $5, it was almost worth more.
We are a family of 5 from Texas who sold everything in May of 2019 to buy a boat, and cruise fulltime. We have been all over Florida and the Bahamas. We have seen the highs and lows of boatlife. Join us as we Enjoy the Journey. After 4 years we have decided to put down some roots in Florida. The boys are involved in everything; church, youth group, scouts, football, baseball, rock climbing, homeschool events and more......

Off the BEATEN PATH sailing Andros Island | Captain Bill's Blue Hole and more [WI Ep 106]
Sometimes it's nice to go off the beaten path while sailing and this is exactly what we did in Andros Island. Fresh Creek doesn't see many sailors and we had it to ourselves. The locals took us in and we really experienced a unique Bahamas. From a lesson in the back of someone's truck on how to crack conch shells to hermit crab racing on an island to cliff jumping into Captain Bill's Blue hole or being taught which plants to eat we were loving the island life. Andros Island is home to the third largest fringing barrier reef and also has the world's greatest amount of Blue holes. A perfect spot on our sailing journey in the Bahamas.
