Zuerst bekamen wir nicht genug von Los Barrancos, den Schluchten und beeindruckenden Hügeln und Formen, die in der Abanilla-Wüste geprägt wurden. Dann begann der Verwöhn- und Schlemmerteil mit der Familie. Zwischendurch gab es noch einen Werkstattbesuch.

Egal ob Geocachen oder einfach eine tolle LP Tour. In dem Bergbaugelände Coto de San Cristóbal ist für jeden etwas dabei.

In dieser Folge nehmen wir euch mit, auf eine spannende und abenteuerliche Reise in eine alte Silbermine in der Nähe von Mazarrón.
Wir waren von diesem Gelände fasziniert und kamen aus dem Staunen nicht mehr raus. Alle weiteren Informationen zu der Geocache Runde und den Park- und Stellplätzen, findet ihr im Video und weiter unten, in der Beschreibung.

Informationen zu dem Minengelände:

Magnetisches Land, das alle Arten von Besuchern anzieht. Tapferes Land, das sich in seinen Metallen abbauen lässt.
Mazarrón verdankt seine Geburt den Minen, die von den Römern, Karthagern und Phöniziern genutzt wurden, um Silber und Blei aus den mächtigen Ländern von Murcia zu gewinnen.
Es wurde schon damals ein Ort der Durchreise und ein Wert auf dem Vormarsch.

Noch viel später versuchte das 20. Jahrhundert, sein Inneres durch neue Abbaustätten weiter in sich aufzunehmen, ohne diesem mediterranen Boden eine Pause zu gönnen. All diese Ausgrabungen haben jedoch in Mazarrón kraftvolle Landschaften hinterlassen, die mit dem Weiß und der Schönheit seiner Strände kontrastieren.

Orte wie der Coto de Pedreras Viejas, der Coto Fortuna (mit dem Entwässerungsstollen) oder der Coto de San Cristóbal und Los Perules sind heute verlassene Ländereien, die in ihren Flüssen einen bitteren Nachgeschmack hinterlassen, vom Rost gerötet, aber mit spektakulären Landschaften, mehr typisch für Planeten wie den Mars. In der Coto de San Cristóbal befindet sich die Corta Roma. Eine Art „verfluchtes Dorf“ im ganzen Land, das sich über seine alten Erkundungen zu beklagen scheint, die eine Million Farben ins Blickfeld werfen, während es immer noch das zerstörte Dorf um es herum verteidigt.

Das Gelände öffnet sich zu einem über 300 Meter langen Tagebau; Mine, die noch immer an ihren Wänden die Schläge der Gewinnung des Minerals bewahrt, als wären sie Narben, die die Zeit darauf hinterlassen hat. Schöne und verstörende Orte, die mittlerweile zu einer Goldgrube für Fotografen aller Art geworden sind.
