CARTAGENA, Colombia — Walking Tour 4K with Captions ????????

Welcome to Cartagena, Colombia. Let's discover the beautiful WALLED CITY of Cartagena. The Old City has many attractions as Puerta del Reloj, Plaza de Bolivar, Catedral de Cartagena, Museo del Oro, Castillo de San Felipe, Café del Mar and more - Recorded in 4K by Wanna Walk

Located in COLOMBIA, Cartagena is probably the most colorful Caribbean city. With a fascinating combination of old and new, Cartagena Walled City (El Centro) or Old Town attracts everybody. Let's watch the main things to do and see within the city walls, from churches to wonderful sunsets over the sea.

Things to do in the Old City of Cartagena, Colombia

Beautiful old town. Full of beautiful old colonial style buildings. Many fruit stands, great shopping, awesome restaurants. This old city certainly is worth a visit. Big parts are already totally resaturated and really very, very beautiful. We took a local bus from our cruise ship to the center and walked.

The beauty of Cartagena's walled city is its compact size but get lost in the old town in just a couple of hours, but why leave so little time? We recommend spending at least two to three days wandering through the cobblestone streets, past colorful homes and Spanish colonial gems.

It's best to leave your map behind and simply get lost in the maze. The walled city of Cartagena fits comfortably in the same category of tourist destinations (Unique Tours by Locals - Top Tours in Cartagena). I stay in Cartagena walled city for a week and I loved the vibe. walk everywhere. felt extremely safe walking at all times. great choice of bars and restaurants.

Cartagena's walled city is a wonderful place were you can find anything you are looking for: restaurants, cafes, parks, monuments, etc. Something I really liked was the amount of police officers that made me feel I was in the most secure place of the world.

Linking Cartagena's narrow streets are several beautiful plazas. Just behind the Puerta del Reloj (Clock Tower), which is the main entrance to the walled city, is Plaza de la Aduana. This plaza really comes alive at night, with vendors selling piping-hot arepas and locals swaying to salsa or cumbia. Cartagena: Walled City Walking Tour.

The place itself can be one of the most spectacular spots to visit: the walled Cartagena city is charming, the old houses, the colors the flowers. The history of this place makes it so magical to walk and discover what happened here long time ago. As s colonial spot and slavery port this town carries a strong story that you can discover in public buildings, churches and guided tours.

Old city walking tour of Cartagena: The old city is worth exploring. We didn't take a tour but rather just meandered up and down different streets and he architecture is eclectic with some streets feeling Caribbean. There are a variety of shops from high end international brands to local supermarket chains: Free Walking Tours in Cartagena Colombia!

Also, you can walk on top of some of the walls on the outer limits which is neat. The old town of Cartagena is amazing! Great to just walk around to see not only historical sites but also many beautiful buildings.

The walled city is a must see if you visit Cartagena. The old historic feel of this place is amazing. Take a stroll along the top of the wall and being able to stand on top of the wall and look out into the Sea just imagining what it was like hundreds of years ago. Plenty of food and shopping don't short yourself here on time.

7-Day Tour of Colombia Coffee Country - Jardin, Salento, and Fredonia

After living in Medellin for 3 months, we booked this amazing 7-day tour of Colombia Coffee Country with the help of our friends and locals. It was perfect.

Despite some off-roading in our rental car, the food, accommodations, coffee Finca tours, and hikes were incredible. If you're planning to visit Colombia Coffee Country, we highly recommend the below.

Rent a car in Medellin through Triple A Solutions. Get an SUV with 4x4. Stay in El Poblado at 14 Urban Hotel for 1 night.

In the morning, travel to Jardin where you'll do a Finca tour with Margus. They do an amazing job! In Jardin, enjoy the city center, but don't sleep there (it's loud). Instead, stay at 40 Amigos Hotel for 1 night.

In the morning, take a sketchy dirt road through the mountains/jungle on your way to Salento. Spend three nights in Salento at El Cairo Hacienda. While in Salento, go shopping, eat at Cafe Bernabe Gourmet, Acaime, and at the Hacienda. Book a premium 3-hour coffee tour with Finca El Ocasa. Spend a day hiking in the wax palms. Play Tejos. Lastly, hike the waterfall behind the Hacienda. It's very nice.

After breakfast on the last day, drive to Fredonia and spend the night at La Hacienda La Sierra. It's VIP and everything was excellent. The views especially. After a horseback ride and lunch the next day, drive back to Medellin for the night.

We hope you enjoy the trip as much as we did! Post questions in the comments below or reach out to us at ryanandalex@ryanandalex.com

Welcome to Colombia

Bogotá is the capital city of Colombia, and there are a lot of fun plans for Sunday in Bogota, one of them is visiting flea markets, the Bogota Sunday Market. In public parking areas you will find several spots in the city where people sell recycled goods, used and cheap things. There’re four principal flea markets in Bogota; three of them are located in Bogota’s Downtown, and the fourth is situated in the neighborhood Usaquen. Flea Markets are the perfect place to enjoy music, remember childhood memories and eat food only in Colombia offered, such as Lechona and Salpicón. It is also the perfect place to get in touch with locals and learn about their live and thoughts. Colombians love to communicate and on Sunday’s everybody is very relaxed. Specifically, in Usaquen you can find a broad variety of restaurants of high quality. Restaurants as Chevichería La Mar to get some Peruvian food in Bogota, Julia to get one of Bogotas best pizza and San Alberto’s Coffee Temple, a nice place to get a cup of Colombian coffee (Watch full video about San Alberto’s Farm: Besides the flee market you can also stroll down Carrera 7 (carrera septima Bogota), which on Sunday’s is full of street artists, sellers, bikers, tourist, locals and you can be sure that you will see some cool but also some very weird stuff. Make sure you have some coins in your pocket and make those Bogota Street Artists move and show their stuff. Best place to start for the walk down the Carrera 7 is Plaza Bolivar right in the middle of La Candelaria, the historic part of Bogota. If you travel to Colombia you will have the chance to see all this and enjoy the things to do in Colombia.

COLOMBIA - COFFEE REGION

One of the most beautiful regions for visitors of Colombia is the coffee region. It lies in the highlands west of Bogotá between Medellín and Cali. The landscape is characterized by green hillsides and picturesque small towns. The beautiful nature, a mild climate, friendly people, viewpoints, thermal baths and much more, invites you to activities.

The finest way of preparing a Colombian Coffee in 4 easy steps! #TipTheClip!

Famous around the world, Colombia’s coffee is a national symbol. There is magic in a good cup of coffee, and there’s a ritual behind making sure each cup is as exceptional as it can be. Hector, besides being a guide he's a certified coffee barista who shares with you the subtle process behind one of our favorite ways to make an impeccable cup!

Hector's Top Recommendations:

In La Candelaria, right next to Chorro de Quevedo square you find Casa Galeria, a single-origin coffee from Jesus Martin, one of the best coffee producers in Colombia. Here I especially recommend the “Peaberry” on a dripper.

In downtown Bogota, right next to the Gold Museum, you find Cafe San Alberto. Just one name brand, just one variety. But, San Alberto is the coffee from Colombia that has received the most awards internationally. And they have the medals to prove it! I recommend you try this coffee on a “Syphon” also known as “Vacum pot”.

Also in downtown Bogota, right across from the Museum of Gold, on 16th Street, you find the absolute mecca for exotic coffee lovers. Arte y Pasion cafe - Barista school. Here you find coffee from all the different regions of Colombia so you are sure to find something to please your taste buds. I especially recommend either the pink bourbon, the Don Miguel white or the Maragogipe. All of them roasted on-site by Master roaster and creator Antonio Romero.

And for those of you staying in the north part of the city, specifically in the Usaquen area I absolutely recommend you visit, Catacion Publica. There, Master roaster Jaime Duque and his team will impress you with a nice assortment of special coffees also roasted on-site that will be sure to delight your taste buds. Also a great place for learning about anything coffee related.
