El Salto de Las Golondrinas está ubicado en la comunidad de Las Tres Cruces, Provincia Hermanas Mirabal (Salcedo). Pertenece a Rio Partido. Se debe caminar una hora y media, entre montañas (algunas muy empinadas) y arroyos.
Si vas a visitar este lugar, recuerda dejarlo igual de limpio como lo encontraste.

La línea Noroeste es una de las regiones más olvidadas de nuestro país. Al terminar la era dorada de Montecristi, disminuyó sustancialmente la intención de inversión y desarrollo en estas provincias.
En la Bahía de Manzanillo esta situación ha sido más notoria, siendo alguna vez uno de los puertos de mayor interés nacional y considerada como una potencia agrícola en el mundo, terminó convirtiéndose en un pueblo olvidado durante décadas.
Sin embargo, su condición geográfica y sus atractivos naturales mantuvieron siempre a esta parte de la Provincia Montecristi, dentro de los destinos más interesantes para la inversión en República Dominicana. Porque aquí en esta pequeña porción de Montecristi, se encuentra una de las áreas protegidas de mayor importancia en todo el país, resguardando decenas de kilómetros de mangle, responsables de mantener el equilibrio biológico de toda la costa Norte de la isla. Además, de un excelente clima de seguridad, la cercanía con el mercado haitiano, y los incentivos gubernamentales para la inversión que se han venido desarrollando en los últimos años motivando la industria y la captación de capital.
En este episodio seremos testigos de esas inmensas ganas de progreso de Manzanillo y su municipio Pepillo Salcedo, de sus indudables condiciones que lo pronostican como la región más próspera de Quisqueya.

Exploring Rio San Juan: Top Attractions and Hidden Gems
Río San Juan (Dominican Republic) is maybe a less known coastal town when it comes to tourist attractions, however, recently, it's being discovered more and more by tourists and locals as a very appealing and tranquil destination, full of hidden gems, such as Lagunas, cenotes, and breathtaking remote beaches. In this video, I will cover some of those attractions which I think, are definitely worth your attention.
Rio San Juan is part of the Maria Trinidad Sanchez Province on the North-East Coast located between Puerto Plata and Nagua. From Puerto Plata, it’s a about 55-mile drive east, and it takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes to reach via the winding coastal road with gorgeous views of the North Atlantic ocean. Driving from Sosua, it took me about 1 hour to get there, and it's a stretch of about 60 km.
Together with you viewers, we'll be exploring this area by visiting attractions one by one as they appear on the map.

VISITÉ LA CASA MUSEO DE LAS HERMANAS MIRABAL
Hace 10 años quería visitar este lugar - La Casa Museo de las Hermanas Mirabal. Las hermanas Mirabal son: Patria, Minerva, y Maria Teresa. Dejaron a su otra hermana Dedé que mantenía su historia viva después de sus muertes. Su historia me inspira como mujer y quiero que también conozcas su historia.
Es por estas tres mujeres valientes que celebramos el Día Internacional de la Eliminación de la Violencia Contra la Mujer cada 25 de noviembre. Su historia no es solamente importante dentro del contexto de la historia dominicana sino que sigue relevante para todo el mundo. A lo largo de sus vidas lucharon contra el hombre más temido del hemisferio, Trujillo, el dictador más cruel de Latinoamérica, que las encarceló varias veces, y sus esposos también. Y todo hicieron sin miedo de la muerte.
Minerva Mirabal dice en una frase ya muy famosa: Si me matan, sacaré los brazos de la tumba y seré más fuerte. Con esta frase respondió ella a las amenazas de muerte de Trujillo.
Hoy (por puro coincidencia) es el 30 de mayo, el día que mataron a Trujillo el Hitler de Latinoamérica en 1961. Quiero que este video también se vuelva viral al igual que el último porque habla de algo realmente importante en el mundo de hoy. Que su legado sea una fuerza dentro de la lucha feminista para ayudarnos a trasformar nuestro mundo de la misma manera que ellas trasformaron a su país. ???? ???????? COMPARTE ESTE VIDEO POR FAVOR!!
