Riverdale is a city in Clayton County, Georgia, United States. The population was 15,134 at the 2010 census,[5] up from 12,478 in 2000. Riverdale is a suburb just south of Hartsfield–Jackson Atlanta International Airport and is part of the Atlanta metropolitan area.[citation needed]

I went to the real Mystic Falls from The Vampire Diaries!!! AKA Covington, Georgia (where they also film so many other series and films too!)
We only stayed there for 1 night but we packed it all in seeing all the key filming locations for The Vampire Diaries, Eating in the Mystic Grill and staying in a Vampire Diaries themed Airbnb!

Derek and I had so much fun visiting our college friends in Atlanta, Georgia this spring!
Neither of us had spent considerable time in Atlanta prior to this visit, so we didn’t know what to expect when we arrived. We ended up finding a busy food city with great art and culture to boot - what a treat!
After a long weekend exploring around town, eating tons of food, visiting attractions, asking questions to my pals who live there, and so much more, I felt that I was able to get a pretty solid lay of the land.
On the last day of my ATL stay, I had a blast filming this video dedicated to anyone else who is planning a trip to Atlanta!
