The Khudoyar Khan Palace
The Khudoyar Khan Palace is the former residence of the Kokand Khan, who ruled Kokand from 1845 to 1875.
The palace, also known as the Kokand Urda, is included in the UNESCO World Heritage List and is an invaluable monument of the history, culture of Uzbekistan.
There is the Kokand Museum of Local Lore inside the citadel, which introducing visitors to the history of the region and the palace.

Kokand city, located in the western part of the Fergana Valley, is one of the most ancient cities of Uzbekistan. The first written records about the city Hukande, Havokande (old names of the city) were found in the chronicles of the 10th century. The town was important trade center on the Silk Road and in the 13th century, like most Central Asian cities, was destroyed by the Mongols.

In this video, along with my Host Nasiba, who is an English Teacher in a Russian School located in the small town of Besharik, located near the Kokand city of Fergana Valley. I thought of going just to see the school which eventually turns out to be myself being treated as a chief guest at a big public school.

I had deep long conversation as well as mentoring session with the students as well as teachers of the school. Also, the students gave me warm welcome by singing songs for me. Bu ulug'vor majmua yettinchi xon saroyi bo'lgan va xon g'oyasiga ko'ra Qo'qon hukmdorining qudratini eslatish uchun avvalgi saroylardan kattaligi va muhtasham bezaklari bilan ustun bo'lishi kerak edi.

This beautiful & historical palace located in kokand city ,ferghana valley, Uzbekistan.There are 113 rooms inside this palace,There are 7 courtyards inside this palace but before Russian influences,now these days only 19 Rooms or 3 Court yards are present.
The Palace of Khudayar Khan was built between 1863 and 1874 by ruler Muhammad Khudayar Khan.
Khudayar Khan commissioned architect Mir Ubaydullo to build him a royal residence with 113 rooms set around seven courtyards.
The facade of the building is decorated with mosaic tiles and an Arabic inscription above the entrance. The inscription translates as Seid Mohammad Khudayar Khan: the great ruler.
Most of the palace, including its , harem was demolished by the soviet, but 19 rooms These are open to the public, and the interiors have been partially restored. They show a combination of Russian and traditional Uzbek styles, and the exquisite craftsmanship of Kokand's 19th century artisans.
